  1. 03-Nov-2009 - Golden Joystick Awards Thank You from http://services.runescape.com/m=news/newsitem.ws?id=2409
  2. Diztrict, A lot of people seem to have missed the point of your OT. You didn't ask "Is it possible to achieve this?" or "Is this a good idea?" You simply asked how long it would take, and the majority of people have responded in quite a Debbie-Downer way, teling you that you should give up, or even flat-out telling you that you will fail at it. I'm not sure how long it will take you to get 99 RC staring at your current level, but if you are honestly considering getting it, putting in all of the hours and hours of work, I'm sure you will achieve your goal. Best of luck, and happy Runecrafting, - SerpentEye
  3. Or he could have used a website that generates pumpkins like that out of drawins... I guess... I think a lot of designs like that have you connect the loose piece back to the body of the pumpkin using toothpicks. That way it can stay in place. But maybe that's not the case with this one.
  4. To be honest, I didn't even know such a ban was in place... I'm shocked that something like this was created! I'm really glad that President Obama has decided to take action and change this (in my opinion) silly law. The President summed it up quite well when he said, A step in the right direction - if we want to make any sort of dent in combating/curing this disease, shunning those who have it is far from the right thing for our country to be doing. Thanks for sharing, Adrenal!
  5. 75 Thieving ^ Stfu, haters  - - - ...this scares me.
  6. Lol same. I don't even understand what have these terms refer too and I have never even touched a weight in my life. In order for you to graduate from high school, most (see: most, not all) United States high schools require you to complete 1-2 years of some physical education class. At my school, you had to do at least two years. You also had the option to substitute this with sports (so, if you were on the football team/cheerleading squad, etc., you weren't required to do extra classes.) A lot of high schools offer weight-lifting classes.
  7. Isn't it more the fact that uni students can't afford food? So they slim down due to starvation? :P But that's good that you're feeling healthier! Walking places is nice for the environment, too.
  8. What's to prevent a male someone from getting their sister or a female friend to pose on the webcam for them...?

Is there discussion value in this? >.>
  10. This is actually the new tutorial for beginning characters. The old tutorial island no longer exists.
  11. Withdrew my resources a few days ago. 10 Herbs, 5 Raw Fish. Sold all for 2.9M :P
  12. The quest/event takes roughtly 15 minutes or so, depending on if you like to "absorb" the event, or if you just like to breeze through it and finish it as soon as possible. [hide=Reward *Spoiler*] "Eek," a pet spider that you can equip, play with, and talk to. A web cloak (at the moment, it doesn't do anything other than being equipable, and is apparently just for looks.)[/hide] As for the event itself, it's terribly easy. [hide=Quick run-through] Begin by speaking to the Grim Reaper, who can be found by entering the dark portal south of Falador Speak to the large spider inhabiting Grim's bathtub. (upstairs) Speak to Grim again Enter the portal to the Spider Queen's lair. Navigate your way through three floors of webs/agility courses Speak the the spider herald; speak to the Spider Queen Obtain Eek. Return to Grim's house and "decorate" it by finding the 64 spots that need cobwebs placed on them. Return and speak to the Spider Queen [/hide] Uhhh, that's a reallllly rough guide to it :^_^: Enjoy.
  13. Try using Eek/showing Eek to the dog.
  14. Please tell me you're kidding. Nope. You hold your hands about a foot apart in front of you, and Eek makes a web between them, and then drops down on a thread of silk from the web. It's cool. :^_^:
  15. IF YOU QUIT MEMBERS, THE SEA-DEMONS WILL RISE UP FROM THE ABYSS AND EAT ALL OF THOSE WHO ARE MOST DEAR TO YOU IN YOUR LIFE; FIRE SHALL RAIN FROM THE SKY, AND THE OCEANS WILL RISE, AND ALL WILL BE COVERED BY THE STENCH OF FREE-TO-PLAY!
  16. Sure, blame the ninjas.
  17. I really enjoyed last year's Halloween event. : X
  18. I do understand what you're saying, but you just have to try and remember a few things. For one, not everyone intentionally "prances around and skips and acts like girls just to get across the point they are gay." Yes, there ARE some people who put on an act to get their point across, but a lot of people simply act this way because, well, this is how they are! You have to remember, do YOU consciously decide how you walk or act? Or does your walk/voice/demeanor just come naturally to you? It isn't any different for some gay people. Secondly, part of the problem is something that you said. You say that they would have an easier time in society if they just "acted like everyone else," but at the same time, didn't hide the fact that they were gay. It's somewhat silly to tell people it's OKAY to be gay, but only if they act and think and speak like everyone else does... it's kind of like shoving gay people into a corner of a room and just ignoring them. In order to NOT hide the fact that they're gay, they HAVE to act like themselves. Whether it causes heads to turn or not, it's just something that should be accepted. People can't pick and choose what they like about homosexuality, saying one aspect of it is okay, but another aspect isn't. Third and last, just a quick comment on your "hitting on you" bit. Consider, there are women out there who are lesbians, and countless of men no doubt hit on them and make passes towards them without even a second thought. It goes to say that these women very well might be offended by having a straight man hitting on them. The point is, some gay guys don't hit on straight guys just to "bother them" or to annoy them -- it's just a habit for some people: you hit on people you're interested in, regardless of what THEIR sexual orientation may be. Most of that probably doesn't make sense. :???: Just putting in my two cents.
  19. With a SC Hatchet, you get 665 xp per Ivy... Not sure about the amount of xp per hour on that though.
  20. 10 Coal, 5 Fish (raw) is generally the most profitable. However, with the recent Herblore update, I think (for the time being) Herbs are the most profitable - eventually, however, I'm sure the prices of herbs will drop again, so this won't really be reliable for long. MTK is great, because you profit no matter what you put your coffers towards - it's fun to play around with the resources, and see what works best. Maples are often good as well, but they can be a bit risky, because you can end up with loads of worthless seeds.
  21. Congratulations to you all! Woohoo Rach!
