Naw free trade hasn't made me stop playing University has. I'm still doing the same thing I have been all the time - running into wildy for suicide missions when I get bored and slaying, non stop slaying, heck today I even got 99HP and 97 Strength. I still cannon etc and everything. However, at the moment I've come out, some would say, better off from Free Trade. Two of my extremely good friends, one from back home, and one from here have quit. And therefore now my bank consists of Claws, BCP, Tassets and 83M and a bit of stuff to sell. This of couse will go in prayer which FT is hindering me with, so I'll wait. But the only thing that's changed for me is armour and inventories for slaying.

Of course I will Draz! <3: And yeah it was a pity you weren't there Triquos! :( But there's still Strength (950k off 98 atm) and Slayer (190K off 96 so like 3m exp?) to come :P Slayer is the big one no one is allowed to miss! ;) :P But yeah, what time is 5:37PM GMT for you?

One of my greatest RS friends quit the other day and gave me the remainder of his bank and another one did the same today :3 which now means I have 85m cash. Also when I hit 96 slayer I'll be going 'Semi-Retired' for a few months until Easter due to university and that MMORPG - Real Life. I was wondering... Seeing as prayer is the next thing I need to get (I would like 95 for turm before injecting more for ovls and 99 summoning) I was wondering... Do I get some levels now/as soon as I level slayer and have a few essays underway? Or should I wait to see what happens with these ashes and come back at Easter, collect X million from MTK and have gained X hundred thousand exp through weekly penguins and then train prayer? I just can't seemingly decide. Anyways I guess the money pile isn't going anywhere fast before Easter anyways. SO what do you guys think?

Ima never level this again *sadface*" Then abyssals tried to cheer me up: Then I got the level :D Then I kinda forgot to check the hp icon for the interesting tid bit :P Successful RSing today... I really need to start learning the tricks of the trade and have been in discussion before with Obt about raising my dungeoneering. The only reason I don't train it is my "irrational" (according to my best irl friend) hatred of the glorified minigame. I still ask him whenever he dungs when Jagex will make a Stealing Creation skill of which I should well be at level 80 by now after getting the hammers for Smith. But I jest. I shall be heading into Dungeonsweep at some point in the future as I need to get 75 dungeoneering and learn all the tricks to speed things up before Easter as my friend and I plan on duoing and trioing (with his brother) until I have a CR..... Only 1.6m exp left >.>

A one click, buyable 95/99/200m..? I think you're on to something! You'd still need the plasm to offer the ashes, but I don't think they'll be stackable, especially if they become remotely close to D bones in terms of prayer exp. And to Ezakton; banking the ashes without a yak won't take a lot of effort. Duel ring + fero ring already works great for blue dragons and abby demons are only 2 rooms furhter into the dungeon. I think a lot of people will opt for quickly banking them if it adds 250-500k profit to a task. I fail to see why picking up ashes (assuming they r good prayer xp like on par with d bones which they shuld be level wise really) is gonna be any more of a hassle than when you do it for dragons? Sure it'll make certain task require more banking, but for the money and/or xp is it not worth it? Afterall ppl bank lots of dragon tasks to get the bones The things that you two (Sano and Sy) forget is the fact of inventories and what people do to speed up tasks. A general inventory a slayer will use for blue dragons is: Super/Ext Attack and Strength Some food/EE/EEE Pouch for a BOB 1 Click tele. That gives you a lot of space both in your inventory and BOB. The healing is covered easy enough in 8 pieces of food or so for a longish trip (obviously I yak bank and put bones in my yak which results in me lasting about 15 mins until I need to bank from a full yak with no special left). Steels and Irons both take a long time to kill and the tasks get assigned up to what? 150? I generally normally get 120 max's on steels and such but anyways, the logistics of a typical melee inventory: Super/Ext Att and Str 2 Super/Normal Antifire pot 8 Prayer pots (to maintain piety and protection prayer) BoB Pouch 1 Click Tele Alching Runes. For abyssal demons (now you'll pick holes in what I'm saying as this is personal set up) I use: Ext Att Ext Str Pony Scrolls Holy Wrench 1 Click Tele Alching Runes 17 Prayer potions Because I piety my task. At least I kinda need a bunyip, but I prefer the flexible healing of a unicorn. Now comparing Abyssals to dragons is already a bit foolish due to the nature that for Blues they hardly hit hard and as I mentioned 8 pieces of food and you're sorted. Irons and Steels you melee pray. Abyssals you should have a yip even with good defence gear and EE because you're not praying all the time and they can occassionally get a string of hits on you. So why would people vote for a BoB over quick healing for a task? And then again from an efficieny point of view, I currently piety nechs and abyssals, so you're telling me that for me to do my task, I need to take extra food (extra cost), less prayer pots and bank all the time from getting the ashes? ^ For any high level efficent slayer I think that is a big ask and one I personally don't think that Jagex can get away with as it would be the slayers the bring the ashes into the game mostly. It's just the pure logistics of the matter would change a lot of slayer set ups and if the ashes were not stackable, then it would be a few weeks of people doing abyssal demons tasks before going "y'know what? Bugger it, I can't be bothered" and just doing the task in 1 or 2 runs like normal. This'll either be a well executed update with Jagex knowing to make them stackable for an easy life, or they'll enjoy a grace period of 2 weeks and then go to something that only f2p will collect wilst P2P go back to normal slaying.

Are godswords still worth investing in weapon wise these days for a non-pker? No Godswords are obsolete for the non-pker and therefore pointless for you to get one really. The only place where you'd possibly need a GS now is as mentioned - Bandos for speccing Corp. Or am I better off saving my cash for better armours, better skills etc and getting chaotic stuff instead? Yes. Ok new question set as well: Right I'm beigning to hit the point where I can start grabbing dg rewards and I have a few queries. I'm gonna get all the obviously handy ones (gem bag, coal bag, bonecrusher, herbicide, tome of frost, arcane stream, the 3 scrolls, the 3 prayers, surgebox & anti-poison) Aside from that I have a few questions: As mentioned tieszen mentioned again - re-oder that - Scroll of life then cr then everything else. 1) Ring of vigour worth it or not for a non pker? (and for what uses) Tiezen's point. 2) The prayer necklaces any good for prayer tasks? (I'm thinking +13 prayer combined with prayer recharge via bonecrusher while in normal gear might be handy on some slayer tasks?) It's debateable. Some slayer tasks may well be fairly decent - some you cannon like bloodvelds may be a little nice? I'm not too sure. 3) The shields worth it or not really? Yes they are once you have everything else. 4) Chaotic staff n crossbow; worth it or not? Cbow for some bosses and TD's. 5) Chaotic melee gear for general usage is cls or crapier better? and is it worth having all 3 for various boss monsters? This again is another point of debate - but to sum up millions of pages of discussion - CR = Whip on stroids, CLS = Vestas on Anti-depressants. And Quyneax has often told me that I should only buy a CLS if I have a Div or Ely. 6) Mercernary gloves, seem to be best range bonus glvoes in-game, worth it? No. 7) Spirit cape, I'm still not entirely sure how this works but I heard it has some sues, so again worth it? S'up to you.

One that interests me is whether or not the ashes will be made stackable.... I can't really see many people picking ashes up if they're not. Just the sheer logistics of an abyssal or nech task.... if you wanted the ashes the best way would be to yak bank them; but then you lose healing (not a big deal to some people, but I like my health) and don't forget you'd need between 1 and 250 yak scrolls per task. If they make them stackable it'll finally give ecto something that could rival bones. If they don't they people'll will just be "meh" and no one will buy on ge and no one will pick up.

Armoured Zombies primarily because they're semi-good money too. I made 18m from 85-94 defence. If you CBA with quests then Slayer which I would advise as I regret doing my defence like I did. Depends if you want pure speed, money or what from it. AZ's = both, Slayer = OK exp (personally I can now get 7-800K str exp in a day) and OK money, Bandits = AFKable and total loss, same I think for Daggonoths and Yaks, LRC = Ewwwww, don't do it, just don't put yourself through it... A slayer task at my levels with cannon is bad enough.... Just ew. Do some quests kid. Some of the best things in game come from them.

They accidentally rollback all accounts to 2007 and delete all those made after would be the worst thing that'd happen. Someone bothered to lure the Hati Wolf all the way down to Catherby and it pwned the [cabbage] out of some bots. Lulz were had :thumbup: That sounds like a heroic effort! Did you get a screeny? :o

Jesus some people are stupid (not aimed at you btw Demby). However, since when has anyone heard of Jagex updating at 00:00AM GMT? I had someone in edge bank ask me if it was back not long ago too <_< The ignorance of people sometimes just pushes the limit.

If you're slaying, then no... Dragon defender. Arcane I guess is good if you want to max mage bonus, so that depends if you're mage slaying. Spectral is only good if you're tanking a bit of mage due to having 20 more mage defence than a DFS (hence why people like TheKoolKandy use Spectrals at Bandos). Other than that, keep to defender.
