Are parent too harsh on Jagex? or misunderstood?
Just fail, really. I have a younger brother who plays Runescape (He's 9, on quickchat, bless :P), and he moaned at me to get him a subscription and I just said NO. Because THIS is what happens when you let kids use real life money on the internet. You produce a lot of fail. Anyway he did RWT therefore he doesn't deserve sympathy, just people laughing at him for being a [developmentally delayed].

Today...
Best friend comes online for the first time in two days. I haven't had this much time apart from her since she went to America and even then we emailed almost every day. But no, she comes on with her boyfriend! #-o I'm not really supposed to be jealous of my best friend's boyfriend and I've been the one telling her she needs to get in real life rather than sticking to the internet and talking to me. Now she HAS a social life it's so annoying because she barely talks to me anymore. #-o Other than that I tidied my room today :o , got in some DDR practice, did my homework for next week and organised my Star Trek video collection. A strangely productive day really

Things that annoy the hell out of you
Americans who think that all us brits are pompus stuck up tea drinking, monacle wearing, queen loving limeys. When most are just chavvy, tea drinking, burberry wearing, Jeremy Kyle loving limeys. \ - Most American comedy - That stupid Nickolodeon show called LOL. NO DON'T YOU DARE BRING THE INTERNET INTO REAL LIFE :ohnoes: - People at my college - Chavs - People who call things stupid when they obviously have a logical purpose, say for example a lesson at college V.V - People who used to be your best friend over the internet, suddenly get a boyfriend then act as though they've finally got over being a social reject leaving you in the dust behind them, forever browsing 4chan because you can't even keep friends on the internet :( - People who use Gay as an insult - Busdrivers/train conductors who ask my age. I'm SMALL enough to pass for under 16 so screw you I'm paying the child's fare. - Cats. They scare and annoy me. - Car adverts. They NEVER make any sense. - People who don't say what they mean and stand up for what they actually think but just go along with something because it's easier than saying no. I'm sure I can think of more later.

Little Boy Father At 13 (After DNA Test, Not The Father)
Instead of teaching youngsters about the responsibilities both emotionally and morally that come about from entering into a sexual relationship, sex education generally focuses on the physical aspect of sex; STDs, the Reproductive Systems and the act itself. Something that is IMO the most important activity that one can engage in reduced to diagrams on a piece of paper and scare tactics from teachers too scared (or unwilling) to bring matters of faith and/or spirituality into the discussion for fear of the political correctness brigade. In conjunction with this, people of all ages are subjected to a huge amount of sexual images from the media and television. Programs objectifying either gender and trivialising sex (Sex and the City for example) have further bridged the gap of understanding of alot of the younger generations. This has seen a massive increase in recent years and only looks like getting worse. Sexual education needs a more holistic approach, evidence of this is shown in the Netherlands where teen pregnancy rates are one (if not the) lowest in Europe. They have a very liberal attitude towards sex but their sexual education programs are forward thinking and far more engaging than those in England. When people are better informed and have a more mature attitude towards sex, things like this tend to happen less. Statistical evidence for this can easily be found online, you need not take my word for it. Telling someone they shouldn't have sex and then giving them free condoms won't change their attitude towards the act itself. The money spent subsidising all those free condoms is better spent elsewhere. Education. +1. +1 +1

Questionable Items in Your Possession
Questionable things are just on my laptop really. Random things would be a stack of 6 empty ASDA Chocolate mini bites container thingies. (I had a stack of 10 once but my mum made me get rid of it :( ), a rusty samurai sword (quite small and blunt) which my dad found in the garden O_o, an advent calendar from 2007 and a CD I used scissors on and scratched up like mad and scratched 'Rachael' into. It's stuck on my wall, pretty dangerous actually cause it has a load of sharp edges :P

Runecraft
Maximise your tokens by repelling and attracting one of your orbs each round (you don't need to score any) and you should get the maximum you can at 50/50. I don't know how long it would take for the tablets but it's about 540 or 450 (I can never remember) tokens per round.
-
Leveling runecrafting
Earth gloves ftw. I did them up to level 50 after that I played Great orb project for tablets which make Runecrafting so much easier.
-
Great Orb Project
Best thing to do is just go onto a Great orb project world and there'll usually be someone shouting a clan name for 50/50. That's how I usually get my 50/50's

Best Quick Chat + Improvements
I like the ability to fake Soul Wars quick chat. It's so useful by 'The red team's avatar is level: 5' or whatever it is (I forget) to help filter noobs over to the other team when you're waiting to get into a game. Does this name me a bad person? :(

Best Quick Chat + Improvements
I find the 'We're going down with the ship :(' quick chat hilarious too. Fishing Trawler quick chat ftw. I find it quite funny when someone does 'My *insert skill* level is: 99.' and you get someone replying with 'Thats low.'

Because it's easy I guess. Most people end up going to the GE so you're more likely to see people there than other places.

Maybe they would just be unoriginal and call it Grandmaster quest? No idea what the content would be *shrugs* This post is fairly useless actually. #-o

17th February 2009 - Wilderness and Real-World Trading Q&A
I expect some parents wouldn't be as willing to use something like Paypal and Prepaid cards are hard to distribute. I know my mum wouldn't use paypal (not that she pays for my RS anyway) and I wouldn't be able to have a membership if it was Paypal only since I sort of... screwed up... my paypal... thing... and I can't use it :wall:

I've heard it all before really, predictable answers but nice that Andrew is taking the time to answer the questions at least :)

10-Feb-2009 Soul Wars Minigame
I found a very sly tactic to help you win before the start of the game. This only works on busy, preferably noob filled worlds. Just go in at first on any team, if your team wins, go to the other team next match and start saying 'Zezima is on *other team*', '*this team* is rubbish! I'm going to *other team*' and other things designed to lure noobs away. Then if your team wins, go to the other team and do the same, claiming that you need to get revenge and other stuff. The noobs always end up on the losing team and think that the other team will win this time so they go to that team ect ect... I've found this is the case in general but not always.

16th February 2009 - Your RuneScape Questions Answered
 The whole time I was reading the "Your RuneScape Questions Answered," I was wondering if any Tifers made the list. And apparently someone has. =D> Racheya - With the current economic conditions, are you going to be increasing subscription prices any time in the near or distant future to help compensate for rising costs? And even if not, how is Jagex going to deal with the current economic situation? No, we have no plans to increase the current membership prices for RuneScape. Jagex is a strong company, and contrary to much of the rest of the industry, we continue to grow financially. We believe our competitive price point, and unparalleled game value and depth, mean we are in a uniquely strong position. *dies inside* They had to pick the one that made me sound like a nerd :( Still *squealdies* I can't believe one of MY questions were answered. Seriously. Edit: He answered another one of my questions too. About the 'bring wildy back'-ers.

Soul Wars Worry
I was considering how good the rewards were earlier, but really if you're not afking then it's quite a bit of work really for a maximum of 9 points an hour-ish. I'm really enjoying Soul Wars though

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
I honestly don't care if someone else has an item I don't have :o It's strange to imagine such a mythical concept but just because I don't own a Party hat it doesn't mean I should own one. Why should those who have been playing maybe a few months have something that people have been playing for YEARS with. There is no point to them anyway, if you have the money to afford one then good on you. If you have been playing since the drop then good on you. *shrugs* You can't argue about everybody having equal opportunities because it's not an opportunity it's an item that you should have to obtain on your own.
