  1. Try being friends with uglier girls as a start. That's so blunt. But yeah Panzer, I'd agree with doomsavenger; she probably found out that you've been [bleep]ing about her.

Don't you get bored of playing guitar all day? I get bored after about 2 or 3 hours of playing all at once.

Summer just ended for us :P But in the summer holidays I basically just lie on my trampoline all day or do boring stuff. Sometimes I get to go overseas though  My friends lay with a guy under the stars for about 10 hours and they said it was an epic night, it doesn't sound homo to me.

  5. I started listening to "Beautiful" on youtube and I thought it was his voice in the intro and went  WTF It just reminds me of his old stuff, I don't hate him but I don't love him. It's pretty okay :)

What's a good book by a female author? (Apart from anything by Adeline Yen Mah)

Learning a classical piece called Why Is It So by Sigfus Halldorsson on guitar. Haven't learnt a classical piece in what feels like ages.
  8. Yeah I would've gone for the risk regardless if I were you but I forgot to say so. >_> sorry Good luck :D
  9. Uhhh hate to be a kill joy but if I were Dana I would be joking around by saying "Hey, you never know." Plus, girls constantly say stuff like ILYSFM to friends. But hey, don't listen to me. -_-
  10. Thanks for being so nice but why are you apologising? I forgot what happened; it mustn't have been too bad or I would have remembered. Don't sweat it.

No. The real question is why do so many people like Twilight? Hell, I'll add in another. Why do so many people like Naruto? People like Twilight because of the intense action and the beautifully written relationship between Edward and Bella. It's also very realistic and Edward sounds hot I dunno about Naruto, I think it's something to do with those ninja headbands.

Why do so many people like Pendragon?
  13. Even if they're foreign and haven't ever learnt English/recently just immigrated from non-English speaking country? Then they should learn to speak the damn language before moving there. I think that's pretty stupid to expect every foreigner to learn English; I'm pretty sure there are lots of people who move into non-English speaking countries that don't bother to learn the native speaking language there.
  14. Nononononononononono. DON'T cut it. It looks awesome, keep it keep it.   Keep it like that.

Mainstream.. You name two artist who haven't even released a single CD as "mainstream". Wale & Kid Cudi have only released mixtapes. B.I.G. on the other hand is/ was a "mainstream" rapper. I like Aesop Rock's voice. He has a unique sound. Does being a mainstream rapper make them less talented than a rapper that hasn't released a CD as mainstream or something?
  17. It's pronounced 'batch-ree' in New Zealand. :S But I call it the other way because it sounds better imo.
  18. Oh yeah, I LOOOVE Modest Mouse, the problem with my Last.FM is that it doesn't get the plays I get on my iPod when I am on the go because I manually load the songs on to my iPod.... Also, love the sig, Rage Against the Machine are amazing. Did you ever check out Tom Morellos solo stuff as the Nigh[bleep]chmen I think he is called? Also, Zack De La Rocha did his own thing too which I really enjoyed, I think his new duo band is called One Day as a Lion. Check them both out, you might like them. Personally, I like Zack's thing more but that is just me. What is your fav Rage album? Mine would have to be Evil Empire. I see you havent been here long. (Kinda inside joke) And Self Titled is their best. Try out The Mars Volta. I think you made yourself a new friend :P
  19. first of i never said he was serious, second dont ever suggest that i dont play guitar. music is my life and ive been playing sience i was 11 years old.. Don't worry, think he was directing that to me but next time someone doubts that you play guitar, why give a [cabbage]? If you do then you do, no point trying to convince someone online that you play guitar. I assume you're all talking about the motion that resembles a pull off when you're tapping. You should probably have "almost clean" in this case, but yeah, it works on clean as well. It just sounds a lot "more" when it's distorted. I had problem with pinched harmonics in the beginning too, just keep practicing. And like someone else said, dig deep with your plectrum and thumb when doing them. Are you supposed to put your pick on a slight angle when picking a pinch harmonic? Because I tend to turn my hand slightly to the right more when I'm picking it, so I'm basically picking with the pick 'sideways' instead of picking normally. (uhhh hope that made some sense...) Or are you supposed to pick like normal?
  20. Yeah, my dad plays the harmonica and he's hecka awesome.
  21. If you thought he was being even a tiny bit serious with that list, I find it hard to believe you actually play guitar. The only one I thought could've been true was the metronome thing because I never play with a metronome. The rest I just skimmed over >_< But yes I do play guitar (mainly classical though and my teacher tells me not to play with a metronome.. uhhhhh. :S) Press down hard just before the bridge, make sure you're pressing hard and have it right before the bridge, doesn't work as great when your hand is right in the mf part.

Only about 5 people total at my school have actually taken the really hard math, that is how hard it is. 5 people out of the entire history of your school? And what's so hard about it, was it written for university level students or something?

Have you ever heard of/vsed a girl named Maxie Ouyang at badminton? Or Charmaine (her sister)? Maxie is one of my good friends and she's like the 6th best in New Zealand overall at badminton and she basically plays everywhere. Maxie plays for Manuatu amirite? (or did) We used to play against them every year in Napier/Hastings, ask her if she knows Tegan Weston (my sister), I think she will. I'm not sure she would know who I am, I'm not pro like that going to all those tournaments :P But my sister does. Yeah! Manawatu. :) I'll ask her tomorrow, I wonder what excuse I'll come up with if she asks me how I know Tegan. :|
  24. I basically play anything but mainly metal-ish. (I'm a classical and electrical guitarist) I can get pinch harmonics when my guitar is really distorted and on the metal setting (e.g when I'm playing Laid To Rest), but it's hard for me to get a pinch harmonic when I'm on other settings. Do pinch harmonics work on a clean/almost clean setting or does it have to be completely distorted? It's not that I'm having hard tapping the correct notes for 'Midnight' or anything, it's just that it sounds odd and I wanted to know the amp settings for it; if tapping works with distortion.. how does he get that clean sound yet still tap? -.- But I'll check out cryin :) thanks. And wtf @ leaving standby switch on at all times?! Why?!
