Hybriding penalties in the EoC mean that equipping a shadow silk hood will actually reduce the effectiveness of your platebody's ranged defence, so it's not looking good for hood :P

Nex is a lot harder, but to compensate for that I think her drop rate is like 8 times of that of the other 4 generals. Seems fair enough to me as of now.

You can run between the three skeleton spawns in the cavern and rummage each. I think it takes about 2 minutes for a respawn. In between this you can kill some of the barbarian spirits, which also have a chance of dropping the pages.

There's a bug with the score system, if you scored 1,111 only after the minigame ends (i.e. when your remaining moths are automatically converted to points) then it doesn't count for the completionist requirement. If you scored 1,111 before the game ended and it didn't knock out the requirement then you should submit a bug report or retry it, I know some people who've scored 1,113 and not been able to wear their cape.

Stat boosts are linear, yes. In fact it's pretty much a formula, for instance a shield's armour rating is level * 32 or something like that. Body armour is way lower, level * 16, legs are level * 12, and headgear level * 8. Compared to the rest of the set, shields account for about 40% of your total armour rating (lol). It feels like incredibly lazy tiering when you look at it that way.

Iron is level 10 to use, not level 1. So it's statted at level 10. And a difference of 400 LP is like, half an auto-attack.

I'd imagine that swifts would be better than Armadyl/Pernix gloves because of the doubleshot ability. Torva boots might also be better than dragon boots, unless they're completely defensive like Bandos. I'm not sure whether they'll stat Nex boots above or below Glacor boots, as the Glacor boots are still currently tier 75 in the live game but 85 in the EoC. The non-degradeable robes might look good compared to gano/virtus, and the crossbow for anyone who hates DG. If it has a special attack too, chances are it'll be extremely worthwhile. Amulets might be fun, if we get something that boosts ranged strength or gives a bigger magic damage boost than Arc stream. Otherwise I can't see them having much point. The Bandos helmet does look the most appealing, probably being an exceptional defensive helm with strength bonus, well above Neitz and a bit weaker than Torva. Anyway ETA is like 24 hours? So you won't need to stay up just yet :P Edit: Forgot about Virtus Wand! Probably the best thing to look forward to.

First thing I thought of as well. Will also miss the one with the freaky stalk eyes, both pretty unique when it came to demons. That's Tstanon Karlak. The freaky eyestalks are very, very cool, but unfortunately his huge wide-open mouth makes him look like a demented bottomdweller :P

I'd prefer if Balfrug Kreeyath still had his three faces - that look was pretty cool. Not so much Tstanon Karlak because his face looked like an evil fish, lol. At fisrt I didn't like the idea that the gap between nex gear and standard GWD gear became so small, and even less so when they boosted the tiering to level 75 for GWD. In retrospect it's not so bad, really - the difference between barrows and GWD is also so puny that I don't feel the need to ever buy Bandos/Ganodermic again. And of course the extremely gradual (and linear...) tiering system opens up the path to releasing level 85+ gear. The only problem I have is that the tiering structure is so linear that the progression is extremely boring - but that's a debate for the beta thread.

Or just a system that mutes the bots automatically. I thought that at one point they implemented an auto-mute system, but because people abused it by tricking others into saying specific keywords, it was removed.

Honestly if moderators gave a [bleep] about the game. why don't they get rid of the stupid add bots? you cant ell me that they don't see them. i have never seen a mod hanging round those bots for a minute or two banning them. You know that mods DO ban them, but they just come back, right?

Just realised that this BTS doesn't mention anything SOF/SGS related, lol. Easily the best thing written this year!
