If your character is performing the death animation, but the other guy forfeits, you still win :P If you're the last two in the Fight Pits, for instance, and your opponent leaves while you're performing the death animation, you finish the animation and then resurrect with 1 LP :P

Lagging hard on RSC. Laglaglaglag Connection lost - please wait attempting to re-establish... SUDDENLY all the ground has been turned to water, and all the NPCs are missing their bodies and are just sets of floating heads. What? Log out, maybe that'll solve the problem. Too bad, the login screen scenery has turned to water too :P Had to reload the game (goodbye 5 minutes of play time T_T) before it got fixed. I remember on my first ever load up, I saw the Jagex logo and was like "Whoa ! Cool !" (I had played their Jagex Castle minigames before - RIP Battle Thingz)

Enhanced enhanced Excalibur. Though it's not actually named that in-game, it refers to the version of Enhanced Excalibur that heals a total of 400LP with its special attack. Unlocked after completing Seers' Elite Task List.

I think it's always been that way, not too sure about that though. Getting boosted XP (+10%) as I cash in my lots of Zeal, and also getting a further boost from crossing levels.

Cashing in Zeal in batches of 100 gives you a 10% XP bonus on each exchange. Also, if you gain levels while cashing in Zeal, the game recalculates the value of each zeal remaining in that one transaction, increasing the XP you get from the Zeal in that cash-in.

I used melee straight off the bat for my very first Glacor kills, and once you actually start practicing with it, it undeniably becomes easier and definitely a lot more time-efficient (E word). I began with a melee tanking setup, switching only my staff to a melee weapon for the Glacyte phase. While it could get somewhat difficult to handle at the start, especially co-ordinating between prayer changes, the special attack, and explosions, it eventually did pay off in terms of faster kills. Once I got that road bump out of the way, I could move on the other methods of sharpening my kill speed (SS flash, turm flash, prayer flash, though some are not relevant to Kim). The idea here is that while you start out with an initially more difficult method, you eventually sharpen your own skills and reap the rewards for that in the long term, especially if your goal entails killing a large amount of Glacors for Effigies/ABS. This also teaches you metagaming skills that can be carried over to other monsters you hunt, such as TDs, Corp etc, should you want to go after a tougher boss in future, where a mistake made there is much more costly than one made at Glacors (Fairy Ring right into their room, what even is risk). Furthermore, remember that mage autocasting loses a tick every time you change target when your attack is readied, something that melee doesn't get as a penalty here. Also, you're wrong about losing "a minute a trip at absolute most". 10 seconds more on each kill means you go from 40KPH to 36, which, if you're going for ABS, is an approximate additional 3 hours of killing.
