  2. They made Hermione express her feelings for Ron a loooot more than she does in the book. I kind of liked it though. The Ron/Lavvy bits were great

  4. The truth is, the greater majority of the people who go out and watch this film are die-hard fans of the series. It's hard to step back and look at these films from an unbiased perspective, to be honest. Personally, I really loved this movie. As always, the acting was really superb on everyone's parts, the technical sides of the film (directing, music, etc.) was top-notch. Half-Blood Prince is far from being my favorite book in the series, but so far it's one of my favorite movies from the series! (Prisoner will always be number one, unless by some miracle Deathly Hallows blows me away.) However, I'm a hardcore Harry Potter fan, and it's really tough to not let that cloud my judgment. I'm sure that this is the problem for loads of the people criticizing the film. There was a lot that was left out of this film, and so much that they simply didn't add in at all. Even though as a movie separate from the book it was great, when you get down to it, it didn't really do the book justice. When you go and add in a scene where they destroy a location that plays a HUGE part in the seventh book, or in the film tweak one of the most climactic scene from the book, you can't help but cringe a little bit... Personally, I really felt... I don't know.. I suppose detached would be the right word.. yes, detached when watching this film, despite loving it. Strangely enough, the majority of the film got little emotion out of me. Yes, there were scenes that had me laughing and shouting at the screen, but only two or three scenes really struck a deep cord within me as a fan. For most of the movies, to this day, I can watch them at home on DVD and run around skipping after words. However, when I screened this one at work the day before our midnight showings, I left the theater with my coworkers kind of in a daze, somewhat depressed and out of it. (Forgive me if anything doesn't make sense... 4:00 AM reviews are never good!) Anyway, I'm off from work tomorrow, and plan on seeing it again! Several of my coworkers who felt similar feelings have said it gets better the more you watch it. Here's to hoping!
  5. The first article was interesting! I just recently found out about the DYK for this week a few days ago, so it's nice that it was chosen; I think a surprising number of players have no idea that there's a teleport lever in Edge. A large amount of people know a great deal about RuneScape, but not everyone notices small details like a lever tucked into a dark corner of an abandoned building.
  6. I like to always keep MTK fresh and "exciting," so I usually cycle through what resources I withdraw. Usually, one week I'll do 10 Fish/5 Flax, the next week I'll do 10 Fish/5 Maples. As said earlier, Maples are a bit risky, but you can make a nice chunk off of the crushed birds' nests you get, and there's always that chance that you can get a higher-end seed or bird egg. But for pure profit, it's generally always 10 Fish + 5 Coal/Maples.
  7. Garden Pie only boosts you +3. - - - Also, if you have at least 4 Summoning, you can Summon a Dreadfowl to gain a +1 boost to your level. I'm not sure if that'll stack with the Garden Pie though.
  8. pssst. i'm in your deviantart, spying on your pix

  10. [hide=] Of what? [/hide] The first tattoo I got was of my zodiac sign, Leo. My second one is an Ouroboros.
  11. I got my first tattoo when I was 18. Birthday present for myself. I don't see anything wrong with getting them when you're younger, as long as you give it a lot of thought... I have two, and plan on getting more any more and more.
  12. GRAHHHHHHH HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE, YOU SHALL BE MINE!!! *cough* Tiny CAPS-locked text doesn't really have the desired effect..! Ok, so, I don't know how I feel about Mobilizing Armies... I feel... meh. Conflict:  Seige  + Hoard: NO ONE FRIGGEN PLAYS SEIGE EVER (-.-) so I haven't been able to experience Hoard yet. Rescue: *see above!* I can't even decide what I'd like to spend my points on... do I get the lame Sergeant clothing? or wait until cooler ones are available? I have no level updates tbh, I'm just bumping :haha:
  13. :-# I fail for missing your video... Forgive me.
  14. 68 Thieving 5/5/55, END OF TEH WORLD!!!!@@@@@@@@222 Thieving is cool ^-^ I think Hunter is going to start training it, too XD. JOIN TEH COOL KID CLUB before the world ends. - - - oh and btw, world, FAIL MOBILISING ARMIES UPDATE IS FAIL. Jagex, you shouldn't release stupid update hints until SECONDS before you release the update. Then you can't botch up and go, "Notrly, jk, we'll release when we've done tweaks to it."
  15. Join the other hoards of players who are [facedesking] on their computer desks atm. *provides Giga with a desk*
  16. From the Jagex French Twitter: So... 100% Mobilising Armies.
  17. It's sad, but even if it is something big like Mobilising Armies, I'll still be disappointed :wall: I have no interest in it whatsoever.
  18. Pity it doesn't count. :?
