  1. ye i quote myself im kool kookie
  2. I've heard you have to post a certain number of times to be able to post in some places and it's highly moderated so posts get deleted a lot just go find out for yourself like he said, this thread will probably get locked/moved
  3. yeah I suggested this on the last page too, actually think it's a decent idea now. @Jebrim I think you're understating the value of getting 200m in a skill before other people do because look at this thread, the only reason people know who SUOMI is is because he's doing something before anyone else, same with the almighty zezima
  4. only way to seriously change up the ranks at 200m is to make XP go past 200m, which isn't going to happen (and SHOULDN'T), so what would you suggest? the competition has to end somewhere maybe you could make it so rank 1 is ALL the people with 200m in that skill, and has a link to a list of all the people with it that shows the order they got it in? would be pretty arbitrary but that's all I can think of to change anything it was so much simpler when 200m XP in a skill was considered insane zezima is pronounced zeh-ZEE-muh tbh
  5. at least eating 140 hotdogs only took 2 minutes, not 30,000 hours  ngl, I have 250 days played post below me, beautiful
  6. That story was great, such a perfect ironic ending. Even though life is so much easier (easier meaning very easy to stay alive, unless you had the great misfortune of being born in certain different countries than I) for many of us than it ever was in human history, it's very apparent to most observers that in general people aren't feeling any happier than they used to. I think this goes to show that trying to make the world "a better place" and contributing to society is a futile gesture in some ways because what people really want is happiness, not an easy ride. Therefore, people who nolife Runescape, the Massively Single Player Online Career brought to you by JageX, aren't being the evil scumbags who need to stop being slaves online and be a slave IRL that we sometimes think they are. EDIT: and I hope the mods don't swoop in because I feel this is very relevant to 200m all skills. @VIv wouldn't Ayn Rand be hatin hard on people like Suomi? That's what I gathered from reading Atlas Shrugged (don't bother reading that shit, it's such a tl;dr with a fantasy philosophy and impossibly perfect characters and a female protagonist who sleeps with three perfect men lol) I'm not sure that people being completely motivated for themselves and playing video games all day ends up benefiting society in the end.
  7. I'm not sure that new players are even aware of that problem with the hiscores, nor would it matter to them much until they actually got hooked to the game and actually want to compete (lol the only competition in runescape is who can no life the most...). Getting 99's is also getting easier and easier all the time, so that's encouraging for the newbies.
  8. No, but if you play Runescape to the extent that pretty much anyone on front page of hiscores overall does, then you probably don't have the time for a job or go to school. Not talking about casuals who only play rs for like 3 hours a day. I'm jealous, I'm majoring in something (computer science) that I have little to no interest in and can't think of anything else I'd rather study lol...
  9. Looks like you've only been in contact with pissy, selfish little [bleep]es then. Feelsbadman.png Edit: IM SIK OF HIM BRUV HE PLAYZ RUNESCAPE AND DUZNT BUY ME SHOES Yup. This article makes me sick: http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/04/opinion/bennett-men-in-trouble/index.html How much runecraft gp/XP is cannoning cave crawlers? About 7? That's really not that bad...
  10. A NEET, specifically people who are NEETs for a very long time. "NEET is a government acronym for people currently "not in education, employment, or training". It was first used in the United Kingdom but its use has spread to other countries, including Japan, China, and South Korea. People under the designation are called NEETs (or Neets). In Japan, the classification comprises people aged between 15 and 34 who are unemployed, not engaged in housework, not enrolled in school or work-related training, and not seeking work." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEET
  11. That wasn't very classy. And in case you haven't heard, **SPOILER ALERT** we're all going to die and be forgotten eventually. That's a good point. If you can get away with being a leech on society, then by all means go ahead and run laps on a pixelated obstacle course or build mahogany tables and remove them completely from existence immediately after for sixteen hours a day. Whatever makes you feelgoodman. Such a strange thing to be addicted to though, isn't it? o i am not a classy person tbh imo irl ffs ftw lol brb afk I was speaking in terms of the average video game addict, who ends up playing excessively well beyond their teens and into their 30's, which you can clearly see happening now to many men. That's what girls are always complaining about, all those "damn manchilds" l0l
  12. Like Meamzed touched on, the worst part of DG is the social aspect. It's the first and only skill that requires you to group together to get the best XP rates, and most scapers are no doubt used to the solitary gameplay of overworld RS. So when they get thrown together, it can cause a lot of stress and anger. If the solo DG XP rates were equal to slightly lower than group rates, I'd definitely prefer doing that, and most people would agree with me, I think.
  13. Well, someone has to be the drain on society. That's what taxes are for. Playing RS super-mega-ultra seriously amounts to willfully signing yourself out of humanity's gene pool. At least the "productive" members of society have that privilege. But it's not like people play RS for decades, it's just a temporary drug addiction that people will eventually get too tolerant of to enjoy anymore and perhaps move on and get a job and, god forbid, a family. Or maybe they'll find a new drug and keep doing so until they whither away and die. Riding a bike for an hour a day doesn't make anything better lol. It's still leisure.
  14. I'm talking about donating money to Suomi even after 200m all skills I understand wanting to see a guy do something you could never do (or stand doing), but why give money to him after that L
  15. no, yes, no. answering anything else is madness
  16. this is like giving a million dollars to a billionaire why...
  17. someone make a noob rant about this update please <3:
  18. do you often reflect on the cycle of water through the world when you pee into the bottle you just drank out of do you use the black area of your swiftkit window to see your reflection to shave more efficiently damn girl you fine. (you actually do look decent  )
  19. well red dragons would be a very mediocre task but I'd do it
  20. there's a difference between quitting and taking a break because RL got serious
  21. but he will burn out... when he gets 200m all skills  and to be fair suomi, there aren't many reasons to completely quit a game besides burning out (I'm not talking about just playing less because you went to college, I mean quitting forever) anyway it's funny how we talk about "quitting" rs as if it's a career, not just another game that gets boring eventually of course I thought of that, there are many better things to do than play RS such as playing skyrim or with yourself
  22. Best idea I've ever heard. That would really make everyone happy and be more fair. Double XP weekends should be made into an item that you can toggle on/off whenever you want and last, say, 25 hours.
  23. so is dominion tower just XP waste for 200m all?
  24. 0/10, get 30mil untrimmed then i might be impressed good job
  25. really agree with this guy, the fact that the refer-a-friend program exists at all makes me feel stupidly inefficient because I'm getting 10% less XP than I could be getting. but I refuse to real world trade for XP. guess I'll be dungeoneering
