  1. That's what I said when I decided I'd farm all my toadflax for 85 maybe 88 herblore but then I figured out that selling the herbs and buying different herbs for better gp/xp would be a much better idea. He brings up a good point, the exp you get from the most profitable herbs is probably not up to par with the better training methods, so the opportunity cost could be greater than the marginal benefits.
  2. No, it's not free/profitable training; you always have to consider the opportunity cost of just selling the herbs instead of making pots, in other words you are just not seeing the bigger cash pile that you would have otherwise.
  3. Pie shells are another base you can make for some cooking exp and pretty decent profits.
  4. The Brimhaven agility arena also keeps things interesting, at least for me, but not getting to the tickets fast enough could make everything too frustrating. Also I'd think that herb would slow down reaction timing and thus reduce exp per hour (Though that's probably the least of your concern depending where you live :? ).
  5. Umm the toktz one, and antidragon fire shield for dragons. Alright, I'd recommend getting a rune defender; they really speed up tasks and the increased attack means you kill faster so you actually eat less (The best defense is a good offense ;) ). Ya i might do that actually :) i am waiting to buy a leaf-bladed sword for turoths XP it's not buying in the GE lol Broad-Bolts are also a viable option, especially since you should probably beef up that 58 range :P . Ya i do, i don't like range though xp but this might give me a good chance too, any tips on what weapon for fastest xp? Overall? The whip fo sho. For turoths? I think that broad bolts are actually the fastest, but based on your levels a sword would be better.
  6. You end up with the same "worth" but gp is far more liquid than junk is, and by that I mean it's easier to buy things with gp than with unstrung bows and mint cakes (Especially because those can't be used in shops or npc transfers for things like shards).

  9. No one has lists of the first 100 people, especially because herblore is one of the oldest skills. Have you tried the runewiki? Because that's the only place that might have it as far as I can think.
  10. What shield are you using?
  11. No. That is not how ROW works. It doesn't changed WHAT rare drop you get, but rather whether or not you get a rare drop at all. Actually...no...well...kinda... The chance of getting the "magic number" that puts the drops in the second wheel with the rare drops never changes, all the ring of wealth does is increase the likelihood of a rare drop being chosen in the second wheel. In practice I think I hear it increases drop rates anywhere from 1-5%, but rare drops are a tricky thing to figure out especially since we still don't know what constitutes a "rare drop." There's a guide in the AoW here that goes further in depth. Not really anything I can say on topic, I've never been to TD's, but good luck anyways :D . I can't be bothered to find exactly where, but Jagex recently said that they will make a diary explaining exactly how the Ring of Wealth works. So keep your eyes and ears open! I remember reading that too, I think it was in one of the Q&A sessions, but nothing so far :( .
  12. Yes, he is the best master until you can use Kuradal, unless you REALLY like cannoning as many tasks as possible. Also for trolls use the ones near Keldagrim, they aren't too far from a bank and are pretty weak as far as trolls go.

  14. Well with barb fishing you are either dropping the catches or cutting them for cooking exp and extra bait, but I'm not really sure what you're looking for. Barb fishing by far gives you faster exp, and there are faster alternatives to sharks if you want gp.
  15. Out of curiosity are you not getting defense because you are a pure? Unless you are avoiding cb levels there is absolutely NO REASON to avoid free exp in a combat skill.
  16. Hate to just direct you to a guide, but this should be able to answer all your questions about ranged slaying.
  17. I'm looking to finish the quest without getting defence experience. When you talk to Daero do you Ask for one set(Attack and Defence) then the other (str and hp) or does it give it all at once? Also can you complete the quest and just not talk to Daero and not get any exp? You cannot get the extra exp without getting some defense exp, but you can finish without talking to Daero and getting any exp.
  18. Excellent Tip.It times this week =D> I really hadn't heard of the new "strategy" game so the fact that the article gave a lot of background was perfect for me. The second article was one of the best I've read in a long time; Troacctid, you really have a talent for writing <3: .
  19. I assume that with a z spear you set the attack method to stab?
  20. Yeah, I don't remember taking it quite that long, but it's very rare so no you aren't doing anything wrong you just have to persevere.
  21. I'd opt for Brimhaven, it's far from most teles except glory to Karamja and charter ships but Ecteria is close to a fairy ring with is extremely easy to get to with a slayer ring.
  22. Platebodies are always the fastest/most efficient since you use up the bars very fast, so basically it's just mith platesbodies till 88 and addy platebodies.
  23. Lady Heinous now I believe, but I haven't been in a while :? .
  24. I'd recommend the wildy course for sure, if you have an EE there is pretty much no need for food even. Just bring that and some food and when you die (When I train there I train till I die :P ) just go back to the lady of the lake to get a new sword before you head there again.
  25. The last update was at least a year or two ago when they added new rewards as far as I can remember.
