AGS isn't a one time investment if you die with it, though i do admit you can protect item, but smite can bring you down. And zuriels staff is 817k for an hour. 2 mill for 15 minutes is an exaggeration, I'm afraid you accidentally made the staff cost 9 times the real amount, that or you just didn't get your facts right. Also, its significantly less than 817k an hour, because as soon as you finish your combo, you can happily put it back in your inventory, so the staff can last for many, many hours.

Why do i even bother. Yes i agree, mage sucks at level 100, it needs to max out earlyer, but until it dose, it is superior to melee, and gives range a run for its money as well. Also, a picture is not proof. I could make a picture of someone hitting over 90 damage with a gmaul, no that dosent make it the best weapon in the game, it was just a lucky hit.

Not in f2p. Sure, in p2p you can lose up to 2k per cast, but in f2p you never really lose more than 300, and thats pretty small. And, you can lose just as much in melee when you die because you can get pjed and die, as ANY class. Possibly more likely as a meleer because your close up, and will be at lower health when you get pjed, it really depends on the method in which you pk. All in all, pjing is nothing more than a nuisance. Sure, if your poor, like, really poor, then you won't be able to mage properly, but it even says in the title MAGE IS UNDERPOWERED. And i read the initial post, and it says nothing about the price. Thus, im not caring about the price.

Yes, and we all know how "inaccurate" mage is. Thing is, he wont have time to turn on prayer, and would probably still be in melee armor because he is caught by surprise. So chances are, mage would hit, and range has a chance at a miss, fairly good for me.

From experience, personal attacks and cutting remarks are in retaliation to personal attacks. It all starts when one person feels insulted and starts the cycle.

Ever game with small amounts of people have a reasonably smart community, as games get larger, the game deteriorates.
