To add, was a 2S3L with trio. =). -
Do the goblin priests with bloom on... Your screen will just stay completely white. You can still see your interfaces to disable it though... I've not heard of a way to change them. >.<

This. Lol. Because Jagex and their 0 antialiasing, standard detail teaser images are sooo well known for their phenomenal quality. :P. Oh Cherry-poo.

I'm sure you already know this, Stridor, but the controls change based on whether the person loading the RuneScape applet last logged in using F2P or P2P. Well, I found that to be true in the Jagex client, I haven't looked into that area in browsers. Maybe that could be the issue? EDIT:

I wouldn't advertise a FC that would be a risk to my users. I have been using Sell Dung for weeks now (selling and buying) with not one problem. I had also asked around in the dungeoneering community that I know, including members and clans such as DGS, EoE, etc, and none of them had any issues with Sell Dung. In fact, many of them were ranks and sold there. They were one of the two FCs that no one really had anything bad to say about. Matt and Tati being great friends and reliable people, I went with them. :P.

Progress Report 1.0.4.0 I've been getting asked about my progress on DGSweeper 1.0.4.0. I'll be using this post to post updates as I get time to work on it. My time's been a bit limited to put into DGSweeper lately, but I have been making slight progress. This is a build from scratch... So unlike updates, each of the below will have to be recreated. It's not a full list of things to be de,, but rather the most important. Create applet locator Create auto-updater * Create DGConnect key handler Create DGConnect map handler * Create DGConnect window Create download callback function Create download callback window Create hotkeys/hotstrings * Create hotkeys/hotstring handler Create key/gatestone window Create legend locator Create legend/timer window Create main thread Create map locator Create map window Create math functions Create message handler Create objects Create object handlers Create position function Create potion/riddle window Create tray menu * Create window classes There are many changes you'll be seeing in 1.0.4.0. Tabbed features - several features will now contain tabs. This was to save space an allow for me to have areas to include new features in the future without using more space. If I wanted to add another hotstring of some sort, for example, I can add a tab to the potion/riddle window. Gatestones - You'll be able to place colored gatestones on the map for each player, plus a group gatestone. Brand new look - For the first time since DGSweeper's creation, I'll be breaking away from the RuneScape look for something a little more modern. Faster startup - I've developed a way that will allow DGSweeper to start up instantaneously. It'll no longer need to retrieve resources each time, unless they've changed. A better, safer, auto update - There's nothing unsafe about the current update system unless Tip.It itself were to be compromised. Even then highly unlikely. However, we'll be making it 100%, so that even if myself or Tip.It is compromised, you'll still be safe. Bye bye CGUI - Broke away from using CGUI and developed my own, faster, window classes. This should greatly speed up the DGSweeper and slim down the file size. I also spent a few hours over the past few days with Symantec (Norton), Trend Micro, and VBA32. Norton and VBA32 false positives have been corrected. Trend Micro gave me a time frame of 48 hours but for some reason have yet to correct it. If you're using Trend Micro, you may find that you'll have to add the following URLs to your exception (white) list: http://www.tip.it/runescape/dgs/DGSweeper[Caution: Executable File] http://www.tip.it/runescape/dgs/resource.dll I you have any question and/or suggestions that you'd like to see included, feel free to post and I'll be sure to try and get it out with 1.0.4.0!

Git 'er done, Cherry-poo! Did you find meleeing in Torva was easier? I'd prefer to melee, even in Bandos if I had to, over ranging in any gear.

I'm home from work now and can confirm that everything is running smoothly now. Thanks to those who notified me so I could fix it and get it resolved!
-
Update: It's fixed. If anyone is still having problems, please post below. I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, as I'm still at work, but I believe the problem has been resolved. Please comment as to whether or not it's working for you!
-
Update: I've sent an e-mail to someone who can fix it for me whilst I'm at work. I'll let you know if and when I get a response, as I can check my e-mail there.

The DGSweeper will be experiencing some downtime today due to a technical difficulty I'm having. I hope to have it back up today. For those who have been using it, how long has it been down? I've just woken up and knowing this might help me. I have the last logged download at 01:47:47 GMT. Is this about correct? The reason it's down is that it's getting an empty response as to the location of it's resources. The problem that this causes it that when I get it working users may have to manually update. I have to work today. Actually it's in a few minutes. But, rest assured I'll try and get my job done quickly so that I can get home and get this working for you all again. You'll all be notified of my progress, when I get home, and when I get it up and running. Please be patient and huge apologies for the downtime! Status: Fixed

I'll be making a post about this soon. Please be patient.

I freaking literally just got 118 earlier and was pretty proud. Thanks for stealing that. :P. How many tokens have you got? I guess I could say... Tokens included, how much XP do you have left to get? I've got 12-13M if you include the tokens I'll have. We should get it togther! (Trust me... Won't take me long... Been no lifing. ;)) -
There's different groups of players. Some like to dungeoneer, other prefer to pay. There's nothing wrong with paying, it's no different then paying big bucks to level other skills fast. It's all how much you're willing to pay. Hell, I love to dungeoneer. It's the biggest (probably only) reason I still play. However, when floors slow down in DGS, I can go code while paying for some floors. The friends chat I put up is very well known and very professional. I was asked several times by other friends chats over the months, but they didn't have the reputation that this one did. Plus, I write the DGSweeper to help and also advertise DGS, and a lot of them sell in it. I wouldn't expect it to bug people. It's simply letting people know they exist. The background used to be big images advertising other things. It's a lot less... Flashy... Then the other ads I've had on it in the past. :P. Remember, DGS as a clan does not encourage leeching floors. This decision was me trying to help out a group of people who've also helped me out in the past. :).
-
They've been helping me a lot the past few weeks while I've been coding and I've recently joined their friends chat. They asked and I accepted. :P. They help me out, I help them out - Good for both of us. ^^. They really are great people, Matt and Tati, and I found their friends chat really helpful. They also had a great reputation with DGS members, which is why I chose them over others. Keep in mind that DGS is not associated with leech CCs and does not endorse leeching. DGS is a clan to learn to dungeoneering efficiently and effectively.

The program retrieves a list of information from Tip.It. This includes URLs to the resource dll, the update exe, lastest version, fonts, etc. If the version number has changed, the user has the option of letting DGSweeper download an updated one from the URL it retrieved earlier. I have thought about, and am implementing, a better solution in the 1.0.4.0 rebuild. DGSweeper will only retrieve resources if they've changed.

Is it capturing your party details? What are your DPI settings? Can I see your map open? What are your anti-aliasing settings? What's your favorite color? :P.
-
I don't plan to add those abbreviations, sorry. :(. As for the others, how are the current abbreviations difficult? O_o

News Post-Upgrade Details

Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! -
I'm making it like this again: Where the names can also be displayed off the map. I didn't think there was need for a GT icon, since that's most often times being carried. The map doesn't clear at the end of the floor because a lot of the time afterward people discuss the previous floor, what went wrong and could have been done better. :P.

After some thought... Since I'm rebuilding it entirely anyways, I'm going to completely scrap the RuneScape look. I'm going to make it look and feel more professional, which will hopefully help with people's comfort in using it. With that said, he's a quick preview! Now, click the 'Legend" tab will expand/contract the legend to show all the names underneath like it used to. Names will also be able to be shown on the map as it currently does. Time will be shown on the map window. Pot/riddle will use the same tabbed window. Thoughts? :). I only did all of this tonight... So don't judge it as final yet.
-
I'm considering this: IDK though. I'm rebuilding it from the ground up for the fourth time, so I'll probably come up with something better by then. :P.
-
How would I implement it? I could make it so the key utility can switch to skills and split the up into Artisan, Gatherer, Survivalist, etc? I'm not sure. It's hard to implement without it getting ugly. A lot of people in DGS use the GoS key to mark pot doors, since the actual key doesn't exist. >.<

I've been toying with the last one trying to find a clean way of implementing it. I don't like how it bunches up either. Marking personal gatestones is on my list as well. I had skill doors included but people complained a lot about it and it was surprisingly not used often. Removing keys when doors are opened is a great idea. I've been working with someone, developing a way to predict and show what could be the largest path. This could use the same room detection method.
