Ok, here is my 3 cents worth of thoughts. ( im f2p btw so dont blame me if i say something wrongly ) I feel that the cause of this thing is due to 2 deadly sins of human beings, FEAR and GREED. When the mask came out, everyone thought that 'hey, its a rare item maybe i can make some money out of it!'. In this case, the intial excitement together with the desire to be one of the first few to get these mask drives up the demand for it. As a result, the prices of the masks shot up greatly and were being used by merchants to junk trade. The prices did not stop rising due to the GREED of the people who felt that they could still get a profit out of it. Eventually, the price rose so much that the demand for it drop drastically. The animal mask was like an big ticking time bomb. It could explode any moment and all that was required was a starter. This starter is called FEAR. All human beings, by nature, love money and the thought of losing a part of their hard earned money scared the hell out of them. When they saw the sudden drop in price and their inability to sell it even at a low price, the thought of losing money in something so useless was unbearable. Panic ensured and this FEAR for the loss of money spread like wildfire and eventually, the entire demand for the animal mask was wiped out in a matter of hours. To conclude, i feel that to become in a successful merchant/money maker, you have to learn to CONTROL your emotions. Never let them get a hold of you and control you. Dont be greedy, just set a target price to sell or amount to earn and then sell it without regrets. Then, prepare and catch the next wave, do not hold on to whatever that you are doing, hoping to earn more and later regreting about you bad decision. The best merchants/ investors out there are those who control their emotions very well, never letting it control them. Let this be a lesson to be learned for all who have lost money. This lesson can also be applied in real life. In short, when prices are going up, it is driven by Greed and when they crash, it is driven by Fear. For all those people who are still struggling to sell their mask or w/e, let me wish you GL ! :thumbsup:

ok this may be lame, but since shades robes have become untradable , my question is whether the shades still drop them? I have been killing shades everytime they appear but i dont get any shades robe. Does anyone know if they still drop them?

Hey medi! Good luck with your goals !! Gratz on 94 fishing! A few suggestions, i find your blog very bare. For example, you just post your fishing level and nothing else. I think that you should talk more about your day on rs, like the things that you did and maybe give your insights or opinons on some stuff ( like pvp etc). So the bottom line is to make it interesting to read and not just some 2 worded kind of post and a pic, Fill it up with words! Good luck with your blog!

yes, i believe that a membs skill should be given to f2p . However, it is unlikely that it will happen. Why? As we all know, Jagex is a company, and their main aim to earn as much as possible. By opening up p2p parts to f2p, some f2p may choose to remain f2p as there is no point for them to go membs. Plus, the f2p version is just a "demo" and it is a small part in the whole of rs. thus, its gets boring after a while... this pushes people to get members to have more fun and hence, allowing jagex to earn more money. yepp that about it .. but i still hope that one skill should be opened up to f2p... lol .. i know .. freeloader :-#

Thats why they deserve more respect. I made 15m cash (+ 1m items) 100% in f2p, 10m of it after dec 10 updates. Those who get 1k+ total in F2P are gods lol. i lol'ed at that .. those who get 1k+ total in F2P are NOT gods -.- . becuz of you, we get looked down upon. Anyway, i remain f2p because i dont play much and hence, it would be a waste of money if i had gone membs.. so i rather stay f2p. I do not believe that 100% f2p is an achievement cos no matter how much more time you have spent than a person in p2p, a level is still a level. In addition, i also believe that it is not easy to be a member too(alot of f2per think that it is easy to do stuff in membs). In membs, although it is easier to earn money, it is even easier to lose money as p2p has alot more skills which takes up a lot of money(such as construction herblore summoning etc.). To conclude, i believe that whether in p2p or f2p, whatever that we do, it is just for fun ..
