If it's on fixed (the old SD layout) then you shouldn't really have a problem running SD if you didn't have a problem before RuneTek5. Just a note, I am SO happy they fixed the glitchy GE bars

The symbol on earth runes has changed O_o Look at the one on the tab compared to the rune.

I actually have Ts_Stormrage and the TET for getting me to join the forums. I just used the guides for ages and one time I decided to have a quick look at the forums I came across Ts's signature promoting the MSSW4 and thanks to that I decided to join the forum and take part and fight for Tip.It. I'm really glad I did join :) I suppose I'd like to thank my IRL friend Rhys too for giving me advice when I was a lower level than him (now I can totally pwn him and I'm the one giving him advice :P)

I'm of two opinions really. I think it could be like Pixar. Afaik, Pixar deal with most of the actual film making ect and Disney do most of the promotion and distribution. If something like that were to happen and Marvel continued to make as they still do then I don't think there would be a major difference. Or it could turn disasterously wrong and you'll have Spiderman going to watch a Jonas Brothers Concert, IN 3D! They might just end up milking all the creativity from Marvel so they don't have to come up with anything for themselves. ... does anybody remember the days when Disney made animated movies? :|

The thing is, the best updates are often the ones we forget about because they've worked so well, it feels like they were always there. Of course this year has been quite slow but they've churned out a lot of content in recent years, why can't they take a step back from updates for a year to go back and fix buggy code, little things ect. It's not like there's nothing for us to do, I doubt that anybody reading this has done everything there is possibly to do in Runescape already. I do think that they might have moved some people over to Mechscape for the moment. To be honest I don't mind all that much, if a few extra staff working on pushing Mechscape for release can bring it earlier then good. I'd sacrifice one or two updates a month if it means we get a whole new MMO sooner.

I don't see how that's always a good thing. The more mods out a'modding the better I guess :)

Or because last year and the year before weren't designated "upgrade years". Anyone who has to ask why there aren't as many updates this year hasn't been paying attention at all. Well I haven't seen any upgrades, besides the familiar adjustments on the 18th(which is how it should've been upon release of Summoning), in atleast a month... :roll: You can't just disregard what was quite a bit upgrade just because you think it should have been that way before. (It should have been but that doesn't mean you can disregard it). There has been an upgrade this month. I'm eagerly hoping for an update tomorrow (bank holiday today so you won't be getting an update).

Some people have no choice but to leave school. They have families to support. That person could have gone further but not everyone has a choice in what they can do in life. In general the less money you have, the less choices you have. Just because one person went further in school than another person doesn't make one life better than another.

What's to say the man that works at a construction site, has been doing hard graft since he had to drop out of school because he needed to be making a wage is worth any less than the CEO? I believe that while people aren't equal and will never be, that we should treat all people as equal in the one thing we all are - human beings. I think it's wrong and cruel to say that the person who has the most money has worked harder and deserves to live more than the man who works just as hard but has a family of 4 to pay for.

I was focusing on the it's updated weekly part, which it never is anymore Well maybe it's been a bit lax the past few weeks but that only supports the idea that a big update is coming next week (I hope :pray: ) and it is pretty close to weekly, far close than lots of other MMO's might claim.

Just because you say it's a demo doesn't mean it is, the fact that you can have a full gaming experience with just F2P does mean that it's not a demo. You have a game and more if you have P2P but like they say, P2P is an expansion.

Same here - if they say it's not a demo, they're wrong. They just don't know what can be counted as a demo and what cannot. If you got the full game for free and could pay $5 every month to have access to weapon specials, for example, that would count as an "expansion". But when 5% of the full game is available to F2P, it is safe to say that the F2P is actually a demo. That is a bad analogy. They're not saying it's a FPS or anything like that are they? It would be a demo if they let you get to say, level 30 of members skills then said that you could only get higher if you bought members. It's not how much extra members have, rather how much F2P does have. They've said that there are hundreds and hundreds of hours of content for F2P. It might be a small area to work in but you can still work to level 99 in lots of skills. They are saying that it's a demo. Saying that is like saying the game is a FPS in one thing - both are wrong. A full game that has 10 hours of gameplay is a "demo" then? Oh please. It is about how much of the full game is available to the free players compared to what is available to a paying customer. As I said, the F2P aspect of the game is extremely little compared to members - if F2P has hundreds and hundreds of hours of content, members probably has ten thousands of hours of it. And never forget that most of that F2P content is grinding skills like the one that has no benefits past 85 (90 on members) to 99 - with the required XP doubling every 7 levels, think about it. Admittedly, that makes up most of members too, but if we take out both, I think members would have an even more crushing advantage, with much more quests, much more minigames etc. I'm gonna go sleep soon, so I'll also address the argument that's waiting to be thrown in the fray: "RuneScape started out as a free game". But now it isn't, not anymore. I don't think it is a demo as if you took F2P and there was no members, it is a fully functioning and self-sustaining game right there. The members stuff can't work if you were to take F2P away from it, it is an expansion on the fundamental skills and such that F2P provides. -.- That is the stupidest thing ever. If you're buying CDs and unhappy because you have no money left, then it is your own damn fault for not managing your money correctly. You have at least 4 choices. 1) Buy the CDs and be happy. 2) Overspend on CDs and be unhappy that your choice has left you with no money. 3) Choose not to get the CDs and realise it was your choice not to purchase it and was therefore right for you. 4) Pirate the CD, which is illegal, but still be happy with your choice. We can get anything for free, it's called theft, but you don't see everyone running about stealing anything they want, do you? I understand your point, but you don't have to overspend to not have enough money other things if you buy a CD. If I were to buy a CD now I'd end up broke. For some people, like me, it's that bad. Some people just don't get money to spend on stuff. Does that mean these people aren't entitled to be entertained? And it's not stealing, it's copying. Something hasn't gone because it was pirated, it's there same as it always was.
