My friends and I have been zammying for a while now and have racked up a fair few hundred kills now, but today just took the biscuit....

Unfortunately neither of us have mauls or divines. Think it's possible to melee without or would range be better?

Yeah... I know a few days ago I made a topic about Armadyl; however, until I see my friend doing some solo (which indeed he has done and wants me to come and watch for a bit) I'm still sceptical. I was just wondering with my stats if it would be possible for us to duo Sara effectively, and what set up, invo, yak, tactics etc should we employ? I'm maxed melees with 90 range, he's 98 melees with 90 range, so in both cases melee outstrips. He has access now to most types of gear, I... I'm investing my money heavily into prayer. So what do you think?

Told Saxon I had this and he was all '8545?!?! :o' and here's the proof :D I kinda don't spend slayer points and used 300 the other day cancelling tasks because I cba.... So I'm gona do the terror dog task now.... Eugh.

Depends if you're in multi or not, and if you're FFAing. I'd assume KS and Claws are on an even keel for slayer. Bossing I'd say claws... KS would suck due to multi-combat situation and therefore chaining. FFA bossing, Claws because you want higher damage output.

Also when bossing if you go into the house options setting your ovl timer pauses. Yesterday Draz managed to get 7 mins per ovl dose at Zam.

Just wondering if it's possible for me to duo Arma with a friend of mine.... His stats are roughly 97 defence, 90 range and 99 mage, so we're fairly similar in that department. Also if it's possible and easy for us, then what sort of set up should I have? I do have ovls, but no chaotics.

Kinda messed up the image as it was a surprise to me too.... I was getting 'close' to 99 on Draz when all of a sudden the noob got hit loads and therefore I 99'd :P Thanks to Kandy, Enaid, Draz and Oct for being there. Serp you logged out too early and Triquos you were lobbied :(

Just wondering how common +3 stew boosts are really due to the fact I'm getting 93 herblore on the BXPW and therefore will be right in line to be able to make overloads. Also how do I change my cat from an overgrown one to one that'll chase the rats again? Finally, would it be worth grabbing some spices for stews and making some ovls on the BXPW or is it very hit and miss?

I know I'm a page late to this but.... So let me get this straight: By selling the item to an alcher they will get less money than if I alched it myself? Have.... Have I got Jagex's logic right there? That by alching something myself I'll bring more GP into the economy than if someone else alchs it? .... I think.... *think* they just broke maths.... This really rings true... They've done it to the game, now they're doing it to the laws of logic, maths and the real world... I.... I'm at a loss for words.... Really am. I REALLY should start alching my own stuff more eh? It'll mean I'll make more money than if I buy stuff off the GE to alch right? According to Jagex's logic that's right, yeah?

DAT SLAYER TASKS. All honesty it's a nice little milestone for me.... Also am 890K or so off 99 strength so will grab that monday because I cba getting it and trying to get a few people gathered (one of my friends hasn't missed a single 99 and wants to be there for this one too as it's more a maxed melees thing than 99 str) and less than 3m exp to 99 slay. :thumbsup:

DEM 2nd to last min herb supplies... I was in all honesty gona slay... I posted somewhere else my slayer supplies, but yeah. Octarine and Draz convinced me to invest another 30m into herblore, oh and to spend my tokens on a scroll of cleansing. So this crap should get me 93 herby probably.... I calced it going off 2X bonus... So when I used the tip. planner I put in 2K ext defs, 4k ext mages and 1k ext ranges. Not enough money for torstols, or have a cat good enough to chase rats for spices, so after this herbloring ima probably slay a bit.

I don't have a problem with everything though :( Or is that the impression I'm giving off? :3 Or just because when you posted a guy with a divine people did that to you?

If you're right then Ancient then all it has done is devalue smith. But tbh I don't hold out much hope for the place anyways... This Smithing habitatplunderyard (you can ask Drazhar44 or Octarine if I really have been calling it this) is a pointless waste of Jagex's time.

Tbh slayer is the skill that's really lagging behind in content now it seems. So as long as they fill the void of 94-99 slayer I'll be happy. They could do 95, 97 and 99 level slayer monsters. Makes more sense to do it. Slayer is in desperate need of high level content. I'd actually like a Lava Stryke too tbh :D Also I like the ideas of a slayer boss. But unless it was instanced the feasibility of it would be silm to none. If there was anything new to be assigned it'd also have to be task only.

I just thought of something - SC Hammers. Possibility they'll be incorporated into Artsans Workshop? Personally if Jagex is all 'yeah the exp is better than addy plates' and they themselves said in FAQ that they weren't giving decorated urns to smithing - I highly doubt they'll let SC hammers into it.... :/

Personally got 99 smithing b/c I enjoyed the skill, it wasn't until ~8 months after I got it that I heard about a possible smithing update. And when I heard that I thought it'd be something along the lines of extremes/overloads are to herblore. Not like the lumberyard is to woodcutting. Does anyone even use the lumberyard? :unsure: What Neltak said - personally for me I wanted 99 smithing since I started RS in 08. i remember the days of smelting mith bars and selling them and spending the profit on bones :3 Thought I could get 99 that way ;) Yes I was a naiive F2P. And exactly Blyaunte.... It'll have hype for a week maybe 2, then everyone wont bother with it and it'll collect dust. And Green9090 my trollface > yours ;)

I am so [bleep]ing pissed off with this aparrent update.... All it does is change the bloody way people will train. I knew Jagex would [bleep] it up. I knew it! :wall: High level smithing is dying and what do they do? They add another nail to the coffin.

Jagex soon is not soon. Stellar Dawn has been coming out 'soon' since July. The big smithing update has been coming "soon" for a year and a half And RotM was aparrently coming out end of last year but got pushed back and a screenshot on RS wiki which seems legit has Mod Ash saying it hasn't even finished being written yet. So that's what I expect from the smithing update. It's just boardroom plans with no tangible nature to it.
