You know I can't help but think this is somehow related to sailing.

Heck, I would pay someone to take my account, but only if they could wipe my memory of having ever played runescape. Not because I dislike runescape but because the best times I ever had on runescape were back when I was just starting.

The random doors that players can't access are probly just Jagex bookmarking content they havn't released yet. They have to put the things somewhere because if you havn't noticed space is becoming a premium on the world map.

perhaps Jagex could let players who have pure essence trade it to a npc who would turn it into rune essence and give them X amount of money (X being the difference between pure essence and normal at the time)

Why are dragon claws more expensive then they should be? Because they're pretty much like a rich pkers dream come true. Think about it, no quest requirements, no defense requirements, cheaper then an ags.

Can't be haunted mine, I did that quest recently and there is no corpse, giant ribcage, or air bubbles.

Please don't tell me that I'm the only one who is lagging on runescape right now. When I right click it always seems to take a second for the menu to appear. The whole thing just seems downright laggy which runescape shouldn't be with my computer.

FML... Havn't gotten them blocked yet.

If you really want a cheap bandos item that is still sort of useful you could get bandos boots.

For the Karamja diary I need to become a champion of the fight pits, the only problem is that all those guys in the fight pits are like 138 combat with uber good gear. Is there any way around this fact? Do only two people need to be in the fight pits for it to be considered an active game?

^^Some people might buy them just to have a placeholder for their cash. Like the people who have so much money they have multiple stacks of it. I would guess that currently there are about 1000-1500 active p hats. Not counting accounts that have gone completly inactive.

No I'm not saying that this was a pivatol role in the life of Fred but he still just wanted to show others what he had done. What if Fred wasn't even trying to gloat or brag? What if he just wanted to show people that he endured countless hours of slaying and had finally aquired the cape that he thought was the coolest in the game? ...And I fixed the one John in the second sentence. Give me a break I was tired when I wrote this.

If you read almost any thread about a certain accomplishment you will almost certainly find people who say "lol nerd" or "wow no life". But you know what, why? Take "Fred" for example. Fred gets good grades in school. Fred spends time with his friends. Fred is polite and stays out of trouble. But also Fred likes playing games, and on an average day Fred will spend three hours playing Runescape. One day, after long months or even years of hard work Fred gets his goal of 99 slayer. Fred os so proud that he takes a picture of it and posts it on a thread on an online community, perhaps even Tip It. Fred goes to bed, happy and with an all around good feeling knowing that his long slog to 99 has finally come to an end. The next day Fred rushes to his computer to check his thread and you know what the first thing he sees is, someone who says "Why is this an accomplishment slayer has no use after 90." Undaunted Fred continues to read. The second post is similar. "Wow you must have no lifed a ton" Fred is devastated, he begins to feel like his hobby for the last few years was a total waste of time and even though there would be posts on his thread denouncing the nay-sayers with arguments like "Slayer is one of the hardest 99's to get" Fred is still not feeling like it was worth it. Or you could look at Jack, Jack is similar to Fred in the sense that he is a good person who just likes playing Runescape. One day he decides that he really wants to make a cool video about Runescape. The problem is that he dosn't know the first thing about video editing. A long while later Jack has become a self taught director, he spent countless hours searching the internet for ways to get certain effects into his video or how to get just the right crop. Jack even spent money on this, buying software to make his hobby possible. When Jack is finally done he puts his masterpiece on youtube and the next day, people bash him for having an Ags in his video, saying things like "Rich noob you probly merched for that" or "wow man get a life this must have taken forever". Jack now feels the same way as Fred, like he wasted his time on his hobby. So I ask you, why do people do this? They have no connection to Jack or Fred, they don't even know them nor will they ever recognize each other if they passed in the street and yet they still went out of their way just to say how they think they wasted their time. Why can't they just not post, knowing that someone they will never meet is happier because of it.

Okay, I'm not usually a critic of Jagex, I mean come on there is no way I could run a multi-million dollar company and there is no way that any one of us could, but man...this is an abomination, an utter catastrophy. I mean I don't want to appear to be just another flamer, but this update sickens me. They pay people to shut down a thread that has to do with a MINI-game, yes a miniature game. A game that is not of the average size. A Miniscule, distraction from the rest of the game. Jagex would rather pay these people to sift through the RSOF shutting down mini-game threads then paying them to just take 5 minutes a day to walk around w2 GE and ban the merchant clans, and plus I'm willing to bet that at least some of the recruiters une type bots to get their message across. Oh and another thing that really makes me truely angry is that there are so many problems piling up and yet Jagex is taking no bold actions. Back when RWT was a major issue Jagex was willing to make a stand no matter the cost. They were determined to fix their game and they did just that. Now however, they seem to be unwilling to truely make a change, an actual, bold stand against all the problems with the game. It seems they would rather dance around the hard to fix problems and shove bland, hyped up updates down our throats week after week. All in all if things are to start improving, Jagex will need to be willing to loose members. The time has come for Jagex to deliver to the community as a whole, not a few hate filled posts. Sorry if I seem like just another flamer...

Aww jeez, I really wish I could change my name. I mean come on, I was like 10 or something and I thought dragons were cool. When "dragon" was taken (shocking, I know.) I choose the option that seemed the least confusing to me.

The problem is that since these things have been going on for so long (think back to when the last time fishing was updated) that Jagex just thinks that since it got this far without a total meltdown it should keep on going without any problems.

Why not, at the end of knight waves, you can choose which stat the prayers could compliment? And if you want to cgange you could just go talk to king arthur?

Why couldn't new islands= New Monsters? And while I'm neutral on the sailing topic, but it would allow for some nice seamless map expansion because the current map is getting pretty clogged up. Plus it could add dozens of quests, boss lairs, and much more.
