Pros: 1.) It's a game where your skill level in runecrafting doesn't really matter (except for building barriers/playing as defence) and is more dependent on how fast your reflexes are with a mouse. 2.) Learn to become really good in one of the only games where mouse reflex skills are taken more into consideration than skill levels. 3.) It's good munny if you know what you're doing. : 4.) Make new friends. 5.) Given time, it's addictive. Cons: 1.) Running into organized teams, leading to the grim scenario of 5vs1. 2.) Being lumped in with team-mates that don't know how to play, forcing you to do all the work. 3.) Make new enemies. :ohnoes: 4.) Quitters! 5.) Sabotagers! 6.) 5050 clan chat spammers! 7.) Arrogant and loudmouthed "pros" looking down their puny noses at the other players instead of offering to teach them. 8.) Overcrowding during peak hours. For me, the minigame was worth the time I spent playing it. I'm too bored with the normal leveling up of skills in the main game, too much of a blatant grind for me.

If your all around the air altar you click on the opposing side. If 2 people on the sameish side click on the same orb, it still goes inside the altar anyway. Yeah, but if you're (for example) standing on the south side, then you can either pull from the north east or north west side, in which whoever's at the east and west sides can pull the same orbs. Sometimes when piling occurs, the orb stops moving. :x Or at least in my cases. My duo record on air as been 44 so far. (Dutch Please) and I are still looking to get 50+ with a team or something higher than 44 for duo. :( When you play with someone a lot, you eventually learn how to prioritize an orb spawn. : Because of my screen I can prioritize the farthest orbs. It's generally better to focus on scoring the closest orbs. Don't hesitate to steal an orb during cases when your partner has all 3 orbs in his scoring view. Hesitating is a nono. :ohnoes: Oh, and don't be slow to say where an orb spawns that you want brought closer, alerting them to "South" "N orb" "portal" can help. I like your avatar btw. :lol:

Tonight's screenshots. : A warm-up: A good game with 4 good people on both sides with 1 fruity each, lost air and mind, won the rest. :D Teams~ Yellow: Mega1811, Numbers, Janelxtc, one other good person (sorry, can't remember, think it was lil sunny), and the random fruitcake. Nice score Reborn! Chris, iunno but I think my old solo score on body was a measly 28. :lol: So it is something. Pinkbullet, I'm not really into 1v1, but my solo scores on air were average, around the low 30s. -pokes Walka- You look familiar. :ohnoes:

Hai. Look at my signature. I should update it, it's 1060k now. By the way Sees, it's 61 on air now as the record, ask someone named Assassin in the guild when you see him. About the stacking as Master Smither pointed out, while it's true that people tend not to play in equal terms such as having skilled players on either team, that's usually because in world 61 it's way too crowded to get the friends they want in together. It's really rare to have both teams not have beginners. Oh, and there is that bit about them being friends. Friends don't like to play against friends. It's true that a normal game in w61 is like a game of chicken if there are equal numbers of skilled players on either side, because some get nervous and feel like leaving because their morale is low. :lol: Master Smither, if you want less beginners and more skilled players in GoP, if you want to see less stacked teams, please go and petition Jagex to put up a visual tutorial. Many of us would welcome that. But the way I look at it, a game in w61 is much like playing poker sometimes. If it's only you and your friend working together, you don't know how good or bad the other three people are in your team. (Though it's usually bad.) Just have to make the best of it. Few of us rig games, rigging in the sense of 5050s or 100-0. We don't sabotage by repelling our team's orbs. (That's more likely in members though.) I've played my share of close games with scores like 49-48. I have trained my runecrafting from 50 to 80 through the guild only. When you're having a lot of fun winning or losing you don't usually notice the level ups or the incoming tokens.

Looks to me like the enemies weren't even trying, 2 are even sitting down lol...Try it in a normal not 50/50 world.. That's what it looks like, but it is on a normal world. Open the original screenshot picture, scroll all the way to the right, and look at the clan chat. It says world 61. :D I'll see you there. :ohnoes: And nice score Cup Lion! -serves tea in cup-

You have a point about the stolen orbs. Should I bother putting up 'individual' failures of orb scoring with only the scorer and no one else, and the image having a huge X on it? :o

I noticed that whenever I went into the next altar when someone was at the portal about to quit, I usually ended up being dragged out of the game with the quitter. One way to combat this is to wait for the clock in the next altar to start moving. Thats a lie and you knows it :ohnoes: They fixed the win-air-auto-win-mind glitch. Its just that they have a lot more things on their plate, GOP is a very very very very very very very-deep breath-very low priority. Id really like for them to make an option of team battles based on a setup like clan wars, where you have to have at least two people-you and someone else-in the clan chat to begin a game against another clan. Itd take care of the crowding problem. :? (As to the 5050 problem, theyre already getting a little less tokens so thats not really a problem atm. And 100/0 is booooring.)
