  1. That's a different part of the Thanksgiving event, as if there were 2. The turkey-killing only rewards with the Thanks-giving emote. If you already have that, it rewards you with... Well nothing actualy, maybe fun :P?
  2. I suggest going to the link they put on the announcement.
  3. Just solved it.[hide] My next guess is the pub close to the wilderness? [/hide]
  4. So if someone doesn't play like you do, they don't deserve what you deserve. The fact that they trained Combat in a very specific way in order to gain advantage on one aspect of the game, does not mean they should be disadvantaged in another.
  5. Total level is a measure of how long you have played the game. Most players will not remain n00bs at 1000 total level in f2p. Generalizing is just fine when it makes sense. I'm not saying 100% of those players in skiller worlds are mature, but they will definitely have more % of mature players than normal f2p worlds. I don't know if you recently entered members' servers, but the immaturity there is outstanding. The RSOF is a great proof for that, check it out whenever you can. By the way, being a "n00b" isn't a measure for immaturity either. I've seen mature level 40s, 30s and even 20s who just started playing. Actualy, I see them every day. In addition, there are many childish idiots who's total level exceed 2000. As I already said, skills and total level aren't a measure for maturity.
  6. IMO you should buy membership and hope for the best Oo...
  7. I see your point. Perhaps a mix of total level and exp? Or something like... Having to spread your exp in atleast 7-6 skills? Maybe more... I have no idea how you got that from what I said. It makes no sense that a free world would be almost empty of purely free players, yet full of ex-members. By the way, about your maturity comment - Skills (or total level for that matter) aren't a measure. Oh, and many members are immature too, stop generalizing.

Any idea on how I might find that kind of world?

    80. I am saving time by dropping the fish because the closest bank (from Barbarian village) is either in Edgeville or Varrock (depending on fishing spot). Either way, dropping takes less time than going to the bank and coming back. Not to mention run energy which will drain every once in a while if I bank my fish. Am currently F2P and cannot use Shilo so...
  10. Fishing training through fly-fish powertraining and dropping (e.g. salmons and trouts) should result in approx. how much exp (on average) per hour if dropping and random events are taken into account? (Obviously I don't expect a very accurate answer, but any average range of exp per hour would be nice.) Thanks.
  11. You shouldn't feel dsicouraged over a few (or many) bad suggestions you made (although, I personaly never had the chance to read any of your suggestions so I can't comment on quality). There's nothing wrong with this suggestion (not over-powered, not under-powered, not useless etc). However, there seems to be nothing special about it, nothing that would affect the game too much or even get too much attention if implemented. What I suggest is evolving your suggestion a bit by either adding a plot behind the demon, a new mini-game, a new unique drop, a new quest or anything else that would add some colors to it. Good luck :).
  12. You're wrong about Longswords and Maces... I don't know about back from when RS2 was first released, but today Longswords and Maces are slower than Scimitars/Daggers/Shortswords...
  13. Will you guys please forget about level 3 skillers? That's not the point - the point is that it's absurd that someone who doesn't even have one skill at 50 can enter these worlds, while someone who dedicated much more work into his/her character may not. I'm here to discuss the cons of the current requirement. I think a guy with all skills lvl 42 would probably more mature than this lvl 90 with 70 str, 76 att and 71 def, 87 cooking, 83 fletching and lvl 1 farming and summoning. Mostly for me a good indicator of someone's maturity is his farming and summoning lvl (slayer too often), try it out, really. Immature impationt children don't get that they can do farming in between stuff and get bored watching their plants grow. They also don't realise the usefulness of summoning and they don't have any charms anyway since they have powertrained on some no-reward high xp monster. Conclusion: I'd rather have these all rounded albeit low lvl people in "my world", than these 99 cooker nubs. Uhh... On my homeworld (61) I regularly see the same guy (I won't mention his name). This guy has 99 Slayer, maxed Combat (the only combat-skill that's lower than 99 is - 88 Summoning.), has 99 Farming with over 20M exp, 99 Herblore and some other skills. Quite frankly, this guy is one of the least mature players I see, and I see tons of immature players. I've seen mature players with totals lower than 250, and have seen immature ones (such as this guy) with over 2.2K total level. I must say that skills and exp in this game are never a measure for maturity.
  14. That last idea seems unreasonable. Currently there are less than 400 maxed players, taking into considiration that not all of them will play in these worlds, and that they have school/jobs and obviously DO sleep and eat or have other obligations, I doubt these worlds will have more than 20-50 players on at one time at max. They have their own forums, they can have thier own world. I think the point is that their own world would be pointless, barely used, and a waste of space. :P Exactly.
  15. I don't see why not. Forget about all the whiners here (I guess I'm going to get flamed for that...) Thinking through it, there really is not reason for me to disagree, so I support :D.
  16. Having entered this world to discover about 95% of the population there are ex-members, I believe the current requirement is not suitable. However, I believe 12.5M exp isn't enough, I'd say atleast 25M exp, if not more.

  19. Skillers with 1000 total levels, players who actually train their skills - all their skills. Crippled accounts are a choice. Lvl 3 skillers are not "skillers", they are powernoobs. Who are you to judge someone's playing style? And players with 1000 total aren't necesarilly "skillers". As I had already mentioned, it is possible to have 1K total without even having all skills at 42. Who are you to say his opinion is not allowed to be voiced? Who am i to say that? Well, I'm the god of the internet, so there. Btw, my powerlevel is over 9000! <3: Do you expect Jagex to categorize players, limit them based on totally meaningless self-imposed ranks and then favour some of those ranks? Do you really think that a skiller world is actually something you want anyway? All the training spots would be full and nobody would use any of the other content in RS, including bosses and most minigames, because after all, in a true skiller world nobody would go for the slow xp. There would also never be anyone at the lower leveled training spots since that's not viable when you have high skill levels. And, If there was a world for lvl 3 noobs, What'd be the point? There'd only be so much space for you to go without combat. Even worse, since the exp cap would mean that even less training spots would be vacant, and then that nulls the whole point ofthe world in the first place. Is there any maturity gained in exp or levels? There are literally millions of idiots with a great number of exp or levels. That's because it does not take intelligence or maturity to play runescape. Many very high leveled players i met have had the maturity of 13-16 year olds, wich really isn't high. If any improvement in maturity was to be noticed, the minimum maturity cap would be that of a +25year old. Even that is pushing it in my opinion. There's really hardly enough mature players to fill ten servers. You must admit that not levelling combat is your own choice. And thus, along with that choice come limitations and a lot of content you willingly pass upon for whatever reason you might have, Be it a craving for attention, rebellion or plain momentary stupidity. Demanding or asking for the game to be customized for the minority that does not play the way intended is really..., I can't find the word for it. Point is that you can't expect the game to change because a few players want something changed because the own choice of not getting the requirements in the first place. First of all, you'd be surprised at the amount of things that changed in this game only "because a few playes want(ed) something (to) change(d)". (And all of that because I wanted to quote what you said, lol...) Secondly, I never said his opinion is not allowed to be voiced, but rather that he shouldn't judge anyone's playstyle because it does not fit his own. Third, as I have already said countless time in this thread, I'm not here to complain about my very own situation (my skiller was only an EXAMPLE! Which I'm going to edit out of the main post to avoid confusion right after I send this post). Forth, I never said high total level/exp gurantees maturity. Fifth (I'm getting there...), I agree that combat skills are also skills and that they should (and already do) count for skiller world acces. And yet, you must admit that having over 40M exp devided to ALL free none-combat skills is harder to achieve than less than 42 in all skills (less than 13M exp by the way). And lastly, having a skiller is a challenge for me, and that is the only reason I created one, not because I crave for attention and neither out of stupidity.
  20. Skillers with 1000 total levels, players who actually train their skills - all their skills. Crippled accounts are a choice. Lvl 3 skillers are not "skillers", they are powernoobs. 21. As I see, most of you think I'm here to complain about my very own situation. This is NOT the case. I gave my skiller as an example, nothing more, to show the flawed system. I brought and pointed out arguments by saying that a player who's dedicated to skills, may not be able to enter these worlds even though someone else who dedicated a lot less does. And for those of you saying level 3 skillers don't belong there- If SKILLERS don't belong to SKILLER worlds, who the hell does?
  22. That's not true. There are way more low level players with 1K total than there are players with exp higher than 20M, or even 25M. In other words, I agree with you about the purpose of these worlds, but not the absurd requirement that makes next to no sense. You may be right in it being an "absurd" requirement for f2p but it's woefully inadequate in p2p. I wouldn't be opposed to a total exp requirement but not if it leads to people with 20 mil exp in one skill and lvl 1 everything else. I think these worlds should be for more well rounded players (not necessarily combat, skillers are fine.) When I say 'absurd' I do not mean the level requirement, but the fact that it requires a total LEVEL rather than exp. (Although I still believe that if exp won't be enough to qualify, a member's skiller world should have a higher requirement, and a free world slightly lower.)
  23. That's not true. There are way more low level players with 1K total than there are players with exp higher than 20M, or even 25M. In other words, I agree with you about the purpose of these worlds, but not the absurd requirement that makes next to no sense.
