  1. First random since this post. [bleep]
  2. Kbd or Kq head would be a pretty cool accomplishment for a level 4 skiller and I'm fairly certain you can do both as a level 4 especially if you get a friend's help. Pretty sure all the other good bosses require combat stats to even get to.
  3. Skyrim's system is more suited towards a single player rpg in the sense that it enables you to use almost any set of armor you want in the end game. In Runescape this would effectively kill off boss hunting as there would be no reason to go get a Torva (Daedric) drop when you could just smith up your rune (steel) armor to be on par. If you're suggesting literally smithing rune to the stats of level 59 armor, dragon to 69, barrows to 79 etc then all armor sets will just become equally better changing nothing. An Enchanting approach with the magnitude based upon the armor's defence requirement could work a bit better since having a better armor set would give proportionately greater benefits. Maybe a base runecrafting requirement along with the class of armor making it 50 runecrafting and strength for rune. To counter the problem of runecrafting essentially becoming a combat skill like the herblore incident back in 2009 enchanting armor could weaken the physical defences by maybe 25% (both lifepoints and armor bonus) in order to imbue anything from a ring of recoil's effect up to Void's accuracy boost and Divine's damage blocking. These numbers would obviously need to be balanced to make sure having an unenchanted set wouldn't mean certain death.

I don't miss having to dump 20m into claws to have any chance doing anything that involved competing with players be it pvm or pvp. I don't miss having level 40s take out half my health with one attack then dying and coming back to finish the job. I don't miss 1 weapon dominating almost everything.
  5. Inb4 I start getting assassination random.
  6. How come I've never once got the assassin random? Every single time it's the barmaid.
  7. I really don't understand the 5k cw games requirement...if they want to keep people playing after they get their comp/trim comp just let them start their account over with a gold name or something. This way Jagex keeps their players running around their game for a ridiculous amount of time and people don't have 83 solid days of castlewars breathing down their neck telling them to bot.
  8. We could have this or "Livid Port"...take your pick.
  9. Another thing I noticed in all the regions is when near completion you start getting a higher concentration of trait voyages along with voyages from lower tiered regions. This happened each time when I fully upgraded my boat for that region and around 90% completion in the region. I can't be sure what triggered it but it has happened for all 3 regions so far. I've noticed the same thing, at least on this last region.
  10. Stupid idea to even put the 5k game requirement there in the first place. Now that it's there though taking it out would just be giving the finger to everyone who actually sat through all those games.
  11. You make it sound like people who bot are the equivalent of Neo "freeing his mind" in The Matrix.
  12. How does that work? It becomes a permanent boost? or only the next voyage? I was pretty sure those boosts only work for a single voyage. My lifeboat has been active for a week at least. It saved a crewman today and is still marked as active so it looks like intentional or not it's permanent.
  13. The fetch quests...THE FETCH QUESTS!! Haha well in my mind they'd be more substancial than fetch quests. Eg you'd be asked to research a tribe who worshiped Bandos and you'd have to work out where to start 4 or 5 separate digs and in total probably spend like 30mins or so before you complete the task That's just like if they added backstory to slayer tasks. "There are 5 mountain lions in some lady's basement, go kill them!". It would get really boring once you've saved the same lady 200 times. Or in a worst case scenario it would end up like tracking, run around heading to all the memorized areas until you find your artifacts for task completion.
  14. No.....spikes?? Oh my god thank you Jagex! Is that it or is the concept art for the other sets released yet?

  16. If it is engineering we better have dwarven belt fed-chain driven-steam powered-incendiary chinchompa firing-automatic cannons. It must look like this:
  17. I pictured you talking like Jerry Seinfeld when reading this post :D Me too. Also, I'm pretty sure the black market guy is restocking twice a day now. Just me I guess? HLF found that the bottom three effects (Lifeboat, Spectacles, Fortune) seem to be permanent additions to a ship, while the previous four effects are expended after one voyage. These three work with each other but you can't stack multiple copies of each (e.g. 2x fortune) so it seems like it's intended. I've been saving all this slate for the office upgrade, but I must say it's now very tempting to do a Partner and upgrade the bar instead :s Damn, been saving those 2 lotus tint glasses for no reason then.

  19. Alright, what's the deal with lifeboats? I've had one "active" since the skull region and now it's finally saved someone but it's still active in the add effect screen. I assumed it would go away when it was used.
  20. You must not be of a high enough caliber of customer to have the privilege of shopping there.
  21. No that means they: are sellouts will do anything for a quick buck kick puppies punish loyal players try to drive away players are neo-Nazis copied WoW are homosexuals have no morals are run by lizard men [spoiler=Source(s)]Runescape Official Forums http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]
  22. Pretty easy, have a fishing familiar who forages fish to run out of time. It will then drop the fish, hence we see fish =D. This can be done with any storage like familiar ;D. Who cares how easy it is, this is a critical first step in the uprising to overthrow the tyrannical Port Sarim government.
  23. She's making a flesh atronach. Inb4 last area is the Shivering Isles. Sounds rather historical to me... I don't know much about occultism, but the missionary should be called the crusader that's for sure.
  24. Is there a limit to the staunch abilities protection e.g. can 2 crew members "die" and will the golem only save 1, or does it simply guarantee losing nobody but the golem?
