16-May-2011 Lava Flow Mine
I have never missed it, plus you get a message in your chatbox when she comes. I am only focussing on RuneScape, just because I don't want to miss it.

16-May-2011 Lava Flow Mine
7 hours have passed for me, and I've only seen boots. Oh well, a girl which is mining in my world is already busy since it came out and still hasn't gotten her first nymph, so I shouldn't complain.

03-May-2011 Capes of Distinction
Game cards, the whole concept, is something you only see in game stores here in Belgium, and RS game cards for RS aren't on that list, at least not at Gamemania, the biggest game store here. Oh well, not that I need those cards, just use my creditcard for already 5-6 years.

Meet one of Jagex's new owners
Foreign investors that lack knowledge of the game itself: the death of RuneScape, always said that. Instead of focussing on USEFUL content for the game... If the Gowers had a bit more feeling with economics and delegating, they wouldn't have needed Iddison, MMG, or these foreign investors. *sigh*

RuneScape Cache issue
THANK GOD I thought my computer was getting outdated, with those new trees etc. Hopefully they fix it soon, because it is so annoying.

It's not a quest.

28-Mar-2011 A Clockwork Syringe
I play this game for the quests and because I'm already playing for more than 7 years (yeah, that's really a reason for me xd), and honestly, I don't care about exp etc. I want some other experiences, like the cutscenes in a quest, the story itself, the graphics. That are for me the real rewards from playing this game. Not achieving level X in skill Y or getting item Z to get the best experience rates an hour. No, I simply play for fun, not for the grind, although you may find it odd that I got 36m in Hunter experience (got that when hunter was just released, it's just a relaxing skill in my opinion). So I may now be a person with a dull sense of fun, but I don't see fun in just training a skill for days and days on, only doing the same process over and over again to get a cape on my back.

28-Mar-2011 A Clockwork Syringe
One of the best quests in the past months, loads of puns and jokes, just too many to name them all! And all new graphics and utilities (seagullbombing, sailing, being a half robot-half zombie, smashing your house,...). Really had one of the best RS moments in a long time. :D

18-Mar-2011 - Guaranteed Content Poll: Veteran Cape Design
Oh, I remember staying on the Tutorial Island for 2 days because the mage said I could never return to the island, once teleported by him to Lumbridge. XD Dang, my 8th year of RuneScape started one of these days, miss those early days so hard. XD

Jagex to develop Transformers MMO for 2012.
Different development teams. Of course that would require you using common sense and just posting crap with no basis to it other than trying to be the cool kid in bashing Jagex. http://www.jagex.com/careers#/vacancies Look there, they're recruiting for 3 different projects. Stellar Dawn, RuneScape and "New MMO". They are completely separate teams working on each game (just like how FunOrb development was separate from RuneScape's). My common sense tells me in no other way the deadline can be made without moving even more people from the RS team to the new team. If they are going to hire people who have never been into the Jagex coding style etc without moving an expert base to the new team, the game will be an even bigger joke, just telling. And yeah, I'm bashing Jagex, this company has lost all my confidence the past months, seven years I've tried to understand and defend their way of thinking, but now I'm getting too tired from it.

Jagex to develop Transformers MMO for 2012.
So just in short terms: all resources for RuneScape, StellarDawn, FunOrb (which is already abandoned by players AND developers) will go to the development of a new MMO within one year, aimed at a very critical audience. This can only be a fail, for all the things Jagex has in its pockets, err, I mean, the shareholders have in pockets. RuneScape will get even less quality updates and much needed fixes, the massive sinkhole StellarDawn will be put aside for a long time, FunOrb will remain dead, and finally, they'll screw over the Transformers game BIG TIME. God, I miss the game that was developed by a band of three brothers, their best friend and some staff...

XP Multiplication: How Do You Like It?
I want the option "no exp boosting events at all". Seriously, it's so easy to gather exp these days.

08-Mar-2011 Artisans Workshop
They will punish us for their own incompetency. They regularly do that. Remember how W53 crashed and dozens of pros lost their binds, many of which included the extremely-rare Hexhunter bow? Yeah, Jagex doesn't care if they [bleep] up and we pay for it. If we quit, we'll just be replaced by n00bs anyway, so why should they give a [cabbage]? It is actually the players who choose to be greedy and would claim that they had lost items but hadn't which often stops Jagex from reimbursing players when worlds crash. As far as I know they do not have the technology to track which players had which items. If you wish to blame people, blame those who try to benefit. As for the cannons, it is your own choice to abuse the bug, not Jagex's. They have unintentionally left a loophole. It being present does not force you to abuse it, it is your choice. Making that choice could possibly get you banned, and any discussion on how to abuse it, or encouraging to do so here on the forums will be removed as per the forum rules, http://forum.tip.it/topic/48092-tip-it-forum-rules/ (Rule 1.1) I know years ago some mods looked into the "history" of items persons had in their bank, after they said that they lost some stuff after a bug. Also, when MA came out, there was that one person who lost all his money thanks to the MA tutorial, a Jmod didn't believe him and threatened him to ban him, but another Jmod went looking into the item history of that persons account and concluded that that player was telling the truth. Not that he got his money back or something, but yeah...

08-Mar-2011 Artisans Workshop
Ok, I'm losing the last grasps of trust in Jagex, or do I have to say the shareholders of the company once called Jagex... We wait years for incentives, and we just get another crapload of stuff just to train a skill, and for what purpose? This whole RuneScape thing is going downhill since Geoff resigned, although he may not have been the perfect CEO, he at least was able to give us updates we wanted.

DevBlog 7th March - The Clan Camp
I'm still wondering when the year-of-awesomeness will start, I think they announced it 15 months ago, but haven't seen a thing of it yet.

DevBlog 7th March - The Clan Camp
The moving of the air altar was for the noobygates. The air altar, being the lowest RC altar, was outside of that range, and as Jagex is scared that the poor noobs might die because of a wandering evil imp, they relocated the altar to varrock. Has nothing to do with the clan update, I guess. It's just that there is a blank spot there, one of the last in the crammed world Gielinor is. TBH: the past years we haven't had any large new landmasses, only portals to other dimensions, dungeons, or the occasional cramming of an already filled area. Really odd, because when I started members around 2004 we almost got every few months a new area with quest updates etc.

I like the trees. And I'm not getting the point of the rest of the update, just like someone would use such thing over RuneHead etc.

Future Update Discussions
I really like the detail of the dwarven armours. Some developers should put time into remodeling our old bronze-rune kits. :P But alas, I fear the so much anticipated smithing update which should have put new incentives to the skill has been changed into a exp-palace. :c

Mahjarrat Match Ups
I think most Mahjarrat will be dead after the last Mahjarrat quest. It wil be the closure of the main storyline of the game, that was already started by quests as Hazeel's Cult abaut 8 years ago. I do hope we get to see Zaros and Zamorak, and indeed, Lucien who will have those two against him. Oh well, I can speculate further, but in the end, it's Jagex who will bring us the story. I'll wait, and hopefully I will be pleased by their work. I've been waiting for this finale since I became a member in 2004, and I really hope Paul will bring questing to a whole new level, with epic graphics, a satisfying story, some long awaited answers etc.
