Guthix Follower, trying to get all skills 50+. So I should wait awhile for melee stats huh -_- what about Range and Magic? It's nice to see a follower of Guthix. : Myself, I have Book of Balance and a Guthix Raptor. I remember the day I hit all 50+ \ it was awesome! But yeah do slayer in conjuction with melee, you should definitely level up range, it used to be terrible but using a rune crossbow and broad bolts is FTW!!!

You need way more levels. 80+ melee will do, try for 70 prayer as it's helpful but not required. Clans won't even consider you with below these stats. (On a side note your levels are very balanced :thumbsup: )

I like having money. It felt awesome when I first bought my DFS. I went on a Bronze Dragon task to charge it up and buying something so expensive but cool just thrilled me. It's not like money is everything to me, but I like gaining money so that I can try out the really high-end gear. I never thought I'd see the day when I could afford to use a godsword but that day has come and passed thanks in part to that market crash in early September :thumbsup: (still no godsword, got Bandos Chestplate and Bandos Tassets instead). My next goal is to basically max out my ranging gear. I can easily afford snakeskin boots, dragonhide, archer ring, etc. but I'm waiting to have a few extra million sitting around before I buy Robin Hood and Ranger Boots.

No. Having a Brazilian version of RS is one of the absolute worst things that could ever happen to the fanbase. Brazilians are pretty much about as cool as the macroer Korean gold farmers from a few years ago. If there's anything I despise about online foreigners it's Brazilians, they are constantly annoying; do you like seeing "jajajajajajajajajaja" on your screen? OT: This is cool I never knew RS was that awesome. I mean I knew it has the best 3-D graphics for a Java-based game but dang, didn't know they grew at 35% a year...that's cool cuz they can hire an awesome graphics team, more staff to make quests, more brains involved means better ideas to keep RS great. I hope Sony massively fails with "Free Realms" just like how they massively failed on that overpriced pile of worthless garbage blu-ray player that also happens to play games. Just my 2 cents.

Doing berry bushes is pointless IMO. Hops patches are useless. Hit up all 4 major farms (allotment x2, flower, herb), My Arm's disease-free herb patch, and each of the five tree patches, as well as the five fruit tree patches. Once you hit level 55...heh, profit.

I facepalm every time I see someone protect praying at Spectres. It is completely unnecessary. Using a bunyip+food is cheaper. Way cheaper. Also, Gorak tasks are short enough to the point that you can Auto-Retaliate the whole task and use a bunyip. They damage you just enough to the point that you can't go watch an episode of Spongebob in the other room, but protect prayers are also unnecessary at Goraks. Waterfiends I just skip...

30 low alchs. 3 run energy recharges. (Here's the best part...) UNLIMITED amount of Cabbage Patch Teleports (or as I call it, 'CPTs'). :) I'm still not sure when the whole ring recharges. Quite a few days I've noticed it recharges at 7pm U.S. central time (-6). Still not sure though. I think it takes 24 hours since you last used a charge, rounded down maybe :-s just a though. Wrong. I used all 3 charges at about 4pm today for my daily tree farming run (west coast U.S. btw) and then when I logged in again at 5:30pm it said "Your charges are back" or whatever message pops up telling you when it's recharged.

Personally I wear Bandos for its stats. Don't like the looks of it (especially how the QP Cape looks with it on the shoulders) but i like the defense it provides. If I cared how I looked I'd probably be wearing full rune (t) with rune gloves and rune boots.

Dude your stats aren't even close to the minimum reqs. for those shields. I'd suggest a regular ol' Spirit Shield.

Whip+Rune Defender+Slayer Helmet in the smoky well even if they aren't your task.

Kurask are worth it because they give lots of slayer xp. Occasionally you'll get a noted flax drop or a rune long or maybe even that 75k mystic robetop. So yes, do Kurask tasks. Turoth on the other hand aren't as good but they drop some herb seeds, nats, and rune daggers iirc

Even though I won't be helping with the assisting of the air runners, I 100% support you for what you are doing to stop the liars who cheat lower lvls out of runecraft xp.

I'm not familiar with the PayByCash method (I use PayPal) so I don't really know how that could happen.

Yeah just keep the coffers around 1 mil and check it/get your approval to 100% once every 2 or 3 days and you'll make a nice profit. Personally, I check my kingdom weekly right after I do Tears of Guthix, that way I know I have to add 525k to my coffers at that time.

Yeah, if I ever happen to obtain a full set of 3rd Age from clue scrolls I'll probably train fletching to 99 just for kicks while making tons of maple long (u) but other than that it's not worth it.

In that time, you could have very easily made 1 billion gp in pure cash by GWDing. Very true. But I think that some people just can't get past the fact that they can sell something worth (5mil on the GE) for over twice that with junk. They just want to see that 12mil or whatever on their inv. screen otherwise they feel they are getting screwed over by the GE price.

Aren't his different breath attacks different colors? If so, it would be best if you ranged with a rune crossbow at a distance to see which is which, also to see which breath attacks hit you for damage when you're using antifire+DFS. I'm too tired to try this out tonight but maybe sometime this weekend, hopefully KBD lair won't be infested with noobs (who hopefully will all be slaughering each other on PvP worlds : )

The whole reason I spent 19mil on Bandos Chestplate and Bandos Tassets was because it doesn't degrade. Otherwise I'd be wearing Torags right now...

I kinda want to test this out now but seeing as my summoning level isn't 88+ I don't think I could effectively stay at KBD's room for long enough periods of time to get really good solid results...

Honestly I really don't know what you're missing. I was able to request assistance to craft my 24 slayer rings (I'm 6 crafting levels shy of the requirement for making them myself) so I don't think making the slayer helm should be any different. But of course Jagex might be sneaky and didn't mention your character can't req. assist. and has to have 55 crafting to do it?

Ah, now it makes more sense to me. I guess pretty much half the time I get hit with one of KBD's breath attacks I should expect to take some damage. I know the poison/freeze/reduction breath attacks don't get used as often as the regular firebreath but out of curiosity has anyone in the history of RS tried to figure out the rates for how often KBD does each of his different breath attacks?

I was soloing KBD earlier today and I read up a little from Tip.It's KBD monster hunting guide and it said to bring along antifire potions. So I brought one along with me. But then when I got there and had drank my antifire, his breath attacks damaged me. Almost every time. I'm used to fighting blues, blacks, irons, and mith dragons with antifire pot/DFS combo and never ever taking damage from their firebreath attack because that's what the antifire+DFS combined reduces the damage to, 0. Why does Tip.It's KBD guide say to bring antifire potions when they don't do anything?
