It's because Opulent Tables dropped to a price so low that tons of people wanted to put them in their POH's for only 4k or whatever their price is rather than paying 800k or w/e for the materials. When something costs 1/200th of what it should, you can count on people demanding a lot of said item, therefore running the price back up.

I took the damage every time I looted his place until it was empty. It's only like 15 damage and you can heal that back with a monkfish. Looting Movario's storeroom after the quest doesn't require you to get the whole weights thing right.

Those are all correct. Penguins_W60 is their main chat. This. I usually go hunting every Thursday once all the locations and boundaries are found. The chat is very helpful and there's almost always a "moderator" watching the chat making sure you are in World60. Make sure you check out their thread in the RSOF with the postings of all penguin locations so you can prepare ahead of time.

Collecting blue dragon scales in Taverly dungeon with a tortoise familiar is ~350k an hour for running around in circles. *waits for Roflcopters to say this is too boring*

Slayer Helmet, Abyssal Whip, Rune Defender, Ammy of Fury, Barrows Gloves, Dragon Boots, Ring of Wealth, Bandos Chest, Bandos Tassets, QP Cape. I switch to Black D'hide Body+Chaps for tasks where I'm up against magic-based monsters. I use my DFS when I'm on dragon tasks. Then I bust out my BGS for spiritual mage tasks.

This is just an update, but my worthless dragon armor lump finally sold for 5.5m today :thumbsup:

Getting approval to 100% every day is a tedious task. I don't recommend it. I always take what's collected on a weekly basis, always right after I go do Tears of Guthix. Always bring 525k to put back in the coffers.

I won the first duel tournament I ever participated in yesterday (I just wanted to unlock the music track). World 54 is pretty much empty all times of the day from what I've heard. World 83 was busy at mid-afternoon (Pacific Coast, US) for me

Slayer points are one of the huge incentives for slayer. Once you have the slayer helmet and have bought all the useless abilities, blocked 4 tasks, the only thing to spend points on are Slayer Dart runes, basically for 35 points you get 80k. Before Smoking Kills, you couldn't block tasks, didn't get slayer points, and pretty much the tasks sucked. This just shows that great improvements on 'dead' skills can revive them altogether.

Apparently you couldn't get them from clues anymore(?) or something so they [bleep]ed up. Now they have been "re-introduced" as clue scroll rewards and should plummet. Why would I spend time training 3 levels of the skill I hate most... -.- Because: 1. Farming is profitable, you take like 15 minutes every 2 hours to get xp for it, allows time for real life stuff 2. You want Varrock Armor 3 correct?

If 400-500k an hour is too slow for you, then you have a problem. At your lvl thats very decent. Too slow buying the harpoons. Aviansies are crap. You're crap. So wait, I can pay for a Spectral Shield entirely with unfinished Maple Longs? :shock:

I've been looking at buying one of these recently and I've noticed that the Arcane and Spectral are on the decline according to the GE Database and the Elysian and Divine seem to be holding their value. Does anyone have a rough guess as to the street value of these shields? I kinda want to get 99 fletching from making maple logs into maple longbow (u) because that seems to be a great way of making junk to buy expensive stuff while at the same time getting a skillcape...I'm especially interested in the Spectral Spirit Shield though, it's +30 magic defense looks incredible when combined with armadyl chest+plateskirt.

Don't use prayer potions, use monkfish. Also, high melee and range defense chest and legs are way more useful than Proselyte armor. Pick up bones and hides, don't bury anything.

Dragonfire Shield is not 'junk' for slayer. It's only useful against any dragon tasks you may have but dragon tasks make you a lot of cash if you melee them w/Slayer Helmet. Also, the Firebreath special it uses it like a guaranteed 25 damage to non-dragon foes. It takes only a few minutes to recharge it all the way. That's why you use mithril armor, because it's so much cheaper.

Don't be lazy, just get the friggin' levels.

No you'd just end up messing up your sleep schedule because 14.6 hours is a wack amount of time and each day the picking times would be later and later if each fruit tree took exactly 14.6 hours to grow. You're better off checking your trees at 4pm every day or something.

It doesn't always take 14.6 hours. It varies. Srsly, check your fruit trees at the exact same time everyday and you won't have to worry about it at all.
