Everyone that's posted pretty much sums it up nicely. It's the little drops that add up to big profits (and if you get some rare drops, i.e whips, that just continues to add to your profit) and you can't forget effigies. In whoever's guide about effigies said that slayer is the best option to get them unless you already have 99 slayer. EDIT: AND you train a minimum of 3 skills (Hp, atk/str/def and slayer, could be more if you train on controlled)

I would say 50/50.

Just start training all skills. Your bound to get one that you find enjoyable. Stick with that skill and in most cases you will gain cash.

Alright thank you. Now assuming I ever get the cash would an Ely/Divine be better than the dragon defender?

My friend says that they're pieces of junk, but do they have any real uses? Once free trade is back tomorrow I plan on going on a slaying spree. Are either of the shields worth the cash?

If I caught someone drop trading and there was a partyhat, I definitely would. Sorry for the 2nd post, but I felt it was somewhat necessary.
