Moving this to the Fun Orb forum since even if they posted it on the RS news page it still belongs in the Fun Orb section. I wish Jagex would keep their FunOrbs out of my Runescape :P

Tbh I don't think it's a problem. They shouldn't, in an ideal world, be forcing them to praise God but do you know what? Kids just don't give a crap. They couldn't give a crap about God. They're not being brainwashed or anything so conspiratorial. They just don't realise and don't care. Kids can think for themselves, though. I went to a Church of England Primary school for 7 years, but I never really was interested in God because I didn't care, and when I did think about it I didn't just blindly take their word for it. Since when did kids listen to teachers??

Eeeeh I don't like it. My eyes aren't drawn straight to the updates anymore, I don't particularly find it appealing. Also the witch looks creepy to me. Like she's being possessed. :unsure:

I mean doing floor 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... ect - all the way down to the lowest floor (repeating a floor if need be to get the level) then once I'm at the final floor, reset then do it all again?

So would just going from 1 down to the very lowest dungeon then resetting and going back from 1 - lowest again, be decent in Experience terms with prestige? I kiiind of get it.

Using it for RC experience is no longer viable since it's gone from 10xp per 10 Death runes to 2xp per 10 Death runes. It was fun while it lasted :( *sigh*

What I find so humorous is that nobody remembers how often they ban people for this and how easily it is detected. Are the only thoughts in their head "OH WOW I CAN GET FAST RC XP NOW!!!" Fat lot of good that xp will do if you're banned. Indeed. It's impossible to think those sort of xp gains are legit. I think it was just a mistype on the part of whoever was changing the xp to 2 and they put 20000 instead.

Am I the only one that thinks posting screencap evidence of bug abuse is NOT the best idea in the world? :rolleyes:

Please everyone DON'T CRAFT RUNES. This is obviously a bug and you mustn't take advantage of it - otherwise you're greatly risking being banned.

It was pretty easy experience. You could just sit there and craft then go browse the forums or something.

They said change instead of nerf, I thought 10% is bad enough, how much worse can it go? I am betting on a buff actually. Doubt it, tbh. It'll go down to 1xp per 10 instead of 10xp per 10. If they DO increase the exp I'd be surprised but pleased.

They're going to nerf the RC exp FML :(

There's one thing I find quite curious. I've been soloing a lot of dungeons at complexity 6, It's quite funny though how it always spawns me some sort of mage clothing. I'm interested in how it knows I want to mage. Is it because of the staff/runes I have bound? Or does it calculate the most predominantly used combat skill? It might just be chance, but it's pretty curious imo.

No it's not, but look at this: 1) SOL = Call it Staff of Saradomin 2) Demons looking like Kril 3)...will these "copies" continue? Just saying. Personally i like new artwork. It's a shame, because i am VERY sure there are many great artists in Runescape community. Jagex could work with them to make new concepts of monsters. I mean seriously, who wouldn't like to draw a drawing and see it be released into a game? Or better, get rewarded for it with life time membership if Jagex feels generous! I think Jagex have a pretty good computer graphics department anyway, but that would be an interesting idea. I don't think that 2 items are necessarily a pattern though since there a lot of people think the SoL is linked to the Saradomin Sword so it looking like it would make sense.

I'm sure there are newer bosses further down, there are quite a lot of new monsters in this thing so while it IS cheating a bit, eeeeh it's not the end of the world.

They definitely came up with it themselves. As I said already. Jagex don't browse FT, and if they did they've had this skill in production waaaaaay before FT was even created.

I fail to see the point? You think Jagex come to Falador Tavern? You think they haven't had this skill planned for a BIT longer than mid 2009? :rolleyes:

So far it's pretty good. I went for a game with a group from TET and we had a good time. The level 4 complication thing (the word totally eludes me) was really quite hard but it was exciting. We killed the boss 30 seconds before the system update :D It doesn't really seem like something you can grind, which is hugely good. My only qualm so far is that it's quite difficult to tell what's a good item or not without examining it. Putting the level in the name would be nice, but I think once we're used to the names they'll be as common for us as Bronze to Barrows.

I do think group based activities can be an aquired taste, but it's an MMO - the multiplayer bit has to come in at some point.

you do have to work in groups, and it's fun that way anyway Well then I just hope you don't have to find your own people then, since I certainly don't know enough :P I'm going to reserve all judgements until I've tried it later on. Just thank God that I'm having an injection today and I get to leave college early. I WAS planning to come back in for a lesson but I don't think so now :P

OMFGOMFGOMFGNEWSKILLOMGOMGOMG WHYYY must I be at college where Runescape is filtered!?!? *scream* I don't know what to think yet, except big props to Ren for being epic as usual and predicting the skill. I just hope you don't HAVE to work in groups, but I need to read more. I'm in a state of shock atm... :ohnoes:

Of course I understand it, but I don't see what exactly it's standing on principle against? Standing for the right to see boobs on Evony ads? Or just standing on the principle that Jagex fails and even being near them is automatically bad? If the deal made things worse for Tip.It then I'd agree. If the deal said 'we give you stuff and then we want you to remove anything saying things against Jagex', then I'd stand on principle too. But standing against what though? Having a better community?
