It's not exactly because the game is a chore, rather a few certain tasks; ones which we realise can be AFK'd for a short while. We just end up pushing the boundaries to the point in which the Logout timer catches us. Like I mentioned in my other post, like in other games, I would like the option to go AFK for a toilet, without having to log back in again XD (But hey, that's just wishful thinking) Anyway... to those with a big enough monitor, and bored of skilling, here is what I suggest you do: - Resize the windows so you have some nice empty space to work with. - Either read game guides/forums - Load up a Movie/YouTube video - Do some homework - Talk with friends on another means of IM Works for me :P

Sorry to thread hijack :(, but do you actually need to carry the book to get points for spying on a penguin? And Yes, the penguins are awesome things; I got a bunch of summoning XP from it :D

Although I don't see any harm in being allowed to stockpile them for a rainy day; I don't feel it needs to be changed. I mean it doesn't take that long to obtain the gloves from the mini-game. If it bothers you that much, just stockpile on the points, so you only need to make the trip down to good old Varrock to obtain a new set. This really doesn't take so much time out of your apparent RC'ing occupation; IMO it is good to have a break every now and then :P And to everyone arguing about this grammar stuff... common, it's Christmas, lets all chill instead of arguing over a forum - it's not like voicing your opinion and bashing someone is going to make any difference other than cause a bigger flaming match... Heh, wow, I just realised the expensive side really does come from the helmet/weapons of barrows sets XD I can see myself gearing up sooner than expected. Should I bother about purchasing these barrows weapons? - Currently I have a whip and a dragon scimitar, are these barrows weapons going to be better? Thanks.

Well I intend to use a slayer helmet the moment I get 400 slayer points :D I just started my slayer task with Chealdar, was around 120 trolls :) so not so bad. And I'm currently saving up for some barrows armour with the money made from farming in between slayer tasks :) So soon I will be able to mix & match on armour to get a decent set-up Thanks all for your input, it has helped a great deal :)

Aha, I see there is a lot of controversy between the barrow armour. :thumbsup: Hmmm, well I guess that leaves me having to experiment between the lot :D I will probably try with the cheaper sets first (Verac / Torags ) Thanks all for the help :) And I will go and test out Chaeldar after my current task of 94 ice warriors :P

My stats are in my signature, if that helps in anyway - I ask this question because I have no idea on the difference... 2) Slayer masters... I am currently using Vannaka, my question is, should someone at my low level move up to Chaeldar yet? Back in the day (like 4 years back - on my first F2P account) I figured I would go exploring in the wilderness with my full rune. Half way in I bump into a group of 3 PK'ers, and start getting Fire Blasted from all sides. Scared to loose my uber expensive Rune Set, I ran deeper into the wilderness and met a team of like 10 PK'ers, all working together :( Needless to say I ended up loosing most of my stuff, and I remember being so sad I PM'ed a few of the people in the team, and one of them decided to give me my cape back (I was so happy) That was pretty much the scariest part of my Runescape life. In between that I manned up on games like Doom, HL2, and GTA SA... I came back to Runescape a MAN! :P

A feature like that sounds great to me. Because sometimes if I even go down to grab my phone, or take a drink, it will log me out (And I don't fancy running down 3 flights of stairs, doing death defying stunts over the sofa, just to grab my drink - in the hope I would get back quicker) Just something as simple as not having to re-enter my password (which is long...) for a game session would be decent enough, or at least give me the option. That way Jagex don't have to worry about me complaining at them if my dog or my parent decide to go hijack my Runescape account :)

I currently going for a Rune Defender as I write this (Currently on black, and used around 1.5k tokens) I agree/respect the fact for you being annoyed, having killed so much and not seen any reward would be annoying. But I don't think they should change it, having it as one of those random/hard to obtain items makes it more fun and enjoyable for when you actually succeed with the task :P Happy Christmas BTW :) - Nucking
