It seems that I lack the knowledge of these drugs as I've never tried them before. One of the problems with making alcohol illegal would be that it's so easy to make. I think it only requires yeast, hops/barley/grapes and water to make wine/beer. Legalization of marujana - The amount of positive/negative effects aren't important to me. If you were to 'weigh' the sides up, which one would have more? And does the benefits of smoking marujana outweigh the costs?

I personally believe that minimum age buying laws for alcohol should be slowly phased to a minimum age of 16. Also, the public needs to be educated about the effects and consequences of alcohol, and how it should be consumed (eg. A glass of wine with a meal goes nicely, 20 shots of vodka on it's own doesn't). A lot of the problems associated with binge drinking is to do with the fact that American/British people are unable to lawfully drink for so long that when they finally are allowed to, they typically overdo it. Binge drinking rates in the UK are shockingly high (I haven't got figures on me though) Drugs - Well, I wouldn't call it socially acceptable to take any hard drugs such as cocaine, so it's less of a problem to society as a whole. For Marujana, I wouldn't know whether to support the legalization of it or not. There are medical purposes for the consumption of it, but the potential for abuse is just too high. You could also argue that it is a gateway drug, potentially leading people on to harder drugs due to the tolerance the body starts building up after sustained marujana usage. Acid/Mushrooms - I don't know enough about it to comment. Crystal Meth - The government could change the system so that it's much harder to make crystal meth from pills. Perhaps put pure capsaicin in pills so that when the pills are crushed, it'll be like snorting or injecting 50 Jalapeños extract, which could deter people from using it. I'm not sure where I'm going with this post. I'll leave this here until someone disagrees

  4. I will make my JaGex mod talk with proper grammar, be extremely posh and make random witty jokes/puns about the area/people around me. Perhaps I'd try and reinforce the British Stereotypes about Tea, Crumpets and the love of sweet sugary foods by making the Jmod claim to always desire them. I'd like to see a conversation like this - Me: How do you enjoy your Earl Grey Tea, [mod name]? Jmod: It's spiffing, good sir! EDIT - Hell, I might even make the Jmod post memes on RSOF or the front page ;o

  8. What kind of staking is that? Chaotic rapier/longsword?
  9. You could always appeal that you know. Just quote the date of the offense, and tell them that someone was really called "Im Mod Peter". It could easily be read by someone else as Mod impersonation, which is what got you muted. To Sonikku: The freedom of speech does not shield you from the consequences of intentional cyberbullying/harrassment. Although the censor can be lifted (optionally), it doesn't mean that nothing would offend others anymore. It is merely JaGex's response to a maturing community, which, inevitably, always has a select few who are incapable of being mature. I don't think every person who reports people are 'wanna-be' mods. Some just find it fun to get others muted, with no intention of receiving modship (It's also a terrible way to gain modship, as it's awarded to players who can accurately identify rule breakers) I have been muted well over 20 times, and I'd say about half of them I would have deserved, and the other half I appealed successfully. My advice would be: Just be wary of what you're saying. If you think what you're saying could be taken out of context, or it's potentially offensive/discriminating, don't say it. Perhaps rephrase what you're going to say. A good portion of the so called 'undeserved' mutes on here are actually deserved. I don't see why so many people frown upon reporting other players. It keeps the community safe and more user friendly. What's exactly wrong with that I don't know. On Topic: I haven't been muted for at least a year. I think I could dig something up... I'll edit this post later
  10. The inability to come up with a better word/phrase, until it's too late. I do like coming up with an original, yet witty remark about someone for troll's, though. :]
  11. Emergent gameplay - Partyhat Pking?

  13. Well, for the Attack cape: Perhaps a few flying wasps appear in front of the player, irritating the character. The character pulls out a Katana, swinging it about (leaving behind streaks, like the old Dragon Claws animation), and the flies fall to the ground to demonstrate the player's accurate hitting ability. Emote ends. I agree with the Agility cape Matrix thing. Not sure what would be suitable for Ranged/Defence capes, though
  14. I think Dh pking may make a comeback, and perhaps Korasi->Dragon Claw pking could emerge for those who possess the Ring of Vigour. I still think this update is a turn for the worse. Danger, or even the element of 'Risk' is being removed, and untradables will no longer be viable to pk with, for no good reason. =/
  15. Well, according to JaGex, they are going to release a new items kept on death system where, in any non PvP circumstance, you could choose what you lose on death, and in any PvP circumstance, items kept on death will be based on the GE value instead of the alchemy value. This also means another thing - In PvP, unless I am mistaken, untradables will almost *always* be dropped on death, such as Chaotic weapons. What will be the effects of these changes, and how will it affect you? Discuss

Would messing with people's computers be funny, mean or just unfunny? E.g. Changing the start up sounds, or remapping the entire keyboard, etc?
  17. There are multiple benefits of having turmoil. First of all, your curses drain a lot slower, so you can pretty much turmoil an entire slayer task without banking (which is more efficient than constant banking) Secondly, prayer potions restore more prayer points, which is also beneficial to any situation. Thirdly, you would have access to soulsplit, which does wonders pretty much anywhere. Soulsplit flashing would be the equivalent of free food, without taking up combat turns or many prayer points. It isn't about the cost of food, it's about efficiency. Lastly, it doesn't cost any more than what you've paid for to utilize Turmoil, compared to Piety. With Extremes, you would have to buy more herbs and potions and make more extremes, which could accumulate cost over time. Do the math and decide for yourself.
  18. I sort of do that, only I tut and go 'wtf you paid that much?! You could have got something similar at Primark for £x'. Also I could have killed my dad for getting shoes for over £100. I honestly could have! Yeah, cheap shoes might not last as long but still! I just have an aversion to large sums of money. £300 shoes that last 5 years vs £10 shoes that last 2 months. Do the math Anywho, something that annoys me... appeal to popularity in arguments. Just because everyone sides with you, it doesn't mean you're right. EDIT - You'd be surprised at the amount of guys that have 'periods' too. If you want to call it that
  19. Surely you would enjoy punching people naked...
  20. I accidentally pee in public. Uh, you do? How? On Topic: Clock changes
  21. Discussion point: What is the best way to make an un-brute force-able account? I'm pretty sure JaGex finds the previous passwords (preferably in the order of first second third) and registered email address more important than the recovery questions themselves... right?
