Best gear for slaying.
The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Steadfast/Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 70 prayer and King's Ransom - piety 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. For you that means: get a better cape (fire, Soul Wars, Ardougne), get 70 prayer, keep using whip + defender (but work on rapier), keep using the Barrows gear, get a (full) slayer helmet, start using piety if you didn't already, work on 68 summoning. You should remove some of the goal trackers from your sig as well, it's too tall now ;).

When you click a dreadnip in your inventory it opens a menu which covers your inventory (so you can't switch items or drink potions, but you can still use f keys etc.). To deploy the dreadnip you click the interface and then your target. Trouble is you stop attacking when opening the interface and possibly (not sure) when directing the attack too, meaning you have to go like: click dreadnip - click attack demon - click dreadnip interface - click demon (wait 1 tick) click attack demon. If you don't wait the one tick the dreadnip won't deploy. Since deploying a dreadnip should happen as early into a kill as possible, you'll be darklighting and directing your steel titan as well.

I WANTY MAX CAPE!!!
Good luck, the earlier you start the faster it goes . Save your effigies, you're going to be needing a lot of them :P.

Melee Brawling Gloves
Very awesome way to use brawlers if you ask me ^^.

I'd recommend getting good at tds first, and practice dreadnips during slayer or whatever, it's very easy to lose attack turns. But yes, you can randomly run around killing demons if you're good enough.

I'll be trying that out pretty soon, I can imagine it's godly with titan + dreadnip. For tds you now have: Titan or unicorn. Ranged or magic secondary attacks. Pps or barrage for spells. Void vs hides for ranged. Lure vs dreadnips.

28-Nov-11 Polypore Dungeon
Hell no, that would make mage PvM so much more expensive. It's finally as cost efficient as Melee. Save for the polypore staff, all level 90+ spells cost well over 1 - 2k each. True but remember the intention of Jagex was to make this a place where players with high level slayer could make good money. Depends a bt on the nerve of the armour next week if that will remain the case... You can't just say that it was Jagex's intention. I think they wanted to make magic viable in slayer and pvm in general, which they did by a) introducing magic-weak monsters and b) introducing cheap powerful spells.

frosts set up
As a rule of thumb, use overloads unless your're maging in single combat, or unless you don't want to train herblore. If you want 99 ranged I'd say it's definitely worth ranging frosts, using a handcannon (you're 99 firemaking ) and elite void ranged, with a soul wars cape, amulet of ranging, glaiven/ranger's/snakeskin boots, ring of wealth (ranged accuracy doesn't do as much & I don't think you have archer (i)), praying rigour/eagle eye and protect magic. With rigour, extreme ranged/overload, void and handcannon you can hit 600s at long range, which helps with luring - your kills/hr will be very close to melee.

An old player coming back in
The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) or goliath gloves Steadfast/Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). That's for slayer, a great way to train combat skills and slayer at the same time (the other way is gathering effigies). The same list of levels and setup guidelines applies to boss hunting really, except that the unicorn moves up one rank and defence bonusus are far more important.

[Video] Runescape Superior Fletching Guide 1-99!
That's mean coming from you XD. Good question though, because I disgree with fletching only longbows. Just because it doesn't save much time, doesn't mean it's not worth doing.

Some farming questions
It should be, the site is usually updated within a few days with those kind of things. As for your question, you can do the math yourself using the following: xp/patch Herbs: 6.5 * xp for picking + xp for planting + xp for supercomposting Trollheim herbs: 7.3 * xp for picking + xp for planting + xp for supercomposting Trees: 7/8 * xp for checking health + xp for supercomposting (if not paying farmer) or just xp for checking health + xp for supercomposting (if paying farmer). You should pay for all but yew trees. Fruit trees: as above. Calquat: as above.

What's the BEST F2P Staking Gear for Rangers?
Well, if your accuracy will be close to 50% all of the time, the best setup is the highest combined total of ranged strength, ranged attack and ranged defence (for a ranged vs. ranged stake). Trouble is that that assumes weapons of equal speed so you have to account for that as well.

what do you do with "Broad Leaf Arrow"?
I hoard them for two reasons: 1) Beats fletching skillcape for showing general awesomeness (lol) and 2) They might become useful one day and they are only 1 space anyway.

01-Dec-2011 Behind the Scenes - December
Really nice updates, tool belt & money bag will be extremely handy, bank space is always good (no more round trips to POH to go mining), conversation update sounds great, +6k loyalty points serves to make things a little more even (since it favours newer subscribers), graphical updates to the wilderness sounds great (some of the best scenery is there already), the loyalty rewards will be interesting. The only thing I'm not sure about is the Rogue's Den, but I like how Jagex joked around the cooking training :P. By the end of this month the people who saved all their points should have 48k loyalty points.

Not much going on today, gathered a bunch more rocks but nothing exciting. Only 110k to 92 fishing (gorged effigies) and ~300k to 92 thieving (gorged effigies again) and ~80k to 94 woodcutting.

07-Nov-2011 - One Piercing Note
That would definitely be cool. There's still a lot of names to do even with just the special ones (source) but if you can voice that much text for one quest I'm sure a few names won't make a difference. As a sort of intermediate, npcs could use your title instead - that's 3 MA titles, 5 (?) Vyre titles and loyalty reward titles. TzHaar could use their three prefixes too.

How many binds would it take to...
Gatestones don't have an accuracy so no :).

No more nomad...No more!
I'm not sure Storm is the best, but if it is you probably need 200 runes or so. The new gear is fairly cheap and has really high magic defence, so that's definitely a good setup. Otherwise, maximise magic attack bonus or strength bonus (if meleeing), use Armadyl staff or rapier (+ defender), borrow bgs to spec if meleeing.
