NEW! Should skillcapes become f2p items
Apparently they have said they are, but I have no information. I thought I saw a chat with mod MMG on the topic somewhere on MS world forums, but I can't find it. I'll update with a link if I find it for you.

Best Boss Monster for me to hunt
My friend can go Bandos with 3 other people at level 93, and he does fine. He's got over 20M loot from all his trips. Bandos at your stats with a good team should be fine, also KBD with a friend and the mole are good for bird nests. You can get up to 150K from a bird nest from the seeds, which is pretty darn ecent. Of course you'd have to be pretty lucky :)

Boss Monsters
All the bosses in Runescape are easy compared to WoW, when I was raiding with a 25-man group we'd go up against the most badass monsters in the game. Very difficult, but the payout would be extremely good. In Runescape, I find easy boss monsters give a decent payout (especially gwd...) and the harder ones (like DK) give some pretty [cabbage] drops tbh, considering how hard they are. I've seen Corporeal beast drops, they are the highest-selling items in the game (even though it requires about 20 people to take down effectively, thats still a lot of dough. 300M divided by 20 people with coinshare 15,000,000 and you can take it down pretty easily with a team that size). I'd like to see the difficulty of a lot of the boss monsters raised to a "fairly hard" level, so it takes a decent amount of time and effort to kill it. I'd also like to see some more strategy involved in fighting boss monsters, maybe giving the boss multiple attacks, causing you to have to quickly change between protecton prayers while healing, killing the minions, AND watching your prayer? That would be very decent and a good challenge. Of course, the drops for these monsters would be improved, so that you recieve just about the same payout as before (so around 1M an hour if you gather the average amount of cash you get in 5 hours). Also, allowing a group to select the difficulty of the monster they are fighting before they enter the fight would be good. So, lower levelled groups can have a normal boss, and the higher levels can have a harder boss to fight but a better payout. That way, it's fun, challenging, fair, and worth it.

Skillcapes - Advantageous or Disadvantageous?
I'm kinda half-half on this one. I'll go through why. People were getting 99 skills before capes came out, either because they loved the skill, were making money, or wanted bragging rights. That was always going to happen. But with the release of skillcapes, more and more people are rushing to get one, because it SHOWS people you have 99. Honestly, before skillcapes came out, if you had 99 Runecrafting and said it, people would just go "stop lying noob" and laugh at you. The same would apply to any other skill. Once skillcapes came out, people had a reason to achieve level 99. Of course, they wouldn't want to spend a year on "Runecafting". Oh no. They had to go for the "easy" skills such as fletching or cooking. This causes the prices of the finished product, and the materials required to make them, to almost cross paths. The goods required to make the finished product rise in price as everyone buys, and the price of the finished product falls as people start to sell (exactly why raw food is more expensive than cooked food). So, one plummets, one rises, and eventually the raw materials end up costing more. While some profit can be made from 99 Fletching if you make yew longbows, making magic longbows can be just as expensive as cooking, costing almost 5M from 85-99. Some could say this isn't anything to do with the race for a skillcape. Of course it is. People want the fastest route, so they make magic longbows instead of yew longbows, spending that 5M to get there "achievment" quicker. Now, most of what I have said is negative. Now here comes the positive. Those who achieved 99 Runecrafting, Fletching, Cooking, Strength, Slayer, Thieving, etc. who didn't do it "just for the cape" still have the fulfillment of getting the skill to 99, but the cape allows them to show others there achievment. You'd be surprised how many people actually say "nice cape" to me despite it been an untrimmed fletch :) Im my personal belief, the negatives outweigh the positives, but in the end I can't relly make up my mind. I achieved a 99 that I enjoyed, and I'm getting it to 25M exp as well. I'm proud of my achievment, and I'm proud I got one of my favourite skills to that "holy grail" that is 99. But, I didn't do it for the cape. In the end, those who didn't do it for the cape, but did it for the achievment, are the ones who should wear it with pride. EDIT: Forgot I posted here ages ago :? well this post is a bit more constructive :)

Some achievement capes not that "special" anymore.
Thank you dude! I love you now some guy posted on my blog accusing me of getting 99 Fletch just for the cape. I didn't really care about the skillcape. It's just a cape that about 70K people have. I did it because I really enjoy the skill and I had a lot of fun getting it to 99 (yes rofl, I enjoy fletching about 5 hours a day. Shoot me.) Honestly, I'm sick of people assuming I did it for the cape because some noob lvl 85's wanted a skillcape to look "awesome". Out of the 70,000 people with a fletching skillcape, ask how many like the skill. About 69,000 of them will say they hated it. You have to search up to rank 1000 to see people with more than 13M exp. and I reckon, if you enjoy a skill, you will just keep training it. I'm not making much sense probably, but yeah I'm sure you get what I mean. Only a small handful of people actually enjoy getting 99 Fletch/Cook, and those people are given a bad image with all the other noobs.

Taking it too far
1) Is this normal behavior for the slightly above-average gamer? Ummm, depends. If you are a hardcore gamer and focus on stuff non-stop (like me, see below) then yeah its normal. 2) When does this start to become a problem? When you don't go out with friends, break daily routines like eating and sleeping, and neglect family members. 3) What's the worst example of this you yourself have done? Playing for about 30-hours non-stop (yes, I went to the bathroom and ate, no sleep, So about 29 hours overall). I was horribly addicted then. I'm getting better now, going out with friends, riding bike/scooter/etc etc etc. only playing about 6 hours a day on the holidays, but I still play till about 2 in the morning. But I stay up later anyways. If I did another 30-hour session like I did before, I'd probably go from 82 woodcutting to 86-87 at the rate that I train and the speed at which I bank. And my focus is legendary amongst my friends. Got level 92-99 Fletching in about 1 and 1/2 weeks (think less) just because I focused and didn't do anything but fletch. Had a lot of fun though

What a dull game
Then why the [cabbage] are you still hanging around if you hate runescape so much? I don't get you people. And the class thing is gay. It minimises the game, forcing you to play as all these different characters. Runescape allows the most versatility in any mmorpg in the world, completely throwing out the D&D rulebook which WoW follows to the grave (which makes it just like all the other mmo's out there. I can play Guild Wars for free, and its basically the same. Don't give me [cabbage] that it isn't, I play both Guild Wars and Runescape, and quit WoW because it was Guild Wars with gay $ 20 month fees in Australia). So, in the end, WoW has a LOT of things wrong with it. And of course fanboys and girls fail to realise these and blindly defend it with their lives. It is just a grind as Runescape is, probably more if you want all the freaking gear. And the graphics suck for all the coding they put into that game. WotLK didn't improve them either, I've seen the game at max GFX settings. And if Runescape is "nO u k3n b3 4 r4ng3rr!!!1124", WoW is "n0 omg I g0t epic mt fín awesome!!!11!11!!111!1!!111one," Only takes about ALL YOUR TIME. Runescape may be long too, It is probably the slowest levelling game in history apart from LC which is ridicuously slow, but you aren't in any rush. You are practically ordered by Blizzard to waste your life on the game to get the best gear possible. You have to anyway. 18 hours a day of BG a day for like 4 months to get the top rank and get that epic gear? NO FREAKING THANKYOU. I'm not saying you are been aggressive. You don't have to be aggressive. But you're hanging around a forum FOR Runescape basically just doing...well, I dont know what the hell you're doing. If you quit, move on and play WoW. Doesn't bother me. Just don't blatantly protect WoW when you can play HUNDREDS of other games like it. Which is exactly why it is a failing market. All mmo's are the same. It's just a matter of what you prefer. Combat? Or combat? "Ski-" COMBAT? Runescape is the only mmo out there to offer versatility. It is apart from all other mmo's. It is a market leader. As you can see by the some-80M people playing the game. I bid you good-day, fanboy/girl (whichever you are...). I'm done arguing an endless point which will just revolve until we are about to make it a personal matter, and I am in no mood to argue about another mmo on a forum that has nothing to do with other games. Neither of us are going to give in anyway, we obviously have totally different points of view. Yaaaak, yaaaaak, yaaaak, I could give you a speech. I'll cut it sweet. I dont really give a [cabbage].

I am not a god pker, but today i was XD( EDIT: More kills!)
Unless teleblocked by a pwnage mage, you should be spamming the crap out of that tele button when your about to die with good gear. But full rune I wouldn't really bother :P Nice drops you got there. I don't Pk, but I'm thinking of starting once Im a higher lvl.

Worst way to die
I'm not sure what you go through when you have M.S. but I've heard it ain't good. Still reckon torture is the worst way to go. Any death that maximises pain with a very slow ending are horrible. Burned alive yet surviving is also very painful. It could take weeks for you to die depending on the severity of the burns, but if you have 3rd degree you will probably die in a matter of hours. 3rd degree would be beyond describing I reckon. If you are burned down to the bone you can't exactly get a skin graft can you?

Abyssal Demon Head
If you have the con level (no idea what you need sorry), and like trophies, then get it put in your POH. If you like pets, then go Soul Wars, get the zeal and get the pet. Whatever you prefer. If you can't make up your mind still, flip a coin :)

Requiem's Blog - 99 Mining, possibly?
Good luck dude, its a long road but if you persist, and tell yourself "it's just a game, I wont let it beat me!" then you will make it. I look forward to seeing you with a mining skillcape :)

skills or money?
Honestly? This game revolves around skills to exist, for items to make cash, train other skills with, or get as drops from monsters which other people use. Effectively, if you had large quantities of cash (like 1B if you are super rich for instance), but nothing to do with it, I'd be dropping it on the ground. Skills are what make this game, and money wouldn't be in your bank without them. So skills for sure.

Runecrafting Vs. Slayer [The Harder 99]
In F2P prayer is the hardest hands down. The amount of clicks that you calculated (on some other thread) was just mind boggling! That was an underestimation ;) *dies* Honestly, Runecrafting is hard if you don't have patience, but if you can focus and Nat run till you are blue in the face, then you can probably get a bit more exp at slayer in the higher levels, depending on your tasks. With the Lunar spell NPC contact Slayer is MUCH faster also (no travelling required to get a new task). But Runecrafting is just about patience, determination, and been able to teleport about 5,000 times an hour. Personally, I enjoy runecrafting but It isn't very high because I neglected it (too slow to train I thought. I'm so stupid #-o). I can't really talk with my stats at the levels they are, but I know quite a few friends with slayer levels in the 90's and they find experience incredibly slow depending on there tasks. But it is good if you train farming :)

What a dull game
I played wow for about a month. Got to level 60, got some good gear from Outland when I played, then stopped. Cause I got so high in such a little amount of time for the freaking raids which everyone faps over, and they just ended up to be dungeons with more people and more enemies to kill. The game is a sink, honestly I can find better things to do on an Asian mmo (some of them are good, seriously). Raids take about 3 hours to do, and if you have something to do dueing the raid everyone just spam abuses you because you have a life. I can raid at level 40 if I want to, its essentially the same at level 60, just tougher opponents and bigger gear. The game definitely forces you to participate in group combat, which most people are okay with, until you get some 10-year old who doesn't know where f5 is on the freaking keyboard. That been said, it has a good appeal to those who love combat, but in the end, the only solo thing you can do is world PvP, which gives a [cabbage] payout (no drops, only rank, which allows you access to better gear. But to get a good rank you need to go battlegrounds, yet more group activities. Yay.) In the end, the entire game is a grind, only runescape gives you the option to grind skills or combat, which can be fun. I find combat gay anyways. And yeah, the o fans out there are really aggressive when you say [cabbage] about there game. Especially the little kids :ohnoes: So, I have just ranted and vented my fustration. Feel free to quote me and give me [cabbage] as well. I don't really care I'm sorry but I have to rant. You are on a "Runescape" forum backing up WoW? That is irony for you. WoW is combat, so its the same. ITS ALWAYS GOING TO BE THE SAME. JUST LIKE COMBAT IS GOING TO BE THE SAME ON RUNESCAPE. WoW. you can kill enemies in the middle of nowhere as a group, or kill some badass as a group. Both combat. Raid. Combat. BG. Combat. Runescape, you kill monsters to train. Combat. You go gwd with a group. Combat. OR, you can skill, minigames, hang out, do whatever. WoW is either combat or professions (I maxed herblore profession while playing also, and it is not fun at all. Incredibly gay. Sure I made good cash, but its not worth it in the end because you can make heaps of cash raiding as well). Unless you have the attention span of an amoeba and can bear to just fight your way through the entire game, getting better gear, then getting more awesome gear in the end to go PvP, then PvP for even BETTER gear, max out your best gear, and then quit, WoW is the game for you. Runescape, I find, gives more payout for spending a long time on training your skills. The amount of things you can do on a max total character on Runescape is phenomenal. WoW, at max level and best gear just means you can pwn until you kill yourself playing. You CAN compare Runescape to WoW, they are the same genre of game and both have combat. But Runescape has more to offer than just combat. Oh my God is there more to offer! So don't give crap to Runescape defending WoW. Like I said, you are all so bloody defensive of your game it drives me up the wall. So much [cabbage] is given to rs players and rs in general, do you hear us going "omfg @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@" on WoW forums? NO.

Jagex Servers SUCK
I get disconnected until about 12:00PM in the afternoon. Its incredibly gay. I get DCéd about 150 times in 4 hours. Takes me about 15 minutes to finish one inventory of eucs cause I cant even freaking bank...I'm just as POéd as you. I can't play in the mornings anymore, I sleep in till about 12:30 to get on.

What to do while alching?
Hehe I can think of a few, mainly movies, T.V. and if you like reading, read the paper (well thats what I do when wcing ). Also, reading these forums is really good. Just look around in general discussion and you will find something interesting. Fan fiction is also good.

Worst way to die
Hehehe, drowning is considered one of the most peaceful if you just damn give in and relax. Burning is horrible, painful, and slow, and hunger/starvation is pretty bad also. You just shrivel up and die basically :? Personally, I can't stand small spaces. So, I'd hate to die stuck in a small space like a vent, and people only realise that I'm up there when I start stinking up the place. Don't ask why I'd be in a vent (fixing it maybe? idk). Also, the thought of been killed by torture is a scary prospect. Skilled torturers can keep you alive for weeks, and make sure that you feel the most pain without losing too much blood. that doesnt happen to me. How can drowning be peaceful? It is basically suffocating with noboy touching you. Hold you head under water and see how peaceful it is lol Ummm, would you rather burn alive for hours to death? people can survive for hours after setting themselves on fire. Drowning is heaps peaceful compared to that. If you are prepared it is a good way to go. Torture is, hands down. If you are burned over and over, then those wounds exposed to worse trauma, such as slices, then you will die one of the most horrible ways imaginable. Drowning been a bad way to go is a joke compared to torture. Gouging of the eyes is pretty painful as well, you won't die for ages :? so is having your little friend repeatedly sliced and cut off (pain olympics comes to mind...).
