  1. You say that, and yet I find myself unable to believe it.
  2. I beg to differ. It is not entirely hegemony, but a mix of the two. Sure, it may be more dungeoneering (I'd say it's a 75-25 mix), but that 25% hegemony really makes a difference. Decisions you make and actions you take clearly affect the nations you back and your future prospects. You get a real feeling like something is going on at a much grander scale, and you are indirectly affecting it despite being just one person. It appears that you are pretty much the only one who sees it like there aren't any hegemony elements at all. It looks to me like you are simply nitpicking to try to get under Archi's skin, when you are complaining about a game which you aren't even playing and which everyone else seems to enjoy.
  3. Well it's meant to be a happy medium between classic D&D with it's 300 pages of rules and freeform.
  4. Do I smell a Labrynth reference? And Hex, we never really had more than two games alive at the same time anyway. Space includes a lot of hegemony like elements regardless. Dungeoneering is dungeoneering. They're different enough that you could like one while disliking the other. Although in your case, you just seem to hate Dungeoneering games regardless, which kind of throws me to the conclusion that maybe you should give up complaining, since you aren't going to change much.
  5. To my immediate left? Ironically, It's a hammer I keep in my mattress in case of zombie apocalypse...
  6. Okay Archi, no problem. Channel is up, #Dungeons3.
  7. He appears to be away with real life matters. I'll start this up in around half an hour+however long it takes me to set up the logging and get onto my laptop. Funny thing, though. I relied on that laptop for a year and a half, and treated it like crap (By which I mean I tried to play Dwarf Fortress on it), and then I got this PC and thought I could finally give it a rest, but now I find myself relying on it just as much. Poor thing.
  8. Okay then. Goodbye.
  9. I have to eat soon. If Archi doesn't feel like running Space (Entirely justified, given the situation) when I get back then I'll run dungeoneering. Bear in mind that if I run tonight, tommorows session will be either short or non existant. It just feels kind of like I'm barging in and replacing him unless he actually makes the announcement, something I really don't want to do.
  10. You are not good at quitting. The post was literally two pages ago.
  11. Errr...?
  12. If space is on, I wont be. If iit isn't, then *Maybe*.

Well, like I always say, real life has the priority. If it calls, you need to answer the metaphorical phone. Best of luck.

Never mind, real life matters can't be helped. Hope the situation disarms itself.
  15. Session is up, #Dungeons2. Second post has been updated with a world map.

Loving that station. How many weapon slots does it have?

Double post, but we need a name for the base that is now built. Any suggestions?

I think they're cool, but it's not something I would get behind right away. You'll need to do a lot of designing to make sure it's worth the number of resources it will invariably take.

Try not to die. If you need anything transported, just shout.
  20. Friday/wednesday/sunday, I suppose.
  21. Seraphi replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
I'm not the close combat type, so I shall just manage the resources.
  22. Seraphi replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
I'd love to, but I have no direct combat capabilities. No weapons, no experience, and I'm an engineer to boot, so I'll have to go ahead and decline that. Instead, I'll make some busywork with our resource space management issue.
  23. Seraphi replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
Excellent. I'll just sit on the ship and keep an eye on the scanners.

Riiight. I'll see if I can be of any assistance when the session begins. Is the Unity nrearby?
  25. I'll likely run a session after space today. I'll be on my laptop, so I should be good for longer than 3 hours this time (This chair can get quite uncomfortable)
