  1. Watched Chaos;Head in club today - looks really quite good, I'll probably watch it. Atm though I'm half way through: Full Metal Panic? Fummoffu, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Durarara! & Ookami Kakushi. Of course most of them are still in the middle of airing, but it feels like quite a lot :P
  2. I think that climate change or no climate change, there's nothing wrong with going greener. It IS an undeniable fact that our fossil fuels will run out someday, so the sooner we develop greener methods of generating energy the better. Also, what's wrong with trying to cut carbon emissions ect? Unless people like having a polluted atmosphere.
  3. Tbh I'd say chocolates. Nothing goes down as well with a girl as chocolates. Either nice fancy ones or a LOAD of maybe cheaper ones that she likes. Like a huge [wagon] bar or something *drools* If that doesn't fit then I'd say either a book or a film. Find out what sort of films/books she likes and try to get something along those lines. Seriously don't waste your money on something so expensive as an iPod Touch.
  4. I always find it bizarre when an educational issue comes up and all the Americans here talk about having drug searches and school lockdowns and it leaves me wondering WTF? I don't know if it's just because I'm in a deprived area but in my last 7 years of education I've never come across teachers searching students for anything. I could bring a ton of knives into school with my bag and they wouldn't know... It's just odd to me :P Wouldn't the webcams only work if you've got the laptop turned on though? Does seem kinda creepy though.
  5. Well what I mean is the updates and corrections forum. Any of the 'actual' information that they get are put up on the guides on the website.
  6. I suppose that would be an interesting idea. While I disagree with the idea of having more than one thread I can see the usefulness it might bring for people who are just interested in the facts, such as Crew who want information for guides. For smaller updates it might not be needed - but I imagine big updates like when say, the new skill comes out, something like that would probably be needed. Though crew have forums for submitting information so... I'm kinda on the fence.
  7. Turth be told, I agree with you that I'd like to see other threads about that, but the Mods also either close/merge those topics with the existing ones about the update. They typically only want one thread about one subject. Ahh ok so its more like a tip.it policy to contain all subject matter about one subject in one place or thread? Can any tip.it mod confirm this? I can say that yes, we do prefer to keep things organised. If you have 3 threads about one topic then you have people posting the same thing three times or thinking they posted in one thread but actually it was a different one. It also keeps the forums tidier. As to if we should stop people from voicing opinions no - definitely not. We want people to be able to express themselves and their opinions no matter what they are - of course we don't let people be offensive ect, but people's opinions on say, an update, shouldn't be censored just because people don't like them. In fact having people who disagree with your point of view can be good. If you can evaluate your own opinion compared to another person's, justify and explain your reasoning, it does well for you. If someone posts something you disagree with in the future don't ignore it - question it, ask why they think this then tell them why they're wrong - or you might even realise they're right! I don't think the sort of censorship you mean should be anywhere, nevermind our forums. Also this would be better in forum updates/suggestions so I'm moving it there :)
  8. Fake I'd say. It's not been mentioned before...
  9. I was playing Impetuous Impulses just yesterday, I'm gonna have another shot and see if it's much better :) I don't know if I can be bothered searching around for a moving crop circle though. Also guys, don't whine at MHL. She is entitled to her opinion, even if you disagree with it. You can of course discuss an opposing view, but make sure there's no personal attacks.
  10. I'd say you're insane for trying, I can't even stand a slayer task of Jellies :P But it's possible of course, though possible without getting bored is a different question.
  11. Anyway I think the timeline for it is off. Mechscape was only cancelled last year, but the skill has been in creation for at least 2 years if I remember correctly. So unless they drastically changed the skill half way through, which I doubt, to become a concept that was in Mechscape, it wouldn't make sense on that level. Also space travel in a medieval setting doesn't really seem to work for me.
  12. I've changed the title of the thread so that it's less misleading. You have an idea for the new skill, you don't actually *know* it. We don't want people thinking you actually know and clicking the thread misleadingly. You can change it to something a bit different if you like, but try not to say you conclusively have proof and know the new skill.
  13. PM any article submissions to Mirrorforced or another Editorial Panel member

  15. Yes but where would you get willing slaves the whole year round? I voted for signatures and avatars ^_^
  16. Scarily enough I agree with Libs too :ohnoes: I like the compromise but I think having to change it because people were whining is a bad thing. If they'd have done it from the start it would have been decent - but the fact they changed it because people whined does my head in. I don't think it degrades the quality of the content too much - unless they set the slayer points cost too low. Jeez, I wasn't aware of how much of a social leper I am around here. You're not a social leper, it's just most of the things you say I, and many other people, disagree with. So it's bizarre for us to be agreeing :P :D I agree too that people are trying to make it too stupidly hard for people without a cape. Don't be so unreasonable. =/

  18. I got one of those too today.
  19. When I was much much younger I sold Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards if I remember correctly :P Nowadays I babysit for a family around the corner. It only makes me £10-£15 when I do but it's not difficult.
  20. Try not to bump really old threads in the future. Bumping with new relevant information is allowed, but you would be better off creating your own thread if you wish to discuss this idea :) ~Locked
  21. Erm... gratz on your potential mute anyways? and boo you for making people cry. Another misguided player... Half of the RuneScape players don't strive for player-interaction, but that doesn't mean you must ignore them just because they don't talk much. And you are thinking that everyone who plays runescape is taking random statements seriously and sensitively. That's exactly what large clans and people with full friend lists want you to think. However, my short test proved those illusions wrong. Not everyone in RS is acting as a little kid taking random words said by total strangers to heart. And about muting, potential is the keyword. I have never been muted and wont ever be. No they won't take it to heart because they'll think you're just being a complete idiot not worth wasting their time telling 'Shut up' to. <_< I know I'd not waste my time responding to someone just shouting insults at me that I don't even know. Some people will take offence to it though so don't be so confident about not being muted. And you can't blame them. Sure, not everyone wants to have player interaction, I'm personally one of these people. I'm happy to go about my business in silence. However just because I'm not talking it doesn't mean that I'm not listening.
  22. Did the quest A Soul's Bane and got some more updated pictures! ^_^ Also pictures you might want to use, if you want to add them: Fighting the Confusion monsters: Fighting the Hopelessness monsters: You can resize & use them as you like
  23. I hate it. It should go burn in hell with Twitter and all those other social networking sites. If I wanted to go on Twitter I would - just keep it out of my Mail please <_<
  24. I'd guess the Gnome stronghold near the agility course & spirit tree.
