Massive thanks to everyone who has dungeoneered with me this past month and a bit. Particularly Octarine, TheKoolKandy, Mr Greens, Mr Recci and Obtaurian for getting me into it in the first place, and then massive thanks to DGS for taking me on even with me being laggy as [cabbage] <3: Anyways I kinda messed up the screenies but I doubt you lot care ;) Still shows what I got etc. The party was a double with Octarine and was good fun. Time to get 100 methinks lads! Dunno what the plan is for this now... 120 is on the cards but a LONG time into the future methinks. Right now I'm probably heading back to slayer for money and range and mage exp.

(And before you ask - I'm doing a degree in Medieval Studies and it's friggin epic).

I have a *situation* yeahs... That'd the the right word... That I'd like some advice on. BTW Get comfy guys, Walls of text/long story coming :3 Basically Last year there was this girl that I really liked, nothing happened because she was with one of my hallmates, but she also had a boyfriend at home... So we became best friends I ignored liking her and I guess I have the better deal... She's told me several times now on many different occasions I know her more than anyone else in her life and that she depends on me. So yeahs. But she broke up with both guys over summer and when uni year 2 hit she got back with the guy here. HOWEVER, now she's got another guy at home she really likes and thus it always falls back to muggins here to be the one that she can fall back on and be there to be all "Awwww come here *bigsquishcwtch* (epic hug/cuddle to you non-Welshies) everything's ok, you have me". But the week before last week, enough was enough, she tried to break up with the one here at uni because she doesn't love him anymore and apparently they both ended up sobbing, sobbing turned to passion, passion turned to sex, sex turned to sleeping the night sleeping the night returned to "aww he's really sweet I couldn't bring myself to do it." So instead of being a mug I fed her every home truth she had to hear off me and she stormed off. Later that week we finally patched things up at the pub and I gave her that big squishy cwtch and everything was fine. She'd told the lad here she needed space which in her eyes is the first step to breaking up with him. So then Sunday rolled around and I started feeling really crappy. I don't know why, just happens from time to time, I get massive mood swings (it's an entire story in and of itself and I don't wana post it here just yet as only a few people who REALLY know me know it). And so we were talking on fb as she seemed down. We both said that we were getting sick of this place (honestly Lampeter where I'm at uni is an enigma to us... It's bigger than a village but smaller than a town and the only thing to do is go to the various pubs around). So I waited 15 mins for her reply and got bored and said a harsh comment which was along the lines of "is it because of all the [cabbage] with your relationships?" and she flew off the handle, told me to grow up and don't talk to her until I'm emotionally OK again because she thinks that's why I was so harsh with home truths and that comment. We didn't speak for roughly a week before she begrudgingly apologised... She sent me a text saying "Y'know what? I'm sorry" which to me she wasn't very sorry at all. And we've talked a bit since then, mostly her wanting to get back into the swing of things but I haven't told her I'm still pissed at her for what she said. And these past few days (she knows me like a book and can tell something IS up) she's not let go that somethings up with me yet I keep denying it (I'm an awful liar) and she finally told me the reason she things I'm not ok atm is because "you're not right". My friends keep telling me to stop beating myself up so much all the time and stop taking the fall for people who don't appreciate me. But yeahs.... Guys what do you think I should do? Should I let go of my stubborn bastard-yness. Or am I in the right keeping her in the dark and at arms length making her come to me? I really dunno if what I'm doing is the right thing anymore and I only have 2 weeks before I go back home for 3 months in which I'll probably visit her a bit and visa versa.

What I use for duo/trio (I increse ovls for trio and depending who I'm going with and how they like it) I'd suggest you change D Def to a Spectral or CKS for added defence, and change the maul to a ddef incase crashers turn up. Also neit into Verac and probably cape into a Soul Wars one.: Yak normally has:

(And before you say timelimit I was talking to her earlier and she said she didn't really have one). So yeahs... We did a dungeon... Wanted her to get some accolades, she only got 2 out of 5 :P But s'all good as she still has to do Bandos and Zamorak. And erm... She died like 54 times this dungeon which means an average lifespan of 3 minutes 36 seconds (though it was more 15 seconds on the boss). We keps changing the dungeon plans etc as it slowly dawned that after 47 mins and only 5 doors open we'd need to let her have a weapon, and start helping her to clear gds too. Anyways these are some screenies from it. It was so damn hilariously fun. So yeahs :D And Octarine's Winterface is the exact same as the one I had so no point posting twice :P Nice 94k exp for us for 3 hour 20 afking and having a laugh!

Ultimately yet again endebted to all of DGS, Mr Greens, Tui, Octarine, Kandy, Meam and a few others too. SO. Last night I managed to get this which made Ezk fairly happy... BUT! There was something missing.... There we go.... Might take that to Arma sometime when I'm feeling less scared and nubbish. Then again the way I'm feeling I fancy going for EEKS and CKS too... Anyways, 4M exp til 99, ~5M exp til 100. At this pace I'll have it in a week and a bit I'd guess.

There usually like 20 earthquakes a day in the world most barely register and anything below 7.0 isn't considered anything major since at worst it feels a little trembley and a few roof tiles might fall off. Considering this is meant to be a rapture where each place has an earthquake that makes japan look tame (that was a 12.0) at 6pm local time and so far we have a good chunk of asia passing 6pm with jack [cabbage]e happening. Erm what? o.O The Richter scale (y'know, that thing they measure earthquakes on) only goes up to 10, and a 10 has never been recorded before. The biggest earthquake the world has seen was in Chilie in 1960 which was a 9.5.

You're freaking evil.... I'll get you for this, mark my words and make sure you mark them with a big massive flourescent highlighter so you wont forget it.

I just wanted to post and rant a little bit about DGS and so feel free to either regard or disregard my comments that I'm going to detail. It has come to my attention, that there has been a severe move away from "teaching" people, to an attitude of "them and us". I've sat in the CC now for many weeks, and have been joining floors I can and I enjoy them greatly (and am hoping to reach at least 100 DG with DGS and friends helping), with keyers often being very understanding when it comes to me lagging and such; however, whenever I have keyed with higher up's in the CC I have found the experience often harrowing to say the least due to their focus on being the most efficient and having zero tolerence for anyone who isn't as high a level as them. I even had experience in one dungeon when I was with 3 high level dungeoneers and was promptly abandoned at 20 mins with ~quater of the dungeon left because of a "troll layout and boss". Which of course goes against the rules of DGS: Unless of course, I am mistaken and it is a different rule for those DGers who are higher ups in the clan chat and those of us who are still learning? Another problem that is faced in the chat that makes this void between users who want to key and the higher ups is Grimy's timesheet thing. I honestly believe that this is one of the worst thing to happen for DGS as it has now completely taken away any chance for someone like me to join a higher up/rank on a floor. Too many times now at Dae I have seen someone hosting a floor and deny a DGS user, new or old, a floor stating "No derps please, I don't want to affect my times", and I honestly believe that is why the 3 high levels in the point above quit the floor after 20 minutes. DGS's main aim used to be about LEARNING and TEACHING and ultimately not about times and how many times you can key a sub 20 min 5:5. This idea ultimately separates the Chat with those who can and those who are learning. To be able to learn effectively is to have a higher up/rank keying, yet they keep themselves to themselves often operating with each other and leaving everyone else to get on with it. I remember reading a comment from a user (whom I wont mention) detailing that he can only do one floor with new people before having to do Warped's with people he knows because he can't cope teaching. THIS is the exact attitude that the higher up's in DGS are now portraying to anyone coming into the CC and I would have thought this would be the exact attitude that DGS would try to avoid. People have to learn, and start from somewhere, sometimes progress may be fast, other times it's slow and therefore you might not be able to get that precious 20 minute or below floor and therefore *GASP SHOCK HORROR!* might have to sacrifice your precious average. Yet experience is key - someone learns a lot faster with people of more experience teaching and holding their hand. In my opinion, from an outside view, if this clan is going to keep living in Help and Advice instead of going into the Clan section (because ATM in my opinion with what the CC is expressing it belongs there) then some of the high end players need to lower themselves to start teaching us down here. Afterall experience is key to this teaching. I have done floors with Michael, benefitting greatly from his experience and teaching and yet still managing to get a reasonable time on a floor which was proceeded to be called horrible, but that's a different story. I learn so much from floors with Mr Recci and Mr Greens it's unbelievable because they have the experience and don't care about floor times. It's primarily down to these two people I have been able to learn my strengths and weeknesses in a dungeon and address them and become more efficient in the process. They show the exact attitude DGS should be embodying and therefore breaking up the routine of high levels just doing Warped's all the time and then doing Occs and Abd's between themselves should be the key factor, and also putting less emphasis on people getting low floor times and therefore a low average would be good. This is just my current 2 pence on DGS. I love the CC and I love some of the characters in it and you guys have hooked me on dungeoneering with my aim now being 100; but it's beginning to start to feel more of an elitist clan by the week as people progress into the higher levels and leave behind those who really need the help all in aid of getting a lower average to become the best higher up keyer there is. EDIT: Inb4*walloftext* :thumbsup: commentbyxpx <3: EDIT 2: And the post above mine, by Wadebling, about having a 22 min average today exactly emphasises my points about how there is a rift forming between higher ups and lower levels (although I can see it's F15). But also look at Eyebeam and Dying Silents posts with the 14 min time - again showing that higher levels stick together to get better times.
