You can try maging them, using chaos gauntlets and fire bolt. The sad thing is i don't know ANYTHING about mage lol, i got it all up in F2P by superheating and hi-alching :( But my melee eqp is Black mask Torags body Torags legs Amulet of Glory Combat Bracelet Ring of wealth/ ring of life Abyssal whip/ dragon scimmy Dragon boots and idk what shield i should use, anit-dragonfire or tokthz (i heard i could do antifire pots? how long do those last?) If you melee you should pray prot melee and wear prossy, though at those stats you will probably spend a lot of money on pray pots. Mage and range don't require prayer pots though, so you should probably look into that.

I'm just disappointed how different the "rare" drops according to the drop tables and what the community considers rare drops are so different.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's more a tool for merchers and lenders than a good way to make cash for most of the populous.

+1, the hides are worth more that 2x what the bones are and banking is fast, the ONLY times you should be burying bones is at irons and steels, and even then you should fill up your inv towards the end of a task.

The point of junk is to get rid of items that you naturally accumulate that are useless yet still retain value (Like maple bows (u) from fletching). If you have to go out of your way to collect junk it is not worth the time because junk making methods cap out at something like 300k/hr. Just sell them for as much as you can and count the fact that an almost useless item can get you a couple dozen k.

Does turmoil activate fast enough to work while rushing? Other than that it's probably just a bad luck streak.

I'm sure that you get them from the sea snake young in the Miscellania dungeon, just kill a dozen or so and you should see it.

Always dragon or higher, otherwise the opportunity cost would be too great.

Just remember that the combat skills might need a minimum of only mid 60's to 70's, but that doesn't mean that you can beat the quest (See: Nomad, especially the almost necessary 67 summoning for a War Tort).

ok so basically the Generals range max is like 35 i believe so basically if i drop below 40-45 hp then i'll brew because i wont be wasting any and can still heal up with guthans does that sound right? Keep the minions in mind, as they can hit 20's pretty easily and the hits pile up fast.

I hear that you do a lot better at tasks like waterfiends and black demons, and you can tank metal drags with a uni if you have the right stats, but yeah for tasks like fire giants or abby demons I don't think they would be all that useful (They'd be more of a pain to me because you have to use a scroll instead of just waiting for the healing).

Last time I checked, grinding green dragons was one of the BEST ways to make money aside from boss hunting. If you do end up killing green dragons, bank the hides as well to sell for more bones. On top of this, farm herbs every 75-90 minutes for additional profit. Everything else Zaaps said I agree with. You will NEED 70 prayer to boss hunt anyway. The reason that green dragons are so good is that they drop bones and hides very fast, if you keep the bones their profitability for more bones is only 1/3 of what they are normally; so you'd be better off getting money faster somewhere else.

First off you don't need a crossbow for darts, secondly I would HIGHLY recommend getting 61 range to use a rune crossbow as it is without a doubt the best all-around range weapon in the game, lastly the reason that knifes are unbuyable is the shop update has caused the amount of knifes to drop severely and the ge price doesn't represent the demand.

Verac's skirt is probably the best legs you can wear for the good def and prayer bonus, for the chest I'd say either Guthan's, Torag's, or Dharok's (They all have pretty much the same stats, see which one you think looks best ;) ).

I hear that a crystal bow was the best there, but that might have been before the accumulator so arrows would have been strewn everywhere. I would just stick with the tried and true broad bolts since they have high def.

The RoW is not a placebo, it just doesn't make enough of a difference to use over other rings, especially with the inception of MA imbued rings and the ferocious ring.

I agree, just range him for the whole way, it helps that you can just stand in the middle of the bombs and not take any damage, which if you're fail at bosses like I am kinda helps calm down the battle because it reduces movement.

Just bring prayer gear with a zammy item (A cloak, prayer robe bottoms, book,or stole will do) and plenty of prayer pots - maybe 10-14 - and pray mage :thumbup: .

I'm not really questioning whether or not this is true, but how do you know this? I've never seen an official list of rare drops, and I seem to get daggers just about as frequently as limbs. If daggers are really their only "common rare" then what are the half keys? Oh sorry, i forgot about Runite limbs. Half keys? I have killed quite alot avansies and i have never gotten those. Anyhow my point: 1) Rune dagger - very cheap 2) Runite limbs - very cheap Half keys if dropped - is probably very rare which means ROW don't help with it so much as common rares. If they drop gems then they also drop half keys as well as dragon spears, it's a drop family.

I'm pretty sure you can get it back by pickpocketing Moravio in the Lumby caves, he's by the goblin agility course.

It's all about adjusting to how you need to play, technically it would be more efficient to just farm cash herbs and buy all the pots you need, but the point is to just have fun :D ; no matter what be sure to farm herbs: whether for extra exp or cash for training it can't hurt. The same arguments can also be applied to herbs you get from MTK (Which if you don't already do, that's a must for cash).
