LOL, tenuous at best.... :lol: But I'm very inclined to agree! The UK could go metric, yes it would be expensive, but not impossible, and think of the jobs it would give people!!! Driving on the other side of the road however would be much harder. BUT combining the two in one fell swoop, would be far more effective, because you'd need to change all the signs anyway. Think of the one way systems :shock: ! As for joining the Euro, I'm not inclined one way or the other. I DO think however that the British "one foot in, one foot out" policy needs to be stamped out by the rest of the EU. Either all in (Euro and Metric! :lol:) or all out (pound and imperial). I don't know why we need to change the side of the road, it'd be waaaaay too confusing and there'll be a big [bleep]e in the number of traffic accidents =/ Signs I'm all for though since I haven't a clue about miles and crap. I think Metric and Pound is way better, screw the EU man and be awkward ^_^

That would sound like a great idea if it had been the rule in the first place, but they can't take away posting privileges from those members who do not have 12.5m xp and already commonly post. I think it's a good idea in practice to move it onto members too, but you can imagine the [cabbage] storm that would ensue =/

It's also good to retrieve your account I guess :) They announced emails for new accounts though I don't specifically remember them annoucing it for existing accounts.

Don't forget that Liters are also part of it, which makes it even easier. (1l = 1 dm³) I agree that the UK should switch to the Euro. Screw the Euro! I went shopping today. Bought some £1.50 t-shirts from Primark again and 16 pairs of socks (nobody in my house has noticed I've been wearing the same green socks for 2 weeks XD). I also went to Waterstones and bought The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya manga (I had to have it), and The Escape bu Robert Muchamore. Since The Escape was on bogof ( :lol: ), I was VERY tempted to buy a Twilight since that was on bogof too, JUST so I could burn it... but I saw The Tales of Beedle the Bard so I got that instead. And now I'm just mooching around here.

This is the same as me really, I'm still in awe over Higurashi still tbh and I finished it months ago. Usually the fangirlism would have died out by now. The new FMA is good, I really liked it. Even though it's like a remake (I think), it feels like a completely new story.

I didn't do much. Played my first game in High-def at my grandma's house (she's got a hd plasma now) with my cousin's 360. I got to kill Nazi Zombies and my first proper experience of a shooter game, not too bad really :) After that I came home and sat here as I am now. Oh I just finished spending like half an hour colour co-ordinating my signature :)

I've always been taught the metric system and I'm English... It's a mixture of both here, but I've always been caught centimetres, metres ect rather than feet and inches. Tbh metric is way, way, way better. It's far more logical. And I'm secretly a vulcan inside so I dig logic :ugeek: .

The rich will be getting their Virgin Galactic to live on Mars or wherever and the people in lesser economically developed countries and the working class & people in poverty in places like UK & USA are all going to be stuck in a massive world war where familes fight for food and things basically dissolve into anarchy. Money is useless if there's nothing to buy. People will also finally see that homosexual couples not producing children might not be so bad after all, hopefully.
