Some bad news - I'm considering going to solo TDs. Our partnership on TDs is... no longer viable. Nah, I'll still duo with you if you want to, or even duo soloing TDs :P, but I need to get my Void ranged helmet first, and then I can try soloing it. Just gotta hope they don't attack me with range when I pray with mage when I go in. ^_^ So, yes. Congrats on your 95 attack by the way. Only, what, 5 or 4 more million exp to go?

So, I can play RS, but it's extremely laggy, and I can only be connected for a maximum of 3 hours a day and 18 hours a week... See you the weekend after next, I suppose. :(

So, I've decided to solo Bandos, and after looking at some guides, I think I could do it. However, I'm not entirely sure whether my levels are entirely high enough, so I'd like some opinions. Also, which godsword would be the best for GWD? I've heard SGS is the best, but again, I'd like some opinions.

Dibs on Mango. (If I don't get it, I'm going to go for Don Quixote.) This looks to be a good update, but as Jard and others have mentioned - why haven't they assigned an unique ID for each of the username? It is bad, but it could be possible that doing this would require a overhaul of the entire code. I remember my ICT teacher showing me an godawful database where the code was terribly written, with relationships all over the place, etc. He pointed out it would have been better to start from scratch with this, because sorting out the problems would have taken far too long to be worthwhile. Maybe this is the case, we don't know. However, from a purely technical point of view, I'd have liked the engine to be modular. Loads of work, but it pays off in the long run.

Looks fantastic. I've always been the most interested in the Game Engine team, I personally think that's where the most interesting line of work is.

Probably a bug if you dismissed your bunyip in your house, then summoned your Ice Titan, as the screenie says. Have you reported it as a bug to Jagex?

Meh, I'd recommend 99 smithing as your second 99. It is truly hawt, believe me. Also, stop slacking and get your thieving up! Otherwise, I'd have to train Thieving with you in PP, and you don't want that, do you?

Oh, I was speaking in terms of quests, but yes, I can see where you're coming from, in terms of skills. To be adding weapons that requires 80 or even 90+ combat skills would be hugely overpowered, unless Jagex could balance it somehow.

Actually, I would have to say yes - there are so many things that Jagex could draw inspiration from, such as books, culture, and so on. It's a matter of thinking outside the box. And on the topic of upgrades - it has been dry recently, but maybe it wil pick up soon? All we can really do is wait and see.

I actually agree with Swampjedi here, I've actually had a go at programming in VB.NET, and I was talking to my ICT teacher about programming, where he showed me a relatively small project, but it had a few hundrends of lines in it. It took him a long time to FULLY debug it, and then there could be more bugs if he changed a line, etc. If we applied this to Jagex, then that's probably a few millions of lines of code, right there, and they can't possibly debug everything with all possible variables, and so on. It annoys me when people say Jagex should test their software more thoroughly - they are doing it very thoroughly already. Actually, there are some exceptions like Bruno's pointed out - that was a major bug.

Another possible option is buying both diamond tips and bolts on the GE, enchant then sell them. That could work, but I'm not 100% on the price, but I'd expect it to be a bigger loss than just buying the bolts outright.

That would be nice actually. I've always found the 30 room limit a bit restricting. I know it's probably meant to save on memory limits and that, but maybe a room limit could be possible since they are moving their data on the new servers after all... Hope it gets released. :D

Yeah, I've noticed that generally, all interviews from Jagex are either using old answers or evading the question with some generic answers. But then, I think they don't want to spoil the surprises for us. Well, that's what I'd like to think : , but it's more likely to stop over-hyping the new updates. Some interviews of different people would be nice actually, such as D U X pointed out, with Paul, leader of the artist team or programming teams. Sometimes it's nice to know about HOW updates are done, not WHAT updates are coming.
