That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I remember at one time they tossed around the idea of a server where you could hack for all 99s or any items you wanted. They're not going to introduce microtransactions into these 2007 servers [hide]Unless they go back on their word in typical J-style :P[/hide]

1 hour of nex gear is definitely nowhere near a full 12 hours of combat stance, lol.

How would people go about generating all that coin, though? Alchemy only really gets going at level 55 Magic (buy runes from shops to train), and most activities like pickpocketing or selling stuff to a general store would take quite a bit of time. I'd guess that a market more dependent on barter trade would come into being, except for the fact that it'd rely on a pretty good community to pull off.

Imagine all those SoF bots logging into a 2007 server on release, and being purposed to their general bot duties. Ooh.

Normal/Flying typing is annoying to my OCD. There's only one pure flying Poke right? (Tornadus?) Why can't more stuff be pure flying :< Out of curiosity what happens when Tornadus uses Roost?

Mainly because there aren't any bots scrapping the highscores to throw in names to vote with, which happened during the free trade vote :P

I thought the whole point of the server was to not have any updates, much like RSC. If they actually start re-implementing updates it'd feel quite strange to me.

It'd of course be better if you could get a polypore staff/staff of light/Ahrim's staff, but I assume you're DIY so those would be much harder to get a hold of.

Black salamander is now a ranged weapon so that doesn't really fit with your mage armour. The accuracy on battlestaves is terrible; viable alternatives at higher levels are probably the bat wand (level 45), ancient staff (level 50), one of the god staves from the Mage Arena or the Toktz-Mej-Tal (level 60). Probably only the level 60 staves will be close to usable at Barrows though, due to the vast difference in tiers. Another good option is the Lightning staff 4, though you'd have to have obtained that from a promotion, and I don't know if it'd fit with your playstyle.

Yeah RS 2k13 is all about SoF and gambling, wowee almost forgot about all the content we're getting :rolleyes: Whilst I'm indifferent to whether the servers return or not, I'd rather them be implemented without any further content development. I thought that was the whole point of this exercise anyway, so I don't see why they should hire devs to regularly update the 07 version with new content?
