  1. That looks like my kitchen! Only we don't have a table :D
  2. Lol filler... how can you have filler in a game? It's not a t-show. I've said this countless times and I'll probably say it countless times again. Not all content should be High-level. Do you know why? Because not all players are high level. It's amusing but it almost makes me cry at the same time. People will whine about how there's no high level content but conveniently forget that we had quite a lot in the second half of last year AND the bits of high level content we've had this year. Also, I didn't realise that you couldn't do lower level content just because you're high level. I wonder too, how high levels who have had tonnes of patience while levelling up can't wait weeks, or even a few months, for high level content. And anyway, unless you've completed everything (I mean everything) you don't NEED content, you just want it. I think that high level players deserve some content, but I DON'T think that they are more deserving or 'better' than those 'low level noobs'. That noob pays for subscription just like you do, he's funding Jagex just like you do - possibly even more than you do since a lot of high levels I've found pay the lower subscription price because they were still subscribed when they put it up. And really, if you hate it so much, then leave. Nobody is forcing you to play Runescape. If it's so utterly terrible then quit.
  3. I'm extremely sad since I can't get mine until my birthday in a few weeks. I'm still going to keep trying to pester my mum and dad to let me get it sooner but so far all I've been able to do is go into ASDA and go Hauu~ and read the box :( Also they had HG at #1 spot then SS at #2. I am very annoyed >:(
  4. This argument stops here, okay. Any more going on calling people pretentious or arrogant is simply going to be removed. This thread is for the update, not for squabbling.
  5. Yeah, why worry about the top 1% who've spent years playing this game? All of my level 90 friends deserve the bulk of the content! I think that importance needs to be placed on high level content for the people that reach it, but that wanting these updates every week is just selfish. I think that high levels do need to have content but it gets on my nerves how people complain about it every week. Not everyone is high level you know, and just because someone doesn't have 99's it doesn't mean that they are worth less than you and deserve content less than you. I don't want to get into the argument though, since I say it every week people's attitudes never change.
  6. I really keep forgetting that Jagex HAVE to release big quests and high level content every week. <_< Someone needs to remind them that catering to a majority of players is such a silly idea.
  7. Those white ones are to die for <3:
  8. It's not even been released yet <_< Give it a chance, it actually sounds quite interesting imo.
  9. Just because the USA is on holiday doesn't mean that all the games companies will stand to attention and deliver something. Jagex are British, so therefore they'll base themselves on the British holiday's not American IMO, otherwise most people will just think they're selling out and becoming an Americanised British company and I'd really hate that to happen. This is the last week of school/college/uni for pretty much everyone in the UK so therefore after next week will be prime time; however the Easter event will come then. TBF I'd say they'll co-ordinate it with the end of term for everyone, which is ~end of june usually. It's probably a much safer bet to release it then when they'll receive an influx of kids and adults playing more. My 2 cents: Wait till June and see. It's not that hard, and it's not too far away. tbh, I think which ever country has the most members, is the one Jagex will be paying attention to. Or, none of them at all. Sure they have players more in the USA, but their employees are all British, they're a British company and it would be rash (and stupid) of them to suddenly just decide to go on USA times because the USA is bigger than the UK. Thinking about it I don't imagine the skill for at least 3 weeks. If it doesn't come out this week, then the next few weeks are going to be Easter related events. Tbh the prime time for the skill would be June/July since that's when we break up and exams are over. Kids have more free time.
  10. Reading that makes me feel very depressed. Poor Runescape character :( I know :( Poor little Erika Furudo will be hungry :( Anyway, working on a second fishing rock atm. It seems to hate me <_<
  11. We are Borg. Resistance is futile. Couldn't help myself  Anyway, confession... I've not applied for my student finance yet which I'm going to need to pay for University next year and I really need to =/
  12. There could still be a strange event happen but just not be hinted to. None of the earlier ones were.
  13. I can tell you as a pure and simple fact that there are FAR more people pleased by the NHS than not. Of course you hear more horror stories, the millions of others sat at home happy about the NHS are never heard. Yes, you may have to wait a little longer than private healthcare to get surgeries or treatment that isn't life saving. There is a lot of criticism of the dreaded 'endless waiting lists' which is slightly true. You will have to wait, but in exchange for practically FREE healthcare for EVERYONE. A system that allows the poor to get healthcare free, but also gives those who can actually afford it a chance to go private. I'm not exactly sure if that's how it will work over in the US, but over here if you really hate the NHS and can afford it, then you go private. Otherwise, for people like me, you go along day to day feeling happy that you don't have to pay for all your asthma prescriptions (untill I'm 18 anyway), and that when you fall ill in winter with a chest infection it isn't going to cost your parents anything. For people like my mum and dad who could never afford all the medicines they're on in a million years, never mind all the hospital and GP visits, the NHS is a lifesaver. I just hope this works out for you America, just don't get the wrong idea from 'horror stories'. Free healthcare for everyone has always seemed such a natural thing to me, I was extremely confused when I found out the US doesn't have it.
  14. I used to enjoy the abbreviations like PZNCUREBRRY - I used to pronounce it as 'pzn' cure berry  Does seem odd if they've kept those abbreviations with the extra space they have now.
  15. There is no magic stone since it's classed as a combat skill.
  16. Depends. If you enjoy the other roles then I'd say go for it, if you're really only into one role (like I am with Healer) then I wouldn't bother too much.
  17. Aww, where's the fun in that? Safe, organised and monitored fun is the best kind  Serious though, enough about MHL's pants and back on topic :P Tbh I'd love to be able to change spellbooks but it doesn't exactly fit. I'm not expecting anything huge from it because if there was it would be the end of Runescape all over again according to the RSOF rants. Because those 'nub' skillers got something good for once
  18. I can easily predict member's reactions: OMG Jagex are letting thousands of noobs into the forums! RIP RSOF. (Like it ever had a life anyway  ) Can't say this'll matter to me since TIF is all the forum I need :P
  19. Well they should. Newbs have WAY TOO MUCH GOD DAMN CONTENT! I got my girlfriend into this game and she can't complete it all at a low level. Impossible. She killed the damn vampire at level 40 something. I was trying to freak her out saying it was really hard and she killed it in like 3 hits. And if you're a newbie member? I won't even go there... Because it's not like high levels have tonnes and tonnes of content already is it? Jagex have been giving high level content updates for months now, and the moment they release something for the low levels it's suddenly 'OMG LOW LEVELS GET EVERYTHING.' <_<
  20. I wish people wouldn't whine just because - for once - an update wasn't for you. They've done so many high levelled updates over the past few months, give them a chance to do something for the low levels and F2P for once <_< You lot have plenty of content to play with for this week, be nice and share Jagex with the 'noobs'. I am, however, expecting a big update for next week. As someone pointed out, we are due for another revelation in regards to the strange power and the land mass off the Wildy.
  21. I used to play around 'the block' with the kids around us, which were mainly all guys. We used to make up games like 'Bomberman' which doesn't really relate to the actual video game, but where we had some random amount of time to run to the 'storehouse' and pick up armour for our shelter then run, put it on the 'shelter' then get more before a bomb landed and if anyone was outside of the shelter when the bomb landed then they died or something. It was basically just us running back and forth XD Then we played Goodies and Baddies - obviously. You would collect leaves for food, sticks & twigs for wood and gravel & stones for stone which you'd use to sort of like... build some sort of army then you'd go over and kick the other people's food and stuff over. Our main game ended up being Pokemon 2: The Undiscovered World. It was a mixture of Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh! that I made up and it was so epic. At that time we were all into Pokemon cards and the games too. I got Pokemon Crystal as my first (and favourite) Pokemon game. Tbh I've decided I want to take that game with me all the way to the grave. I never tire of it and it'll always remain as a vessel for my soul <3: Other than all that we used to ride bikes, climb up onto low roofs using bins, climb trees, have water fights in summer. We used to use chalk on the paths in our estate and create roads... good times. Good times.
  22. I thought it was well done and a good idea. I totally don't get why people got so melodramatic at so called 'Judex' for having the thing degrade that little bit quicker. Sure you might have lost some experience - but it's experience you wouldn't have gotten in the first place if they hadn't done this. Personally I found it a bit of a flop. I liked getting the experience but I really hated how much pressure it put on you to OMGGRINDGRINDGRIND. I didn't even bother logging on yesterday because I couldn't be bothered with it.
  23. Do we even have enough bloggers on Tip.It who write actual articles or posts about RS rather than just recounting levels to make a regular thing out of it? I doubt it tbh.
  24. Well that fact is obvious - but not that I'm a Noob moderator :D As for this I'm not sure. Tbh I don't think there are enough Runescape based blogs that aren't just recounting levels to do something like that.
  25. Racheya called a meeting and chewed our butts out after last week. :P She can be mean when she cracks her whip. Oy! You should be working not fraternising! Get back to work! On topic: I enjoyed both articles this week, particularly Stormrage's which definitely echoes some of my feelings on the subject of Dragon Weapons. I didn't know the DYK either - though I tend to sell my shards on the GE personally (not that I end up selling many shards :P)
