Is this build any good
Satisfied XFX user here. I've had no problems with my 8800GTS ever, apart from the fact that the G80 chip runs hot. Going to be picking up a VaporX 5770 in the coming months, anyway. I've never used an XFX ATi card, so the story may be different there. The build is pretty decent overall, but the graphics card could struggle a little at anything over 1680*1050 game depending. Don't expect to run anything brand new maxed out. If you're just playing Source games, you should be set. Also, Home Premium is sufficient.

RS - downloaded data volume per hour
Don't underestimate the amount of data you will need. Gaming consumes minimal bandwidth, but you can quite easily rack up between 150 and 300MB of usage per day by browsing alone. Even if you're only going to be playing RuneScape, checking email and using Facebook, I would recommend paying for 2GB as an absolute minimum. That way, you'll have some kind of safety net if you do go over your 1GB. NetMeter is a useful tool to check how much bandwidth you're using. Download the second file on that list if you're interested.

Maybeshewill - Accept and Embrace Sing the Word Hope is definitely better than Not for Want of Trying.

Best bass player?
Technical skill and musical ability alone do not make a musician.

Stupid Band Names
Spangle call Lilli line is a pretty bad name, but it's so catchy.

Bangs. The tale of a young mans journey.
I have a worse background than this kid and people don't like me because of it. I guess I could make myself like this ~ironically~.

Browser of choice?
A disappointing number of Opera users. I expected there to be a few more so we could have something like a little Opera users club.

Browser of choice?
Opera. I've used all of the major web browsers, but Opera remains my absolute favourite. I've been using it for about a year and a half now.

Is this a good computer?
...and I just realised I worded my post terribly up there, making me look stupid. What I meant to say was "for the average end-user, there is no reason to specifically go for Intel over AMD." My Athlon X2 7750 is a pretty nice CPU and it has served me well for over a year now, gaming and all.

Manga/Anime Discussion
I've lost my anime spark. I have only really ever kind of sort of liked anime anyway, but I've got no enthusiasm at all any more. The more I tell myself to watch anime, the less inclined I am to actually do so. I guess I shall just amble through something relaxing, like the third season of Aria. Eeeh.

Your average end-user is hardly going to notice any difference.

My songbook.
You are quite good for your age, but the lack of maturity does show. You've definitely got the potential to really grow up and write fantastic lyrics; my biggest criticism right now is that they are all kind of samey, and some of them are quite cliché and cheesy. I think if you changed up your themes and styles a little more, you would really be on the path to becoming a decent lyricist. Keep it going.

Today...
Heh, really? I didn't know this. Well, I sometimes get people asking me to say things in Japanese if they know that I can speak it, somewhat; but I wouldn't term it "impressive" by any means. I can't think of a more productive way to spend time if you're not a social person other than learning a language, playing an instrument or reading - let's face it, some people are never social even if they try to be; I think trying to be social often causes more insecurity than actual positive cognitive advances. Maybe people aren't quite as easily impressed here. I never really get a chance to use Japanese offline anyway, so I tend to get all nervous and completely cloud over when someone asks me to say something.

MONO - Com(?) A contender for the best post-rock song ever, maybe.

Google Buzz
I think Twitter can be quite useful if you're a musician, company or just someone that has a life interesting enough to read about. I had an account there and kept it for a month before deleting it, mostly out of pure laziness. My life isn't also very interesting; updates consisted of "playing this game," "watching this show," et cetera. The fact that I also quite like my anonymity these days is another factor - the only social networking site I really use is Last.fm, and I keep stuff ambiguous on there. I really don't see the need for another Twitter/Tumblr clone, though.

memory + hard drive = enough power?
I have always used Samsung and Corsair respectively. I've had no problems with either of those brands.

The songs that bring you a bit of Nostalgia
so...yesterday? :? One or two jokes about my youthful appearance is enough. :V Sonata Arctica is another band; they bring me back to a couple of years ago when I used to be in a "band" with some friends. I had not been playing guitar for very long and we made an attempt to cover Blank File... yeah, draw your own conclusion from that.

Silly fears
Agreed with talking on phones. If I'm the only one at home, I will ignore the phone completely. I swear, I am never ever having a landline when I move out.
