  1. You have a commodore? that qualifies as extreme old-school. You win :P I don't actually own any old consoles, but my friend does. I usually play is NES or SNES, but I can't say I have a favourite game. N64 isn't really old school, but I enjoy the games from that also :) I have an Atari 2600 1977>1982 My friend would kill you for that
  2. I released my Cyndaquil I was that stupid :XD: I finished the entire game and got a Noctowl to level 100, then reset it to I could finish the game with my starter Pokemon. I traded my Noctowl to my Silver version then traded it back though, and I still have it :P
  3. It is clearly not dead. Mario's popularity is still amazingly high. I will, however, agree that they should return to making 2D games. And not remakes, just new ones. If they do not wish to return to 2D, then I say they should give up. Oh, and jumping on heads is STILL the coolest way to KO an enemy  Hehe, I still reckon they should do remakes to improve the quality of the original games, but keep them 2D. And I can't argue with jumping on your enemies heads  I personally don't think they should be so popular. Too many games :?
  4. It was started with a particular race of people in mind and targeting there flaws, so its kinda going to boil down to a racism discussion. We aren't even discussing the issue at hand anymore :? I take my leave...
  5. Green drags... Like the above post, it'll only take you a couple of hours.. 3 at the most. Do an hour each time and on the third day you'll be good to buy your armor. Good luck! Hehe, no. Green drags at CT are good but you can make up to 1M an hour rcing double nats. So in about an hour and a bit he'll have his shiny new armour :P
  6. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_training Best guide I've found for training with all the charms. Could come in handy. I wouldn't train with green's, I'd go crimson or gold charms. Blue and green take ages to get, but if you can stockpile around 100 blues, you can get quite a few levels with them :)
  7. They would only have to move the NPCs in a F2P world. So for members there's no need to change anything. un4given is a [removed]   he just got totally owned. I hate you members who say that f2p dont get updates, skillcapes, blahblahblah, pissing me off. Give it a break honestly, they will probably get skillcapes in the future because they deserve it more than a member does. They spend YEARS getting skills to 99, we spend a few months. -Please don't use inappropriate language ~Gandorf61
  8. yeh lmfao thanks for poitning out the obvious...>.> Spiders aren't good on f2p. Go flesh crawlers, they are really good exp on f2p. If you go to the room with just flesh crawlers and take a fly fishing rod with feathers, you can stay there forever. Honestly, they sound really gay but I know people with over 20M exp in strength in f2p who got it off of flesh crawlers. With your stats you probably won't need food anyway :)
  9. You wouldn't be able to effectively go GWD with your stats (at least level 85+ to get more than 3 kills a run) so I'd either go Green Dragons, Ankous or continue Slayer. If you find a large group of level 120's who will let you go Bandos with them though you could fair quite well :)
  10. Wow, if he has enough cash or can make a bit more, he could probably buy a BGS and a blessed spirit shield  personally, from what I'm hearing, I'd go the BSS over DFS. 15M extra for (apparently) minimal bonuses over a BSS just doesn't seem worth it. And BGS is only good for GWD, even though Bandos is my favourite god
  11. There are guides on tip.it that tell you how to play and most minigames have a tutorial :)
  12. Through the Abyss Nat Runecrafting before 91 will get you around 200-300K an hour, but it's not effieicnt levelling. If you are going to get it to 99, I'd do astral runes/ZMI to 91 and then switch to Nats. If you get 57 Summoning, at 91 Runecrafting you can make about 1M an hour if you're fast enough.
  13. No, if he collects all the good drops from green dragons (herbs worth around 1.5K or more and all the dhides) he could make around 5-6M by the time he collect around 5M worth of d bones. And by collecting he isn't spending his money, he's just losing profit from each kill. Honestly? Collecting seems like a good way to go. With d bone prices set to rise even further, if you collect a good amount you could save yourself spending about 10M on prayer :)
  14. Yeah farming is probably your best bet, just grow ranarr with supercompost and you'll get 5 or more herbs a patch. You can make a decent amount of cash an hour (around 200-300K if you do it fast enough and get a decent amount of herbs).
  15. Agree 100% with you. They have really focused on updating combat of the past couple of years, and skills have slowly begun to fall behind. They continue to update PvP, add different monsters into the game, and make combat a more appealing skill, while they leave behind the one thing that made runescape separate from all other mmo's; Skills.
  16. I'm going to give my opinion, disregarding all the other mini-discussions going on in this thread. Feel free to flame the crap out of me, I'm up for a good "debate" ;) When I think f2p, the first thing that comes to mind (honestly,I swear!) is "hard-to-train skills". You try getting 99 Prayer or 99 Runecrafting on a free world. You WOULDN'T try, would you? Because it's so damn hard, thats why! If it is so hard, I reckon they deserve some recognition. Even if it is just a cape, at least they can be proud of there achievements (and having a skillcpe in f2p would be just epic ;)). And to all you members complaining about this topic; Stick it. Seriously. Just because they don't pay means they get no updates. We pay for members so we can gain access to more content, and MORE FREQUENT updates. We don't pay to make sure f2p don't get anything at all. They deserve updates just as much as we do, because they DO essentialy pay with advertisement. And they work much harder than we do to get money, train skills, and get better gear. We have it EASY. They have it HARD. So I believe they deserve some updates, no matter how big or small. Flame War BEGIN!!!
  17. But honestly speaking, what's the point of driving people to reach their goals faster? It'll make people think they've so-called "finished" the game quicker, resulting in less money for Jagex. Though the 3-4 years of membership fees in trying to "finish" the game helps. Skillcapes do seem to be the end of a skill. It's like saying, "well done, you've gotten as high as you can go in this skill. Have this cape, show off for a bit, then quit. You've finished the game." There should NEVER be an ending to an mmo. NEVER. Skillcapes are a way of saying you've finished this skill, and it shouldn't be that way.
  18. Yeah a username is harder to change than your real name essentially :?
  19. Pick up the hides and good herbs dude, bury the bones until you get a full inven, bank then go back and bury/collect.
  20. Even with an Anti-Dragonfire shield? I think any other dragon only has a max of like 6 or something. And those are dragons that are level 200+. Might wanna think that over. I think the shield should disable it that same amount. Still good idea though and a nice read. Support. Thenks for supporting  Yeah, that includes the dragonfire shield. I'll add it now. I'll look up the max hit with an anti-dragon/dragonfire shield from dragonbreath on a few dragons (probably look at KBD, green dragon, blue dragon, black dragon) and then change accordingly.
  21. Very nice, I'd love a quest like this so I can take a break from chopping down eucalyptus trees :P I especially like the idea of that little section with the teak trees, we can finally bank them :D
  22. Thanks for the support :) I reckon that'd be great, I was always planning to have it in the original lair, but my main problem was the two quests clashing. If you don't mind (and with credit) I'll use that idea you have above :) it sounds great and it'll work. Thanks, you can use it if you wish. :D Im just happy to help :D thanks again :)
  23. Thanks for the support :) I reckon that'd be great, I was always planning to have it in the original lair, but my main problem was the two quests clashing. If you don't mind (and with credit) I'll use that idea you have above :) it sounds great and it'll work.
  24. Most people find it easier to pray mage and range it. If you have decent range gear, and enough prayer pots (around 3-5) to continue praying prot mage, you won't get hit at all. And the Gnomes help a lot as well. So the demon is the easiest part of the quest. But getting up to him is a pain in the [wagon] :?
