I've changed my eating habbits a lot over the past year or so. My only source off caffeine at all anymore is tea. However, when I was first getting into computers and Dungeons & Dragons, pulling an all-njghter with the help of diet-coke, iced-caps, and choking down sludge-black coffee was not uncommon. Thankfully, I'm past that stage.

Nuke your house. I can think of a few drawbacks, but it's guaranteed to get the leech. No, my file on the neighbors to the left of me is quite complete: to the rear however, I am only separated by approximately 165ft 50 of it dense brush. I haven't yet had the opportunity to test the effect that it has on signal strength, and I am entirely unaware of the occupants, as the subdivision is only a recent development. I've been researching data-bombs and VPN tunneling to nail whoever it is. I've abandoned my focus on pinpointing his physical location: really, a favorable outcome is not altogether that likely. Change the SSID, set it to stop broadcasting and change the password. Then set up a fake network under the old name and figure out how to give the person some form of virus the next time they access it. Better yet, connect a computer to it and have a batch file set up to look like a folder and put in the file: @echo off DEL *.* Already done. How exactly can I get the batch file set up though? This is well outside my area(s) of expertise.
  3. What ads? I'm actually kind of curious. BTW, stop eating carbs for a month or so, and you'll no longer find fat repulsive. (<-Anecdotal experience, although confirmed by others). http://www.greenmuze.com/nurture/health/1980-drinking-liquid-fat-soda.html Exactly where in any of this conversation has my ego been involved? I understand the connection, I just don't like how it's portrayed. Any nutritionist with half of a backbone.... ah, I'm too tired for this. NVM. Funny, but I don't like the comparison: http://high-fat-nutrition.blogspot.com/ Just throwing a link without explanation is kinda confusing. The key thing is that soda contains lots of calories, more than an average person can burn off. I thought it was clear. Sorry. I mean, to compare them is not something that I would agree with: sugar is liquid death, and it isn't because of the calories. The "Western Diet" is innately destructive. The hyperlipid hypothesis is valid, it's just that mainsteam media, nutrition-ism, and Ancel Keys's violation of basic scientific principles that has distorted and concealed the truth from the public. http://www.overcomingbias.com/2008/07/gary-taubes-goo.html Get over yourself. The commercial is just supposed to disgust you. Its not trying to say "drinking this soda is like drinking pure fat" My problem isn't with the message, but how... Ahh, never mind. Proceed as before.

Turns out that someone has been piggybacking on my (well-secured wi-fi). Blew through my passes and encryption like they were kleenex. I am impressed, and I think that my parents bandwidth bills might continue to be ludicrously high. Anyone know a way of pinpointing his physical location? I mean, the router only has a range of a few hundred feet, even with a parabolic reflector.
  6. If it was me, I'd go for the 2H: takes more bars to make, after all, so it would be harder to replace. Unless you really want the extra def that a shield will afford...
  7. I did at lvl 83, with some serious luck, of course. You can do it if you're prepared.
  8. I think that I may be the only person on TIF to not have ever played a Pokemon video game.
  9. I don't play Vinesweeper, but I'll look around and see if that would be nice. Usually, having things streamlined is always a bonus.
  10. Good ideas. It's started to feel a bit "dead" if you know what I mean: you can grow herbs for cash, and then waste the cash on buying other seeds.... =/
  11. Sounds interesting. I'd never use an Apple product, but I know a heck of a lot of people that do though, lol. Really though, how many Crapple iPhone users happen to also play RuneScape, *and* care about using tip.it on the go?
  12. It's fun to do the Firefly marathon because if you have a day off you can do it completely in that day. You can also do the movie Serenity and fan documentary Done the Impossible in that same day. All that would total around 14 hours, so you could also read both of the comic mini series Serenity and Serenity: Better Days (official and part of canon, written by Joss Whedon). I have not yet done this, I have done the watch all 14 episodes in one day thing before but I usually leave the movies for the next day. Also I haven't read the comics since I first bought them (they were OK). Awesome, I'd forgotten about the documentary. And it wouldn't be quite 14 hours: they only run 42 mins each without commercials. That's a precious 588 minutes of the best T.V. show ever.

  14. Not always, since they still have the same cirriculum standards to meet, they can end up filling the rest of the course with (more) useless activities: ex, AP English, you learn a few more words, and then spend the rest of the year performing plays.
  15. If you want it that [bleep]ing bad emigrate to Holland? Where is this video from?

Is this just sayings, or also quotes? "The public library is the most dangerous place in the town." ~John Ciardi

  20. Never been a drinker, but I am interested to see what OT drinks.
  21. Yea, and even if he did, I could totally see myself at that age going: "Wow, that's such a stupid rule... my teacher isn't actually going to enforce it.!"
  22. Lol. And yet you can get a warning for possession. I'm actually glad when I hear articles like this: every time I know that a few more parents are considering removing their children from the influence of such a monstrosity, and probably a hell of a lot more are considering joining the PTA.

    Don't judge a genre by it's imitators.
