I would like to play again
If you're only using auto-attacks for the glacytes, you'll take quite long to kill them, especially since the barrage nerf. Try using Impact and Dragon Breath instead for high damage (DB should be AoE as well though it doesn't work well).

"Has been reserved for specific items" No really? Any reason the antipoison totem is not part of that, maybe? Seriously how stupid can you be >.>.

Quick question about music tracks
I got it west of the Edgeville lodestone, close to the Monastry.

I haven't glacored recently but with that equipment I recall you can tank the icycles. Since you're using a chaotic staff, barrage may not be the best way to go for the glacytes.

Magic Damage
No, it's definitely the underlying mechanics. Weapon damage for iron bolts + royal crossbow is 1116 damage but hits as an iron 2h crossbow (223 damage). Some weapons are tiered wrong, for example the Brackish blade, but also Barrows weapons.

Doesn't disabling the option 'always show target information' hide the details?

Magic Damage
The way it works for ranged is: 1) Take the lowest tier of bolt and crossbow. Get whether one or two hands are used for damage. 2) Calculate damage based on that. 2h vs. dw doesn't matter. For magic, I'm not sure how it works, but it could just get the tier of the spell, tier of the orb and ignore tier of the wand, so you get (tier spell) * 2 + (tier orb) / 3 = average tier.

Q
Figured I should put this here: Things we need on action bar: 1) Drag item to action bar > use first option (l-click = craft item). 2) Right-click > same as r-click in inventory. 3) Remove the first instance of that item, now action bar refers to second. 4) Ability to customize hotkeys (q = craft item, l-click = craft item). (so far we have this) 5) Ability to set hotkeys for secondary options (q = craft item, l-click = craft item, w = drop item). 6) Ability to set a secondary option as first-click option (l-click icon on bar = drop instead of craft, hotkeys the same). 7) Ability to set a toggle: If slot A is used/goes inactive/goes on cooldown/activates something, replace whatever is in there with X. E.g. have ss on bar, if it activates something, replace it with prot melee, if that activates something, replace with ss again. Toggle for ss flashing. For abilities: have assault on bar, once it goes on cooldown, replace with destroy. For skilling: have superheat on bar, replace with drop gold bar on cast, revert to superheat.

Magic Damage
It's because wands are 'fastest' which means they have zero damage boost and take all their damage from the spell. The staff takes the same amount of damage from the spell, but only t80 damage from the staff. Prom 2h is 2159, chaotic staff is 2068 as you said, you forgot to take into account the bonus from level. Note that this is only relevant to autoattacks - abilities only ever use the tiers of the weapons you use.

Sold 10 elements and 1 magic scrimshaw at 1m each - the magic scrimshaw sold first, strangely. I thought elements was better for dps overall.

I'm pretty sure that the crafting xp is worse than the additional combat xp gained & banking saved (+ higher chance to get in game) from bringing overloads and prayer potions only. You can just slay pyrefiends/jellies/avatars for xp.

XP Waste and applying it to non-exp goals (split from 200m in all skills)
You guys would make horrible linguists (as you are now anyway :P). "Defining" a word is not your job, nor mine, nor anyone else's - a definition is something that can be tentatively determined by looking at how people use the word. Simply by observing that Bxp, Kimberly and also myself understood 'xp-waste' to mean, in this context, 'inefficiency', you can conclude that the word is not limited to the meaning 'gaining less than the maximum possible amount of xp in a given amount of time' or similar. There can be different meanings depending on context. This is also why we have other words/phrases: - Inefficiency - Imperfect use of time - Loss of potential xp - Gained less xp than possible - Did not achieve goal X as fast as could be etc. All can be called 'xp-waste', as a joke especially, which is still a way of communicating. If you can't read the right meaning into 'xp-waste' depending on context, that means you're not being cooperative in communication ;) (or it is really unclear, but honestly how unclear is 'xp-waste'?). Instead of arguing that it's 'wrong' or 'unclear', accept that it is the case and type the extra ten letters to be specific next time :P. As I said, the only wrong thing is to say that using a word in a certain way is wrong.

XP Waste and applying it to non-exp goals (split from 200m in all skills)
I'm not sure if the literal view reflects the way the term 'xp-waste' is used. There are enough people to whom 'xp-waste' is synonymous with 'inefficient'. That is not wrong, that is how language works. Equally, it is not wrong to say there is a difference between the terms. What is wrong is saying that one view is correct, which is what you (both sides) are doing now.

Of course not, the point is that people shouldn't think that 15 min meds are 'decent' (for a 200 cb/70+ skills player) - there are a lot of different things you can improve on, one of them is bound to work for you. When I averaged 11-12 mins I thought I was going as fast as I could, but a few levels later I was down to 10 mins average, which is still not great but a big improvement nevertheless. Too many people treat Dungeoneering as they would cutting ivy - complaining they can't get advertised rates when just starting out. That is not how this skill works. For some skills, xp/h increases only with level (ivy). For some, it doesn't increase at all (prayer). For some, it increases with IRL experience (dg, to some degree combats especially when training with glacors etc.). @HunterDexter: http://www.xp-waste.com/official-dgs-guides-and-other-resources-t2328.html

No, but if you were doing a task for sub 10 solo med you wouldn't be doing any of that. The fastest large on the DGS hiscores is a 5:16 Furnished floor. All themes have record times of under 6.5 minutes.

It's not *that* good. @Aiel: I'm not sure that makes sense, Intimidate would perhaps work on weak opponents, but anyone confident enough (such as a pker) should not reasonably be affected by it. Crests are also good for soldiers to identify commanders, but that's hardly useful in RS. Edit: +2 SW wins. Woo.

I'm afraid you're just slow :(. If your computer isn't the problem, maybe reading some of the DGS guides will help. This is pretty much what I fear... but I don't think Jagex will add a speed-based requirement, or a really easy one.

If you add horns or a crest to your helmet - and I'm not saying you should - you'll do so mostly for intimidation. While adding an 'intimidation' statistic as armour bonus is possible, I'm not sure whether it would be any good - if anything high 'intimidate' would reduce monster aggressiveness, which reduces xp/h.

Combat Gloves
I don't think the Dominion Tower gloves have any damage effect now, besides reflecting a little. The swift gloves reflect magic damage, as per the combat triangle, goliath reflects ranged, spellcaster reflects melee.

If you also send boats on steel, the 4th merchant is always useful. Chimes are good for recruiting better crew/captains (got two tigers with slayer now :)). Today I got missions for 2x5 plate, 2x5 chi, bones and laquer. So yeah... merchant rocks.

Paying money for yt shoutouts - discussion (split from 200m in all skills)
The rule doesn't specify what kind of currency is used, only that the trade must occur outside the means incorporated into the game, e.g. outside drop-trading, PvP, the trade system, treasure hunts or whatever - even Solomon's is 'incorporated into the game'. The phrases 'outside the game environment', 'other than by the means which are incorporated into the game' and 'real-world' are (almost) synonymous here. Any trade which involves an item or service that doesn't exist or can't be traded in RS (such as a youtube shoutout) necessarily must be a real-world trade. Since the rule mentions both sale and purchase of GP, the rule works both ways, e.g. the real-world purchase of gp (bought with shoutouts) or the real-world sale of gp (for shoutouts). Now I understand it's a known fact that people do this, and it's fair to discuss it in the context of 200m in all skills (in the sense that it can allow people to get there, if Jagex doesn't ban them) but please remember that discussing the morality of such things has led to flamewars before and is banned. RWT is also against the Tip.It Forum Rules.
