  1. But we're not just talking about items that cost millions! What about full rune sets? This is every armour, weapon and rare in the game, if I'm not mistaken.
  2. I am struggling not to fill this post with expletives. Jagex, after all these limitations and restrictions, people found ways around them. This will not change anything other than to piss off the honest merchant (NOT manipulator) and those who have some use or another for these items. Are normal merchanters bad? No. Are manipulators bad? Yes. This seems to be an effort to make the merchant extinct. I'm fuming.
  3. Read the Bounty Hunter rules. You can only take one piece of armour for each part of your body at each point of the combat triangle. For example, you could take in Verac's brassard (melee torso armour), a black dragonhide body (Ranged torso armour) and a splitbark body (Magic torso armour), but no more torso armour. You can bring in a maximum of 4 wieldable weapons, and up to 1,000 of each type of stackable ammunition (runes, arrows, bolts, etc.). If you need to restock your ammunition, it is a quick trip to the banker north of Mandrith. You must be able to wield or wear any combat item in your inventory. You cannot take in any items that are unrelated to combat, so you're fine to take food, potions, etc. in, but cannot bring logs, spades and so on. You cannot bring any coins into the Bounty Hunter crater. After doing some research, I did some calculations... Sara Helm Sara Body Sara Legs Sara Kite Green D'Hide Coif 0 Green D'Hide (G) Body Green D'Hide (G) Chaps Wiz G Hat Wiz G Robe Wiz G Skirt Rune 2h Rune B'Axe Rune Warhammer Rune Pickaxe 1000 Death 1000 Chaos 1000 Nature 1000 Cosmic 1000 Addy Arrows 1000 Mithril Arrows Wiz Ammy (T) Str Ammy (T) Makes a Grand Total of... 7866,000 Coins. 7.8 Million COins in one round of Bounty Hunter. Even with Jagex's new restrictions of only one of each item, there's still massive RWT'ing going on, and this is part of why. Why are trimmed items even allowed inside? Seriously. Say it takes 5 Minutes for a fight and the penalty. 12 fights an hour, 288 a day. 288*7.8M makes about 2265M. They can still transfer over 2 Billion Coins for one person in a day. And that's just in F2P! God. And what some people don't seem to understand is that with the new PvP coming out, fewer people will be playing Bounty Hunter, making it that much easier to transfer. What do we do about this? We can start by having trimmed items not allowed in BH. After that, I'm not sure what else can be done. -CMP
  4. Hmm, seeing how Jagex loves to play with us, give us puns... Weak "link" in the armour? Could that have something to do with a chainbody? What is a chainbody weak to? Let's see... Stab-(81) Slash-(93) Crush-(98) Magic-(-3) Range-(82) Summoning-(50) What happens if you try to Blitz it or God Spell, or Fire Wave? Sorry if this has already been posted.
  5. Ah, I guess. I added a bit more in the second suggestion. To moderators who may see this, if you feel the need to lock this, please delete it I don't think this needs to clutter up the board.
  6. Hey Tip.It Crew! Well, after seeing the General Discussion board cluttered with Grand Exchange topics (Im not even going to count) I came up with a possible solution: a Market Discussion Forum. It could be a subforum of Marketplace forum and it could be used to talk about anything about the Grand Exchange, items going up or down in value, et cetera. Not only would this clear up the General Discussion forum, it would likely bring some attention to the little-used Marketplace forum. On to my second suggestion about the General Discussion: I think there should be fewer topics. Also, filling up the General Discussion forum is many locked topics about PVP, Dragon Platebodies (that one's a favorite -.- ) and of course, just random things that people don't put in the right forum. I suggest two parts to this: having designated topics about certain issues. I also think that moderators should delete more topics. What good is a locked topic besides taking up space? Thanks for listening, CMP :ugeek:
  7. possibly have an option to only receive messages from friends?
  8. This is mostly for F2P, seeing as you can get faster xp and money easily in P2P. Thanks for all the great comments! -CMP
  9. What I used to do was say (selling noobs 40 gp each) the grammar was a bit worse :-# and when they offered 40 gp, I'd do the same. I'd accept, and they'd decline. They'd say "Noob!!X11shiftevelevennoob!" There, you got your Noob. ;)
  10. If you're just looking for xp and nothing else, I'd suggest doing bandits to 90 str, then check out muggi's guide about Monkey Zombies viewtopic.php?f=113&t=751956&st=0&sk=t&sd=a note that this will not make you money, will possibly lose you some. If you're looking for charms, money, etc...do slayer. End of story.
  11. If you're so bored, why do you even play? But if you want something fun to do ingame, I'd say Fist of Guthix is the way to go.
  12. Adamant Platebodies are 36 loss per, that would lose you 4.5m. The only problem is that they're a bit hard to get. I don't know much about the lunar spells, seeing as I'm F2P.
  13. Seeing as you're proud of it, I'll give it a 5/10. I don't have 1000 total (Oh, I'm F2P) but congrats to you. As for the 50 cooking...that's not that great, and I would have been mad if you thought 50 cooking warranted a thread. But, good job. PS, to all those who say .0000000001/10 or whatnot, what are you trying to accomplish?
  14. Unless you have the guts to merchant and possibly lose money, I don't think so.
  15. Well, in the Grand Exchange guide in General Guides (http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=the_g ... change.htm) it says the exchange can be used to buy and sell any tradeable item on Runescape. What about burnt items? They're tradeable, but not GE-able. Sorry that this is in the wrong section, but there's not really a place to put it...
  16. Do these villager items actually sell, or are they just for junk trading?
  17. Hello Rune Tips! Today's class is called Anchovy Pizzas 101. I will be your teacher, Mister CMP. THE BASICS You buy plain pizzas and Cooked Anchovies and put them together to make Anhcovy Pizzas! Requirements 55 Cooking Some money, preferably 400k or more, though you can do it at anything over about 100k. Step I At the Grand Exchange, buy the same number of Plain Pizzas and Cooked Anchovies. (Use up as much money as you see fit) Buy them both at Medium price, though they will likely not come immediately. Step II (Optional) Turn your mouse settings ingame to one button. This will help so that you do not eat the pizzas or anchovies. You can do this in the spanner/wrench interface. Step III Withdraw 14 Pizzas and 14 Anchovies. Right-Click (Left-Click if you followed Step II) on a pizza, select use, and use it on an anchovy. A "Make-X" menu should come up in the bottom, and select "All". The anchovies + pizzas should now be turning into anchovy pizzas. Step IV Once all 14 have been made, deposit the Anchovy Pizzas. Step V Repeat IV and V as much as needed until you are out of materials. Sell the Anhcovy Pizzas on the Grand Exchange for Medium price. The Numbers Pizzas made per hour: ~1750 Profit per Pizza Made: 88 GP Money per Hour: (1750*88=154000 Coins an hour!) Cooking XP per Pizza: 39 XP XP per Hour: 1750 Cooking XP per Hour: 68250. About the same as trout! I've made over 2000k from this and achieved 75 Cooking straight from 55. Important Links Anchovy Pizza GE page Plain Pizza GE page Anchovy GE page More pictures to be added soon! That concludes our class. You are dismissed.

    Sarah Palin

As for her daughter being pregnant... Ever since the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal the GOP has portrayed themselves as the party of "family values" Hmph. Seeing as Palin accepted the VP position knowing her daughter was pregnant, knowing that would come out and knowing that it would shine a bad light on Bristol (her daughter) I don't think the GOP can really continue to be the family values party. I LOL'ed IRL when Cindy McCain said she has foreign policy experience: she's right next to Russia! Also, seeing as Mt. McKinley is the tallest mountain in the US, that must also mean she has foreign policy experience with space! OMG! [/sarcasm] By the way, that was Jon Stewart The feeble attempt to lure the Hillary voters over to the Republicans was so shallow, I find it kind of insulting to women. And people are still bringing up the point: she has more Executive than the other 3 put together. No crap. She's a governor (of a very un-populous state, I might add) Biden has been a Senator for 30 years. Who's more qualified? The one who has less foreign policy experience than I do, or the one who has been around the block, has been all over the world, and knows how Washington works? Sarah Palin even said she didn't know what the VP does. Hey, at least she was honest :wall: And ROFL at whoever said Alaska was a big state.
  19. I'll be waiting until someone shows that this is safe...(not that I don't believe you...but I've been fooled so many times into clicking on something like this. On Topic: The pics look pretty cool, even though I can't really tell what they say. Once it's clear I'll run it on my Windows XP 2003 + IE8 (yeah, yeah hate on it  ) Good luck with this, CMP :ugeek:
  20. What your parents don't understand is that RuneScape is not mindless clicking. Like someone said before me, the Grand Exchange closely resembles the Stock Market, and with no real risk, other than losing your precious virtual coins. The best way to show your parents this is to get them to play the game with you, or have them make their own account. This might be hard, but if you can do it, it will help immesnsely. Show them the Grand Exchange website while you're at it :P
  21. I tried this and nothing happened. Aww, too bad. I guess it was worth a try... :?
  22. Hmm, well here goes. Also note that you can not get a second book of any of them (Strange Book, Book of Folklore or Book on Chickens) twice without dropping your first copy. http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/9216/chickenmh4.png I attempted to pickpocket a man in an F2P world to show I was in an F2P world.
  23. I s'pose the title says it all. In the Item DB it says it is used for a quest (not necessarily needed.) While that quest is members only (RFD) an F2Per can easily obtain it from searching the bookshelves of the Wise Old Man's house. If you need a picture for proof, I'll supply one. -CMP-
  24. Hmm, I gave the WOM a jug of wine (because "Dionysus" is the god of wine and parties in Greek mythology) Nothing. The closest I can come to figuring out why Jagex would call him Dionysus is because he has a partyhat...? Anyone tried to give him a bottle of wine? I'm F2P and can't.
  25. \ A few 100,000? I don't think so. I think if we got 3000 it would be fairly accurate. OT: Thanks everyone!
