Reading
Reading is my biggest passion in life. I'm an aspiring writer, and just like someone posted earlier, reading is pretty like research. The first step to being a great writer is being an avid reader! Being a fantasy fiction writer, the majority of my books are teen and adult fantasty fiction. I do have quite a number of fiction books, and have just recently started branching out into reading non-fiction. My favorite authors include J. K. Rowling, Tamora Pierce, Cate Tiernan, and the late Michael Crichton -- I own and have read every book published by these authors (with the exception of three books by Cate Tiernan, and three non-fiction books by Michael Crichton -- but trust me, I'm hunting for them!) (Some of) My favorite books include: [*:283snxgu]Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling [*:283snxgu]Protector of the Small series by Tamora Pierce [*:283snxgu]Circle of Magic and The Circle Opens series by Tamora Pierce [*:283snxgu]Jurassic Park and The Lost World by Michael Crichton [*:283snxgu]Sweep series by Cate Tiernan (series is titled Wicca in the U.K.) [*:283snxgu]The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie [*:283snxgu]The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice [*:283snxgu]The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke [*:283snxgu]Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon [*:283snxgu]Fullmetal Alchemist manga series by Hiromu Arakawa [*:283snxgu]The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley I won't list any more  If you find any of these books interesting, you can check out my complete library at: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/jta_8888 I only have 364 books to look through

Shadow of the Storm
I have a quick update suggestion for the Shadow of the Storm quest guide. In the "Required Items" section of the guide, it says that you are required to have Desert shirt and Desert robes OR "(...any 3 of the items listed in Tip, Tricks & Notes section)." While the list provided in the Tip, Tricks & Notes section is helpful, the previous "Required Items" section is somewhat misleading. It may lead players (including myself) to believe that if they choose to go with using Desert shirt/robes, that they only need these two items, when in fact, even if you use the Desert shirt/robes, you still need to include a third item from the list. To provide some evidence/proof of this: [hide=Evidence] This first picture is showing myself with my Black desert shirt/robes and my dyed Silverlight equipped, and Evil Dave still not letting me enter the Throne Room on account of not being "evil." I thought this might have something to do with the fact that I had other items equipped, which leads me to my next picture. Prior to taking this second picture, I dropped a few items and unequipped anything not listed in the "evil" clothes list provided in the guide. This left my character only wearing items as listed per the guide. As seen, however, Evil Dave still won't grant me access.[/hide] After a quick trek to Varrock, I aquired a few more items from the approved evil list (in my case, a black cape and black Wizard's hat) before heading back to Uzer. Upon equipping at least one more of these items, Evil Dave finally let me pass into the temple. I suggest that the Required Items list is changed to say "any 3 of the items listed in Tip, Tricks & Notes section," and to add Black Desert shirt/robes to that list at the end of the guide. Also, in the second section of the Quest guide, Ruins of Uzer, Desert shirt/robes are listed as suggested items for this stage of the quest. I suggest that something like "Your choice of evil clothing" is added to the Required items section, as you can't proceed with the quest without them (as shown above.) As a last addition, I think it may help players to include the location of Black mushrooms. These can be found near the stairs just before entering the lower section of the Ruins of Uzer, as well as the NE, SE, and SW corners of the lower level: Cheers!

The Tale of the Muspah
I'd like to offer a suggestion as to updating the Required/Suggested Items section of the The Tale of the Muspah quest guide, to include the items Knife, Tinderbox, and Spade. I know that the sixth "step" of the guide states that Erjolf can provide you with these items upon speaking to him again, but I think it may go unnoticed by a few players. I myself somehow skimmed over this part; I ended up running back to the Fairy Ring to go to Zanaris, grabbing these items out of the bank, running back to Fairy to the cave, only to later find out that he could have just provided them. Perhaps you can add these items followed by something like "(Provided)" afterwards. Just a suggestion!

Thanks - and I hope so! I get so tired from work that I don't usually get in much game time ;-; It took me a whole month to get from 80-90 Cooking  But I'm confident I can get 99 within another month, or month-and-a-half more, work-schedule permitting! See you around, and thanks for visiting!

90 Cooking Thanks to Renderer 123 and Lady Heinous for coming to congratulate me ^-^ Sadly, I took the screen shot a bit too early, got a little hasty when Rend entered his text, so I screenied before Lady's text showed up on-screen. That's why I added the bit from the chat box. But thanks again for coming to support me, you two! Only 9 moar levels ;_; Edit: I went through and updated the first post of my blog, so my current stats are up-to-date, and I updated my current MTK earnings. I also added an Achievement Pictures section under "Pictures."

Shameless bump to say that I'm back from vacation! It was really, really fun, but the horribly long flights were less than desirable! Made 1.946M from MTK while I was away  And now that I'm back, I can continue to focus on no-life Cooking ;-; - - - Thank you :) I have many more authors that I love, but those are a few of my favorites! I'm going to a Tamora Pierce book signing next month
