On the quest journal, there is a question mark or help button. Click on that, and it should give you the amount of spices you need. There are lots of combinations possible, so I think you'd find it much harder to guess it.

Well, I'm unsure whether to agree or disagree with the article this week. However, I think it would've been a nice idea to keep Pre-Free Trade and Post-Free Trade as separate games, because it would in theory isolate the problems and then JaGex can work out a way to keep RWT at bay whilst maximizing enjoyment of RuneScape (For example, a more fluid GE with more updates/lower restrictions would have been a nice idea to implement) I'm sure JaGex could also change the game client so that item Id's would no longer show up (although, as I'm no expert with software, this may be impossible), or just swap a bunch around using algorithms every game update. I'm unsure about the bug related implications it may have though. Hmmm... I might add something to this post later.

I'd say flipping wouldn't die, but hoarding would. Currently, discontinued items (ie: Partyhats) are fluctuating extremely constantly due to lack of supply, and high demand for said item. I'd say they would reach an equilibrium soon. Admittedly, I still feel the duel arena roulette does make RuneScape feel like a private server, though. 999134, for instance, went from 300m to over 4b within roughly 9 days. That's well over 400m gp a day, on average (although a lot of it did come from the guy losing white) It would be nice if JaGex could call this RS3, or RS2.1, keeping the original intact for those who actually liked the GE. That way, it keeps the incentive for players to kill bosses, instead of flipping at the GE for 10 hours a day (however, you could argue that money is not a motivator). And you love pking, try what Icegiant99 does: Wear strength boosting gear with no plate or legs, and a tyras helm. Not only do you risk a lot less than you normally would, you also have a far better chance of a good vengeance and doing a quick KO. Method: Wear the above, and be pre-vengeanced with recoil ring (must be done 30 seconds or more before the fight). Fight player using an Ags, and when vengeance hits, vengeance again and special. All it requires is a little luck and you could be reaping in rewards whilst risking as little as 80k a fight. It's also good to know the alchemy values by heart as well. If you see a Dragon Scimitar->Dragon Clawer wearing a Dragon Square Shield, you'll get claws. Food for thought
