Agility... maybe? *shrugs* I like Elemental Workshop 3 though - sounds pretty likely.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Just went to watch Prince of Persia at the cinema today. It was all right, not as good as the game though (of course!) :)

Abortion in Canada
Life isn't University. If you are never born, you don't know what you're missing. You can't feel bad or be at any disadvantage for not being alive because you're not conscious. The foetuses aren't alive, or even dead. They're just a mass of cells until they emerge from the womb as a human being. I think this is what the abortion debate boils down to - is a foetus a life?

Abortion in Canada
Simple answer: two wrongs don't make a right. Yes, I would. It isn't the child's fault that its conceived. I've listened to several prominent pro-life speakers who were conceived in rape, talking about how thankful they were that their mother loved them enough to give birth and give up for adoption. When I get the time, I'll search for it on YouTube. By the way, in your hypothetical case: becoming pregnant from rape is incredibly rare. Rape is a very traumatic experience, one which stresses the victim to an incredible amount. I'm not saying it wouldn't happen or hasn't happened, I am saying its less than a chance in a million to occur. It's not the mother's fault either that it was conceived. You'd force her to carry the child for 9 months? Pregnancy and childbirth are stressful enough for a woman, imagine having to give birth to your rapist's child? And just because someone is 'stressed' doesn't mean they won't conceive a child. It's not incredibly rare at all.

Today...
My parents used to do crap like that. I used to go on the computers at school as much as I could and, no matter what, make it look like living without the internet was easy. Like, if they said they're turning it off and you can't convince them otherwise, shrug and just say "Oh, I'll go read a book then." If they don't think that you're addicted then they're much less likely to ban you from the computer

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Last night I got into a conversation with a friend and concluded that I'm terrified of everyone, everything and of change. I also concluded that I don't actually have a life, something that I want to change. I've never done anything stupid or spontaneous or teenage, because I always expect the world to have ended when I get home. I just hope that I can change. Maybe get a job over summer, or if I can't then wait until I've got more confidence from being at University next year. After the conversation I went on an impulsive clean of one of my boxes of crap, cleaned out about a half of it. It's weird, I don't usually tidy up until I get a sudden impulse to, then I'm quite happy to do it. *shrugs*

Putting the runescape applet into my own swing based application
I'm afraid that it is against Jagex's rules to load the applet inside of another application, you MUST just navigate to the proper game URL. We can't provide you with help on going around this, as it is against Jagex's rules. I've removed a post giving you advice on this, but I'll leave the thread open. Please, nobody post information on how to do it as the post will simply be removed. People can, however, help with any other problems. And as Y_guy asked, what is it exactly that you want to do? The more people know, the more they can help.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
JaGeX: "Wellllp! We did our update for the month! We'll be eatting tea and crumpets today and tomorrow so we can't even go to our site and post whether or not there will be an update. Have fun playing in dung guys." You fail at mocking British people. They don't "eat" tea. They "drink" it. Next time you try to own someone, please make sure you don't make yourself look stupid. Aw, poor you. Taking offense to my writing? Perhaps I should've said "drinking tea and crumpets." But you can't drink crumpets, can you? I guess you're one of those people who would say both; "drinking tea and eatting crumpets", even though it's unnecessary because people will get the general point. I was well aware of what I was posting. I'm sure you are not smart enough to understand so I'll rewrite it for you. JaGeX: "Wellllp! We did our update for the month! We'll be drinking tea and eatting crumpets today and tomorrow so we can't even go to our site and post whether or not there will be an update. Have fun playing in dung guys." P.S Definition of eat: a. To take into the body by the mouth for digestion or absorption. Makes more sense than drinking tea and crumpets, does it not? I'm going to assume that you mean eating not eatting. And I'm going to assume that nobody is going to reply to this because it would mean getting off topic :) Let's not get into a flamefest, everyone. But yeah, there isn't going to be a Twitter hint tonight (11:43, already). But I think there's a good chance of them posting it tomorrow morning. We can just wait and see.

Pokemon Thread
OMFG those graphics look SO sexy. Battles look really much more... dynamic looking than they used to. Everything does, I'm really stoked that they've managed to do a pretty good graphics upgrade to everything. Shame they couldn't have done all this for HG/SS though >.<

So, what is your current project(s)
I've been working on making a Visual Novel in the Visual Novel language Renpy (based in Python) for the past few months. The language to create the script, show characters ect is really easy, but the last few days I've been changing the GUI (preferences page, main menu, ect). It's taken a fair few hours, but I'm quite pleased that I've managed to get most of it done. The imagemapping system in Paint Shop Pro has made things easier (I don't have to figure out coordinates myself), and I'm very pleased with it so far :)

Reputable Web Hosts
000webhost's free plan is what I used for 2 websites I run. Be wary if you plan on using a forum system though, since everything was perfect until they deleted my account since the forum was running slow mySQL queries without me knowing and this happened enough times so they deleted it - year's worth of forum postings deleted fml. But other than that, they've always been great. I would recommend them if you don't plan on running a very high traffic site.

Wireless Network Security Help Required
HD video, torrents, gaming... you can do it if you try. Though that's quite incredible  Anywho, on topic, definitely sounds dodgy to me and I do recommend you try to ban any MAC addresses that you don't recognise. Also, do you know any neighbours that you have which are pretty internet/technologically savvy? Either that, or someone is regularly coming by in a car or something. Having someone be on your internet connection is extremely dangerous, they could be downloading illegal materials and it would be your parents seen as responsible for things.

Setting up/running a forum
^ good advice for if you want to host it on a server. The process *is* simple, but you need to have the basic ability to use FTP and things like that. IF you don't want to, you can get pre-setup forum systems. Invisionfree used to be the big one, but nowadays Zetaboards is a free, pre-setup forum system that is pretty similar to the old Invision and phpBB. The only problem is that they tend to come with advertisements built in, otherwise they're pretty fully functioning. I used to run pre-setup forum systems myself for quite a while, until I learned to install phpBB.

Where you live ...
Eh, crappy chav infested council house estate for me :) It's a pretty small town, but it's right next door to Bolton which is fairly large. It's also really close to Manchester, which is probably the only good thing about living here. Tbh it's horrible, horrible, horrible. I can't wait to move away from all these idiot dolites, chavs and all the kids that have been bullying me since I can remember. I do, of course, have friends. And there some nice people, but as soon as I'm able I want to move to Manchester or Salford. The weather is crap, the people are crap, the housing is crap...

UK Politics Discussion
But given how the discussion remaining is about the results of the election and its resulting promises on policy is it not still about the election? Well, kind of, but there's nothing wrong with it being a general politics discussion thread now :) I think there's often not enough discussion on UK politics here :)

Your phone: is it your property?
Eh, just wanted to point out that mobile phones do exist without costing hundreds of pounds. Mine cost £30, my brother had one that cost £15. The supposed 'cost' is just people's own desires for a mobile phone - and just because *everyone* has an iPhone these days... doesn't mean they do. If you understand my meaning.

Renamed the title of the thread so that it's a bit more relevant now the election is over

UK Politics Discussion
What about their immigration politics don't you like? (just a question - don't know enough about UK to give you a pro/no reply) What I don't like, not sure if this is the same for Hex, is how they've cleverly made people think that the arbitrary cap on immigration applies to ALL immigrants, not just non-EU ones. So yeah, cap non-EU immigrants. It's not going to do a THING to stop immigration from the EU.

UK Politics Discussion
Rofl XD Yep, the result is out... all we have to do now is wait for their coalition to break down  The Tories and... well... any other Party don't go well together.

Region specific DVDs?
I have experience with this! Good idea is to google your DVD model with 'region hack' or 'region 0 coding'. The Amazon website actually has information on this also, if you can find it. I came across it when googling to make mine Region 0. Another alternative is to download VLC player, it will play Region 1 disks, I promise you :) No messing around with changing region settings.
