  1. I totally agree that the rune armour makes out arms look stupidly skinny, but it still looks great in HD. However, what really gets me is that just about all of the best armour (which is just ludicrously unaffordable) looks more like the (thin and un-protective) clothing of a stripper, as opposed to the solid and impenetrable armour of a might warrior...
  2. Both of your parents have nuts? :o  :o  They share them. ;)
  3. My account is worth more than just time to me; every hour I spend on it, it gains reputation, a shroud of mystique, new friends, new enemies, and a slightly more complex personality. Im not sure, I don't think that I would know until I would be faced with that decision.
  4. Ok, I've decided I will mix in training it with training other easily "buyable skills" with the cash I make from it (eg, summoning, cooking, firemaking.) Thanks a ton for the help guys
  5. Yup, after only a couple mil and a hundred or so hours an at 96, believe me, I know rc is a lot harder. :ohnoes: I'll take your advice: my first goal will be 75, then I'll lookat getting to 91, maybe with a break in-between.
  6. 27k/hour at what level? Here is the biggest problem with runecrafting, you can make more money at higher levels but the experience remains the same even at 99 runecrafting (only exception is ZMI). I still encourage you to try it, it is a skill that can earn you a lot of money if you stick to it. starting at upwards of 300k hour with graahks. you could be earning 1 million gp a day if you get good at it. i take it you have 57 summoning and know about rc pouches, super energys and dueling rings. More or less, yes, I do, although I do not yet have 57 summoning, following 99 fletch, it is my next goal (I already have most of the required money and am growing marigolds for bull ants), and am in possession of quite a number of emerald rings to make into rings of dueling, and will have over 1mil at the start or my goal to spend on supplies.
  7. 27k/hour at what level?
  8. Hi, I'm Cooldog08, and I'm interested in getting my RuneCrafting (currently level 59) to level 99. I am just finishing up getting 99 fletching (800k from 99 as I write.) and am eventually looking to get further 99's. One that I am looking at is RC, as it is one of the most difficult and respected skillcapes to earn. I was wondering, can anyone offer any answer to how long it would take if I used the Spirit Graahk method (which I believe is the fastest?)
  9. Wow, that article really is a joke... promoting obesity, lmao.

Frustration is an identifiable emotion when you lose "pixels" (you can't "lose" pixels), but I find that saying something to that effect helps to calm me down when I am feeling frustrated with a loss or mistake.
  11. Lol, brilliant explanation, didn't understand it was that complicated, but I suppose you have the right to complain other people are picking up your arrows.
  12. Dumb, but compfreak does have a point.
  13. If anything, I would say that mage is overpowered, especially in FOG, where on F2P, I routinely get owned by mages several combat levels lower than me. As for ranged, I find that if a ranger is 5-10 combat levels higher than me, I'm as good as dead, otherwise, it depends on how close we are.
  14. Perhaps Jagex has made it too easy to rapidly buy and level up skills, but honestly, they also created the problem originally: who has the time to kill an untold number of dragons to get 99 prayer? Or to but tens of thousands of magic or yew ogs for 99 fletching?
  15. I experience this constantly from people I know: I tend to discount them from the list of people that I call friends, but as a Canadian high school student, I offer advice to those entering high school: HIDE IT! Or you WILL be mocked, even by people who played a short while ago, and may even have introduced you to it.
  16. I have never particularly enjoyed questing, but there is no doubt (in my opinion) that it takes far more time and total skills to receive a quest cape then it does to achieve Firemaking, Cooking, or Fletching (which I am currently going for).
  17. Well thought out, even if I do not agree with everything you said. This really would have made an excellent Times article. I have to say though, if we implemented your suggested changes, the outcry from the "old class" of players would be enormous (perhaps even myself included), so maybe we need a way to balance out the time spend by the older players?
  18. Wow, an hour and a half long runescape movie. Can't wait to see it.
  19. I would have to say that the easiest skill is cooking... not because is is buyable, but because it costs very little money (you can sell the fish again for a nominal loss), and takes possibly the least time of any skillcape, along with requiring very little of the players attention.
  20. It really just seems silly to have one: after all, many are just players who want free money/items, and are willing to be whatever gender you want, and may very well be all of 10 years old.
  21. Not sure about the bit about new content every month, but everything else seems pretty interesting.
