That hexcrest thing is only 1.5m in GE anyways....... And I just visited the mounds..... I don't think you can attack them unless you're on a slayer task as I just tried with the desert ones..... Might try with the jungle

People around GE in world 99 are already advertising bying the staves for 15m...... this is gona get messy.

I generally go for 10X the task number. So I'd get 2100 cballs (rounded up)..... This generally works for me; however I'd say go with the 2,500, much safer bet. If you wana be safer still and are not sure go with 3K you can always use the excess for annoying tasks like squahs, or another veld one.

Bruno totally has it right about the 2nd article. MHL summed up perfectly tbf about clans. In my own opinion I think that clans are technically supporting a separation in community. Jagex made the game for single players and these single players then come together into the biggest clan of them all - the RS community, but with them continually doing things for clans and quite often the minority they're splitting this community. Props to her for such a good and readable article =D> The first one was good fun, I enjoyed reading it because it provided a bit of light entertainment whilst I fished.

This for me. When I first started I found smithing bars exciting etc (still do but only a little) and burying bones by clicking on them (cba with that anymore thanks to guilded altars), the world was HUUUUUUGE when I started but it seems to have shrunk as my knowledge of it has grown. Also the adrenaline rush when being a noob and being against something alot stronger than you. To think I've been membs almost a year now it's astounding.

Non-Prayer tasks I have: Slayer Helm Fury Torags Plate Torags Legs DFS Whip/D Scim Fire Cape/Def Cape Barrows Gloves D Boots. My setup mostly emphasises defence. Using a yip I take pretty much 0 damage off anything I ever fight. I switch the Torags with Karils if I'm fighting against something magic based like bloodvelds and if I feel brave against aberrant spectres. The obviously Prosy for prayer tasks, if it's something that wont attack me with dragonbreath, I'll use fally shield 2 (3 when I get it soon!). If you have a SW cape that'd be great for prayer. And the whip/d scim is switched with ZS whenever I need to.

Addy Bolts till you can do tips then do tips till 88 then plates...... That's the cheapest method so far (excluding the plate part)

System Update #2 any idea what it could be?

Excuse me for being sceptical, but how does it always profit etc? I highly doubt someone with my 80/79/99 stats would be able to do it. And what makes it worse is I don't have titans yet. So I fail to see how I'd make any type of profit cept slayer runes................ :/

So would you say powerslaying with say stats like mine would profit? Or would I need to get titans etc?

Whilst smithing in world 98 Varrock west anvils I find Bob the Jagex cat wandering around, *cue run to bank to get cat speak ammy to say "hai"* and he warns me to watch my back as "Those white knights are far more complicated than you can imagine, they're not the "goodie goodies" they claim to be"............. He's still here actually...... Could be something maybe?

Someone's on their TOM :rolleyes: Jagex TRY to get out updates as best they can, they can't help it if it messes up and they have to do further testing. Tbf i'd rather have an update cancelled than have buggy items or things that didn't work.

So yea, I'll probably bombard some of you sooner or later with Grindcore and stuff because it's amazing. I have THE most amazing girlfriend in the world called Courtney who I've technically been with for 20 months now, but officially 12 months and...... umm *looks at calendar* 20 days as we did split up after 8 months together in the first year of college. But I do love her and she means everything to me. Just ask Kieran, Michael, and Emma. Annnnnnnyhoo, I guess I need to say something notable in this post too regarding RS? Well I started back in September 2008 after my best friend (My DuanieCake <3: or Libertherme on here) told me about it. I then stayed F2P for aaaaaaaages smithing ores into bars until about Jan last year, when smithing kinda fell on the back burner *cue awwwwwwww*, and since then I've gone on to get 40+ all stats *cue HELL YEAAAAAAA!* ;p and am still nooby. I got 99 defence before the start of this year which is now letting me focus on getting 99 smithing as my 2nd 99 (I wanted it to be my first *cries*), for my amazing trim. So you'll probably either see me about in a fire cape/smithing cape if slaying and a smithing cape if skilling (I WILL be hermetically sealed in it). Right phew, that's enough of a history lesson eh? ;p Almost as boring as the lectures I have here at uni. Urgh now to play stealing creation to get 6 more hammers for 87 smithing today then. Good old iTunes to keep me company :D
