  1. -1 ... mining ftw \ On topic: I ignore every combat minigame, with the exception of Stealing Creation (although I only skill in there  ) Combat takes way too much preparation.
  2. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! 70 Planetkilling :D !! You can now use *duh duh dunnn* (über) Dragon Herring on greatest Trees in the forest. Gratz, First 70 is a huge deal, we need cake [or pie (or chimpanzees :o )] Happy (belated) new years, and have fun =)
  3. Many of you guys are saying it is just a bug, not an update. Well, if it was an update, then wouldn't this still be considered a bug, because it isn't supposed to be there yet? Personally, I think it is leading up to an update, not that I think mining needs it (mining ) but instead because of just the sheer amounts of people who do want an update. People have wanted these two skills to be updated since I started playing (don't ask when, I don't remember). The only thing I hope is that you will still be able to train the skill the old fashion way if they do re-vamp it.
  4. well, I've gotten 88 -> 89 mining (mining ftw \ ) and 51 -> 52 summoning ...
  5. Well, If by best, you mean a way that can get you lots of profit, and isn't terribly slow, then you could try gold mining north-west of brimhaven and the horseshoe gold mine. I've found a good way of banking is to use the explorer ring (3) tele-port to cabbage-patch function, and then to run to draynor. Then you have you house be in Brimhaven, you teleport to house, run up to gold mine, and repeat. It sounds pretty long process typing, but it's actually pretty fast, and I've been doing it since 49 agility without having any problems with energy. There is a link somewheres in my (non-updated) blog a link to zaspeils smithing method, where I got it from. He goes alot more in-depth there. I know it's not exactly the fastest method, but it is one that I happen to like alot, and have been doing since 71 mining, and it's working quite well \ (really wanted to use one of those santa smileys)
  6. Oooo, Great job on the 2nd \ place in veldloop. You could probably waste everyone at my school, Darn fruitcakes that they are... Moving on, Wow, 45 Strength... Stop getting levels (it hurts lazy peeps like me ;) ) Just kidding. Congratz (its green this time ) hehe... I love that giant font thing. Also, about why I've been gone, I wrote like 3 paragraphs on the latest post in my blog, and I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I'm lazy -.- , so I'm not gonna put it here too. ilufyou..(consider your ending\name stolen  mwahahahahahahahahahaha)
  7. Wow, You've accomplished much in the time that I've been absent from Runescape. I don't even know where to start. You've Killed the dreaded ruffian Elvarg and got his HEAD!! (by the way, was there a destroy option??), effectively completing the hardest quest within Free-to-Play! You've gotten the abilities to Wield both weapons and armour made from runite. Probably one of the greatest experiences you feel from Runescape. I remember going around in full rune, even while running far distances, Just because it was RUNE. The RUNE. A sensation runs through your veins like the blaze of molten steel. And that was all within the last 4-5 Posts. I have over a page of details I could congratz on! But, because I'm lazy, I'll leave it at those things ;) . So, without further wasting of time, CONGRATULATIONS. Oversized font ftw? I look forward to seeing more greatness from you =).
  8. As I said there, I take NO credit for the geniusness that is that article, it was just something that I saw on a website that I've long forgotten its name, found funny, and so took a screenshot of. As I was looking through some old files on my computer, I happened upon it. Now, I know that yet again I have seemed to disappear from the face of the earth/runescape. This is for three main reasons. The first and foremost is that I am taking multiple honors (advanced) classes and one AP (college level) class, and the homework is swamping me. The second is that I got the game Spore, And it is an incredible game. Absolutely amazing. The graphics are beautiful in there own, simplistic way. The storyboard is wonderfully presented as you move from the tide pool to space, and the inclusion of the challenge to get to the center of the galaxy, while finding a way around the problem of the Grox Empire is simply awe inspiring, and something that sets your mind on a craze to complete. Then comes the third reason comes up. This is that Brisingr (also named The Seven Promises of Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Bjarstkular). It is the third book of the Inheritance Cycle. It is just a wonderful book, and although it doesn't have all of the substantial wisdom or mentally questioning questions that the second book, Eldest, had, it still was a great book, with a couple twists, and the solutions to a couple of the greater riddles within the series. Not that I'm saying that Eldest was a better book, just that it was different. Brisingr is an amazing book, and will keep me in nigh anticipation of the fourth and final book in the Inheritance Trilogy. Now back to Runescape business, unfortunately for all of the reasons above, I have only managed to be able to mine a couple inventories of ore within my free time, and so am still not finished mining the ore required to get 84 smithing. Do not worry that I shall shirk from the task ahead though, for this is just another speed bump in the road that we all must face, and how we deal with these speed bumps determine the differences in each persons very character. And now I bid you adeu, I hope to be able to be more active in the near future, But school always takes precedence over Runescape. --p.s-- Still lovin' the sig sallaste. --p.p.s-- Don't die
  9. [hide=Sallaste] [/hide] Oooo. I love it . Absolutely Wonderful. An Amazing work. Also, thanks for talking about a c4d, I was totally lost beforehand... #-o .
  10. Hey, Good luck on 99 mining!! It's a great skill, that few truly appreciate, but nonetheless one that takes a great deal of time. I read some of the above posts, and I saw The whole gold/power-mining conversation thingy. Personally, I prefer gold mining to power-mining. There are two reasons that I'm doing this. One is that I hate the feeling that I'm just wasting the ore that I get. The other is that I love smithing, and gold is great smithing Exp. But if you aren't planning on smithing it, and you don't really care about the ore... Then power-mining would probably be your best option. Hopes this helps a bit. Yet again, good luck, and I look forward to seeing your continued progress (and seeing you pass me at this rate :ohnoes: )
  11. Ja, That would be great. Just a question though, What does C4D mean? Sorry, I'm out of touch on all artistic\graphix terms :wall: . But ja, that siggy would be wonderful  .
  12. And so, with those eternal words of wisdom, I say to you... Pick yourself back up, Re-assess the situation, and send thither on your goal once more. Now on a happier note, I can't wait to see the update tomorrow. Seems promising  . Also, if you ever feel down in the dumps, Make a pencil... "disappear."
  13. Wow :o . Amazing. I will say that I the Blur you had going in your part of the collaboration, And I understand that it wouldn't quite fit with the background (and the amazing smoke effects around the legs) that thrultall put in, but it was still amazing.
  14. The blog looks promising so far, but like mentioned (and answered) above, Pictures are amazing. They are worth a thousand words... Unless those words are by J.R.R Tolkien of course... Anyways, 50 Rc with airs is great. I got 44-54 rc that way and made 1 mill just from that. \ . Good luck, with your goals, and with the continuation in blogging.
  15. Dude, your doing really good so far.. 94 Defense, That's like over half-way there :o . About how many clue scrolls have you done? Cause you seem to have some pretty decent rewards...*mumbles about crappy clue scrolls*. Anyways... Good luck on getting those final 5 levels, I'm sure you'll make it.
  16. I totally agree (except the Boring part  ). Mining Is a great skill, The only better in my opinion is smithing. Although, if you want money, train Runecrafting. I got 44-54 on air runes in f2p, and It was great. 1 mill profit easy. Just my personal opinion though
  17. Definitely. Peeps should be proud of what they work on. What they have achieved, and What they are attempting. Whether you just mined your first iron ore, or get a mining Skillcape ( ). It's what you have worked towards, and you deserve to be proud of it. The sports analogy is a great analogy, because it is very much like that. They work to be the fastest runner, or to have massively manly muscles, or to be able to shoot a ball into the net every time. I ask you this, How many peeps actually achieve those extraordinarily high standards? The average Joe won't, But he (or she) can still be proud of what he does accomplish. Whether he (or she) only takes a minute off of there mile time, or whether they get gold at the next Olympics, they can both still be proud in what they have achieved.
  18. Wow, Awesome blog dude. You've achieved Some grand levels. :o 99 Herblore :o . It seems I got in a post to late to really be able to gratz you on it...but I don't care, so... (Belated) Gratz on 99 Herblaw!!! And Good luck on a 2k total. I'm Sure your gonna make it. =)
  19. Well, I took your guys great advice and.... Mined like crazy finishing up on Sunday, Got in as much as I could on Monday, And continued like a powerhouse today. So, without further ado... 86 Mining. Thank you guys {or gals[or women(or men)]} very much for your continued support. =) Also, Ilufyou, You're like a magical poet, I mean you got 4 out of 4 words in that sentence to rhyme! O.M.K! --Edit-- I added in an image to the front of the blog, that I found on my computer from a website that I've long forgotten. For all of you lazy peeps who won't check it out there, here it is. I take NO credit for this geniusness at all. [hide=The State of Runescape][/hide] Flea Circus FTW?
  20. Good luck dude. I'm here to tell you now, as you do this, you will get discouraged, But do not quit on the goal. For when you succeed on that goal, you will feel as if you just drank the light of the moon. You'll feel like the greatest man (or woman) on earth. It will be worth every gram and every ounce of effort you put into it. My only hint of advice is to have fun while doing it. Don't focus so much on the mining that you ignore all that's going on around you. Good luck, it's a great goal, and will be a Grand achievement.
  21. I'm sorry I haven't been able to update the blog recently. I've been having lots of internet issues, on the router end and computer end. And school has just recently started up again, and I've been getting back into the swing of things. Unfortunately, I'm still about 120k experience away from a mining level, and still have to mine over 2k gold until I will start Smelting it. [hide=Ilufyou] [/hide] haha... Men-skirt ftw! I would be absolutely be honored to be in your siggy. Besides, your bloig is amazing, And the picture is wonderful as it is, no extra editing needed. =)

    Mining

This often times happens in a short term test period. Also, mining is a skill that increases in (mining) speed very slowly through levels. A one level difference isn't going to Greatly increase your average speed. But because the levels take so long to get, people start to notice the amount of time it takes to mine the ore, the longer you've been mining, Because things almost always seem faster in hind-sight. Also, Someone who is 10 levels below you may end up winning 14/21 ores, but if you continue that test, You'll notice that the skill is kinda streaky. You'll win a couple, then they will. You will also notice that often times the person with the higher mining level will get longer streaks. They will start winning more and more ores as time goes on.
  23. [hide=Lady Shahdie] [/hide] Wonderfully said. They don't understand how someone could like a skill they so greatly dislike, and are spurred on by the majority of RuneScape also disliking the skill. And so, through they're own immaturity, insult those that they don't understand.
  24. Good luck on your 1 mill goal. The first mill is definitely the hardest. If were both on at the same time, I'll donate some runite ores =).
