  1. Newest teen pop sensation? Does anyone actually know someone that likes this song?
  2. Ha, says you! In that gun game match on radiation I posted, I ended up with 39 knifes.
  3. Erm, what job are you looking for that doesn't require skills displayed/communicated through an interview?
  4. I don't need a mic to piss people off :D [hide=multiple videos] [/hide]

    Your dream job?

Met Dean Kamen earlier this year rather casually; just happened to run into him at a large engineering fair. Talked to him for a few minutes, he's a nice guy. Also saw him last year at an FRC competition while I was giving VIP tours. He's not much of a celebrity but it still feels cool to have seen him a couple times :P For me it's video game design. I was wondering what I was going to do since I was a sort of jack of all trades, master of none. Then I realized what I'm best at are music, art, and programming, and I redesigned a Metroid and Fire Emblem game when I was 8. THE HINTS ALL POINT TO VIDEO GAME DESIGN!
  7. 10 times in a row was probably an exaggeration. But if you play black ops, you should know how common it is to join a match halfway-through and find your team all dying to dudes running around your spawn with the FAMAS/AK74u and ghost.
  8. It's your fault for talking about scamming in front of a telescreen :/ Hope the brainwashing goes smoothly!
  9. Physics is great! I've held a consistent 65-70 on tests for the past year and a half on my physics tests, but I don't really care. It's fun. Walter Lewin is an amazing physics professor; he's funny and really good at teaching. I'd also recommend checking out the rest of MIT's Open Course Ware site; there are some other popular and interesting classes recorded such as the Intro to Computer Science class. I've been a rather average student with a GPA of 3.7 near the end of high school, but I've done a lot more important stuff too.. I've already made many contacts (mostly in the engineering industries but I have two really really good contacts in music), programmed satellites, a lot of neat robotics design, and I'm currently working as a barista in a local coffee shop. You can't have as much fun as I'm having sitting on your butt studying all day man! Besides, for nearly all of the 30+ years of your life after school, your grades will be meaningless. However there are a lot of other very important factors that you won't learn from stressing about school and blocking out everything else. Well, I can confirm that MIT cares a lot more about your grade, but it's alright because their campus is ugly and depressing anyways :P And a lot of their lab equipment is actually really outdated too, it really surprised me to see MORE THAN ONE professor still using VCR... in 2010... But my point is that it shouldn't be ignored that grades are an important tool for progressing through academics, especially if you plan on getting more than just a bachelor's degree.
  10. I think Scrubs had a very good ending. It's unfortunate that they tried to continue it though.. didn't work out well at all.
  11. Well, this got me 4.5m from a month or two of MTK so I'm not complaining :3 I'll probably be doing slayer and dungeoneering.
  12. Erm, no it didn't.. The 'overpowered' AK74u is not overpowered, just overused. I've won gunfights against the AK74u at close range with the G11. I didn't have a better connection, they just couldn't handle the recoil of the gun. It shoots fast and has decent damage but its low clip size and recoil keep it from being overpowered. Remember when MW2 came out everyone complained that the Model 1887's were overpowered? Then IW nerfed them to hell. What happened then? ... People complained that the SPAS-12 was overpowered. The only thing I think is unbalanced in the game is that snipers aren't good. They aren't very powerful, and there are very few maps where sniping is legitimately better than using an SMG or Assault Rifle.
  13. My bank was valued at ~15m yesterday, and it's at ~9m today. I hate you all XD
  14. Dude lighten up, it's the first day it's back! Hell I gave 100k to some noob dancing for money. He said it would go to cancer research.
  15. Hmm, I should make a rune/turmoil pure. That would be fun to play around with :D Too bad that would take a long time to complete though... it's not like 95 prayer's getting any cheaper :(
  16. I just gave like 250k of random stuff to noobs in edgeville This is great \:D/

    Food

Yesterday I ate one piece of Weetbix for breakfast. I tried to eat it as fast as I could, and in about 10 seconds the last bite had become soggy. ElkNight, I thought pad thai was. Oh my god, weetbix, that is the funniest word I've ever heard Weetbix Hahahahahahahahaha "Sorry, can't talk, I'm eatin' some weetbix"

    Today...

That GIF that was posted was amazing  So today... - I was out of power for 24 hours due to the snow - Found out today that a fellow robotics teammate passed away Tuesday evening. :\ fell from a tree and snapped his neck - Got a lot of reading done since the power was out for so long Actually not a lot, but it feels like a long day without electricity :P
  21. That's why most selective schools require interviews (I had to do one for MIT, I also know that UPENN and Columbia require them). Essays are horrible ways to get to know a student, and SAT's are even worse.

    Today...

I think I just realized how badly I'm overloading myself with work.. I work 10 hours/week Robotics 'club' 30 hours/week Guitar lessons weekly + playing in a band AP Calculus AB + AP Physics C, plus other difficult courses. And midterms are this week and midterms suck Preparing for college (applying for scholarships and internships) Black Ops Sleep Where's the time for food
  23. Well I got these nice chino's at Banana Republic last week, they seemed more like #669933 to me, but a #66FF66 wouldn't be a stretch either. I also got a #660033 dress shirt with #660066 collar and #669900 #660000 cuffs. But then I #009999 #00CC33 #00FF00#009900 and the#333366#3399FF #669999 with #999999 #99CCCC#CCCC66 #FFCC99#FF66CC#FF6600#FF3366 but she was on topof#FF0099#CCFFCC #CCFF66#CCFFFF#CCCCFF#33FF00#00FF00#009900mother[bleep] watermelons.. But do you know where I can get some nice belts
  24. I'd probably bless if they weren't being a [puncture]. I don't care much for money anymore in this game, and there's a good chance the guy that died does care.
  25. We should have more fun contests. Rather than just signature/photography/large art contests, we could have tutorial contests, t-shirt design contests, funny art contests, video contests, etc. Or collaborations. Just something to get everyone involved. Or maybe workshops where we get a group of the more talented artists to create a competition, and announce the competition globally to the whole forum. Then the artists critique the entrants as they work on their pieces.
