It can get stupidly hard, but thats on the stupidly hard levels. You can get songs that are so easy you're just yawning inbetween steps that come about once every 10 seconds or something. It can cater to any difficulty level really which is what makes it really awesome :D I've read about it being used as an actual fitness thing. I was playing Stepmania with just my fingers the other day and I was honestly getting tired :shock: which kinda freaked me out. It's probably the only exercise besides Wii Fit I would ever do.

It's kind of hard to keep track considering how fast people are posting. We could probably use another thread. but that wouldn't work. But I nominated |Goddess| for queen. I also nominated jaerkd00d and Skull_Emblem for vikings. We need to start organising ideas better and formalising things a bit more. I'm totally loving this thread though.

I did notice that yeah, it's still hard. :) I don't usually use the bar since I'm often at home rather than an arcade. I have heard it makes a difference and helps with balance :)

Max 300 is one of my fave songs too. I can only complete it on the standard/normal mode though. I'm nowhere near up to expert yet. :lol: It's still pretty tiring at that level though. One problem I have with hard songs is with the half notes and stuff in streams I just can't see where I'm supposed to go next and I get all muddled and die. My feet can't just get used to little taps either, but I'm trying to learn :D .

Surely I can't be the only person that plays these games? It goes by the names DDR & Dance Dance Revolution in the States and Japan and Dancing Stage in UK and Europe. Basically there's four arrow slot things (up, down, left, right) and arrows move up. When the arrow reaches the slot you press (either on a control pad or with your foot on at mat) it. Simple. Its one of the earliest rhythm games and probably thanks to this you've got your Guitar Hero and Rockbands these days. So I'm just wondering how many tifers out there either play these games (dancing or with finger power), or don't and why? ** I first started playing about 9 years ago when Dancing Stage Party Edition came out for the PS1. My dad bought it and I just played that one game for about... 7 years. It doesn't help that I go on holiday to Pontins every year where there's an arcade with a DDR machine. It's only recently-ish I've got more games (then they break :( ) and started considering playing more difficult levels and stuff since I've always just been at a 4/5/6 foot-ish level. Now I'm playing Stepmania rather than the console games due to annoying circumstances but yeah.

I can't say I agree with the article on going solo. Yes, it would be nice to be able to do more quests with friends ect but there are a lot of players who can't get themselves together a little party of 4 or 5 people (myself included), it's not so simple as just "gather some friends". Jagex is probably just thinking about those really so that those who don't like social interaction or find it more difficult won't be put at a disadvantage. Nice ending to Saradomin's Sun though. It's been the first fiction story I've read and I'm now hoping that the next week's shall be good too. I really enjoyed the story Forsakenmage

I wouldn't say teleports because there'll be a lot of people who don't have the magic level to use them so possibly air runes. Bones could be though, it just depends if the person buries them or not.

That map's pretty boring. And what the hell is the point of Troll Territory, River of Fail, Ice Island, Flamer Prison, West Pole (which is in the East wtf?), 4chan4tress, Troll-buchet, Serious People Live Here, Hostile Flamer Territory, Storage Room, Noob Village, /B/ridge, Lenin Land, Wongtong, and Nessie? -.- Fun maybe? I kinda like some of the ideas on this map. :thumbsup: The ice island is clever :D

The most annoying part was finding out which world! Next time: just stick to English worlds will you? :wall: I died three times in the war, once in the Fally PvP afterwards. Wasted some rune, some adamant, but it was a great laugh. Was I the only one that [cabbage] themselves when Corruption did like a war cry around us? They were circling us and shouting and it was all red and I seriously went HOLY CRAP :ohnoes: :ohnoes: I stayed until everybody had pretty much left and we all decided to go Fally PKing. The war was really fun. The only sad bit was the first time I died someone shouted 'Look a level 80!!' and then they piled me and it made me all sad. :(

It accidentally gets inhaled up your nose, you struggle to breathe, panic, hyperventilate ect and die from a stress induced heart attack? ... maybe?
