  1. I, for one, feel that a tool is more beautiful for being as suitable as possible for its purpose. That means I want to look at my sword and go: "Damn, I never realized this-and-that feature existed, but now that I see it, it makes sense I'd be able to fight very well with this!"
  2. The war-priest armour should at least be useful in F2P. In P2P it has to compete with 200m+ armour sets, which is a bit much to award from an event like BoL, but competing with dragonstone/runite shouldn't be a problem. T60 hybrid or a switchable t51+ single-style armour would be good.
  3. Moved to Help & Advice :). Herblore hasn't been good for money for years now. The best weapon for 2m would probably be a level 75 melee or magic weapon (Bandos godsword, polypore staff) or a level 80 ranged weapon (royal crossbow). However the crossbow does require forging. It's not terribly difficult but it requires some gear and combat experience.
  4. Moved to Help & Advice. And I'm afraid I have no idea, I hope not :P.
  5. It's really, really ugly :(. Can we finally get some gear which does not look like it's purely ceremonial?
  6. EoC has potential, I agree, but no more than the old system. And Jagex hasn't really done anything with the potential, ever, so having potential can be considered entirely useless.
  7. Just want to add that a good suicider will eat food when appropriate. A death does not always save time. @OP: Free leeches still need to gt (group gatestone teleport) to do mimes and such. I wouldn't recommend leeching, try finding some people around your level to casually do floors with.
  8. Basically, as weapons go: Use a tier 90 weapon, any works, use what you like. If that is not possible: Use a tier 80 weapon of the correct corner of the triangle - melee, ranged, magic. If that is not possible: Use a tier 75 weapon of the correct sub-style - stab/slash/crush, arrow/bolt, air/water/earth/fire. Tier 75 weapons are so cheap and easy to get, they should be no problem (this list assumes 90+ combat skills). Berserk is always the best ultimate to use (for melee). For ranged and magic, just ignore ults, they're not worth the bother. Alternate Slice with other abilities to build adrenaline fast: Slice > Havoc/Smash > Slice > Dismember > Slice > Sever > Slice > Havoc/Smash > Slice builds adrenaline fastest - note you don't need to build adrenaline fast if you're only going to use Slaughter, Assault and Destroy without ultimates.
  9. This post is 100% internet free. Also, level 25 on Lotro. Wee (also, its design so arbitrary lol). Edit: Finished Wheel of Time. (also got about 500 tears on the battlefield. Got to prepare for that hybrid armour)
  10. I'm of a mind to do all quests on release day as I've done since I got the quest cape, so pray to Jagex that they release more quests (also lore... mmmm). Going to be gone for two days now, no-internet trip.
  11. I'm really not sure, I've only heard that max rates are 300-350k xp/h, so take 10-15% off for using chaotic instead of drygore, take another 10-15% off for using a tort instead of a yak, and you have about 230k xp/h?
  12. Few quests are really significant in terms of direct xp rewards. While Guthix Sleeps is by far the best one, afaik. Ritual of the Mahjarrat unlocks glacors, Brink of Extinction unlocks the Fight Cauldron, these are very high xp/h training methods. Then there's some quests that unlock skill boosts, but those are pretty minor.
  13. Maces are super ugly, that's for one. Also there appears to be some kind of small advantage to 'fast' weapons but you'll want to ask Chenw about that.
  14. I think someone intended to avoid any item crashes, converting all big items to coins, taking a long break and returning to new t90 gear at reasonable prices.
  15. The keybinds have been bugged since EoC beta (I reported the bug in a limited form as I didn't understand it completely at the time). If you chat, they stop working, if you chat again, they start working again (also messages like 'inventory is full' while mining congold trigger it). I don't know if NIS did anything about that, but it seems it's not 100% patched yet.
  16. Yeah, I think this is pretty adequate. The arguing brothers in Edgeville is pretty good evidence of this; if they were in Falador, the Zamorakian guy probably wouldn't have his case heard at all. I read this as: "the Zamorakian guy probably wouldn't have his head at all." and nodded in agreement. Maybe RS could use a tiny bit more grittiness sometimes.
  17. http://xkcd.com/627/ Relevant.
  18. No matter what happens, Itam remains the most crazy effective DIYer of all (probably).
  19. If you reset with 38/38 floors done, you should do floors 1-~25 as complexity 1 rushes, and the remaining floors as 5:5 larges ideally.
  20. I don't think adventurers logs go that far back, but you could try tracking sites (if you used them). Your other hope is that somebody has hiscore screenshots from when they got a 99, and that you were caught by chance.
