A friend and I are a bit nervous about going for Bandos duo..... We decided that since he needs another 60M for 99 pray and I need another 40M for 99 smithing that we'd try out bandos. We already have most of the elite kit like Quagsire has shown me ages ago.... however we're still not sure about risking (Though I did a quick "Items kept on death" thing and we keep most of it, and with the protect item on we keep Karils). Me: 88 Attack 85 Strength 99 Defence 92 HP 77 Range 74 Mage 70 Prayer 90 Summoning Him: 95 Attack 93 Defence 94 Strength 95 HP 86 Ranged 96 Prayer 90 Mage 94 Summon So obviously he'll tank. Because turmoil + super def = better than me with super pot and piety? Anyways if I am right about that above point, then here's the stuff that we'll be using and what we might replace it with thanks to looking at what we'll keep. Neit, Glory (Don't wana risk 15M of furys) Karils (might swap to black dhide though as it has better defence in all but mage and range where it is -15 and -2 off karils respectively?) Verac Skirt Dragon Boots Whip Rune Defender (I'm contemplating DFS when i get used to it) SW Cape for him/Ardy Cape 2 for me Rune Gloves (Don't want barrows to protect over karils) And then the invo would consist of: Zammy item (for KC) Hammer, Super Attack X2 Super Strength X2 3 Brews 3 Super restores Unicorn Pouch Unicorn Scrolls War Tort Scroll (Just incase the one we take runs out with sharks in) 1 click Tele rest of invo sharks AND a war tort filled with sharks Do you think duo will be good idea then based on that set up and invo? We wana give it a try before we give up on boss hunting ideas.

Well supposedly the level you stop failing at is 75..... So when I hit 70 by doing the last 200 laps of wildy I'll be able to pie/pot up to 75. Just wondering if I'd be intensively pieing all the time or if I should go to 71 at wildy then pie at Ape Toll.

Just wondering if pieing from 70 is really worth it. If so, then I'll be heading there in ~200 laps time!

What's the point in nolifing it like that? :unsure: Forgive me for asking but I'd understand a little if it was something that'd take a while - eg 99 Smithing - but cooking really is fast enough to level without doing all nighters for it. :unsure: And then again you're only getting .1X exp more..... you really that desperate for this 99?

I'd advise people to do whatever they don't like, and ones that you can't get bonus xp in regularly. Agility yes, Herblore yes, anything you can get the likes of SC tools for excluding mining, no :P Greater appeal for skills, SC tools are too easy for the likes of construction & smithing. Ah well for me I did smithing until it hit 1.9X I still now have 1.7X on the clock (Been agilitying for the past hour) and have logged out because of Rev Ork. But yeah..... Got me 94 smith and 267K from 95. So make that exception ;)

Dear epic TIF person that's reading this..... Yes you, I am talking just to you, no one else, but you..... I missed you..... Did you catch that? :) I MISSED YOU! Just you! No one else but you! :) Did you miss me? Haha alright enough with the crazy chat :P Unless you haven't noticed I've been back from my self imposed haitus. Well.... more of a disappearence, but lets not go into technicalities yet! Basically many of you have hazy memories *HINTHINTZOKOTHINTHINT* and wont remember, how, what, when, why, where or anything about when I kinda just disappeared off the face of the RS world. Basically this little story below is me telling you what happened for me to go :P October - I went to university (YEY), drink, friends, drink, work, drink, going out. That.... limited my ability to play RS shall we say? Though I still did come on here (even when drunk! ;) That's commitment for ya!) for aaaaages to help and take breaks from essays. January - My relationship hit rocky ground. I was with this amazing woman, she was my first ever girlfriend and I was her first boyfriend..... :o What's that I hear you say? This is going soppy? Oh not another cliched love at first sight blogs is it? Isn't it quite sad that you were 17 when you had your first girlfriend and likewise for her? :o and the list goes on and on. So shut it. I'm talking :) Also in January, my laptops processors kind of died. I've got an Acer Aspire 5536 with an AMD Turion X2 processor and a ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics card. So all you computer buffs should know that this thing might be pretty nifty? Ah well.... it just randomly gave up the ghost one day. Skype calls started getting difficult. RS lagged like hell. I couldn't have msn and iTunes/Spotify on at the same time without it crackling. ETC ETC ETC. April - Now here's where my disappearance starts. And people like Valuxai, Draz, Witchy, Zoky etc are owed a debt of gratitude because they're amazing <3: Basically this woman I had been with since the start of sixth form - So to you guys we had been together 2 years in total with a break up in between getting back together - found in April that the pressure of uni was getting too much for her and she couldn't cope with everything. The stress was getting to her and she needed to cut things off that stressed her out. Guess that meant me too. We're ok friends atm, but I can't stop liking her and keep setting myself up to fall (HALP), and Draz, though an amazing councilor and BFAM, can't seem to get through to me that I need to cut off from her for a bit, and get back in the game. But ah well. May - Exams, Counciling, BetaBlockers - which are kinda like anti-depressants..... they slow down your heart rate, keep you calm and collected, and yeah.... I was on meds -, Alcohol, Not Eating, Music. Yep..... 2010 was going to S**T. :) Such is my life. June - On June 3rd or there abouts.... might have been a day or 2 before, I get told that my Grandad is in hospital. So like any distressed uni student living 2 hours away from home I ring up my parents and they make the perilous trek to my uni and back home with me in the back. We get to the hospital at 1AM (GMT obviously for all you thinking about where I am). I stay home for the week until the Saturday when we go and get my uni stuff back from uni and bring me home totally. I go into hospital every day and the day after I first go in I get told that Grandad had Pneumonia, some kind of Bone Cancer, and some fluid in the abdoman....... Short answer = This time he wasn't coming out. Now forgive me if I've got you choked up, I mean I'm finding it hard to face all these demons myself and type it down..... I haven't even told the 2 people closest to me that this is still affecting me to this day :/ On June 6th Grandad dies..... He was 97, and one of the greatest people I have ever known. Now fast forward to August. I send off my lappy. It comes back all fixed :D YAYS! So on August 28th, I start smithing again. I do this until the 31st (or was it the 1st of this month) and then I make this announcement that I'm pretty much back :) So guys..... Please.... Comment on this :) I'd love to see who missed me if anyone did at all, because I missed you all!

I've been looking at your pic, but still I'll just post everything I deem necessary for slaying tbh :P Armour Stuffs Slay helm/FSH Fury/Glory Torags Chest/other barrow chest/Bandos Verac Skirt/other barrow legs/Bandos D Boots Barrow Gloves Whip/D Scim Rune Defender Fire Cape/SW/Ardy Cape 3/Trimmed SC/Untrimmed SC/Obby Cape Berserker Ring/Warrior Ring (I personally wear RoL because I'm OCD about my fire cape.....) Potions and other nice things for you to get killing with: Cannon Stock of 3K Cballs Prayer Pots Sup Sets Monkfish/Pineapple Pizzas Bunyip Pouches Highest Combat Familiar you can get pouches Saradomin Sword Zamorakian Spear (Though this can be argued to go in the essentials above because of it's use at Waterfiends) Karils top and Bottom (Look at point about ZS) Prosylite Armour (NEED it for prayer intensive tasks) That's actually all that pops to mind. You want to cannon everything you can do, and what you can't cannon you piety atm. Makes life extremely quick, easy, simple, and fun. Happy Slaying.

I'm on the final cusp of X2.0 with no reset so kinda disappointed :( On the other hand.... with these last 2 mins to go until about 3 hours of playing since ~1 today, I have 290K or somewhere abouts there, to get for 95 smithing. Which, as soon as this weekend is over, I shall be going to SC to get the hammers for (that and 96).

I would love one too.... Not least because I have the bars for 95 smithing, yet am on 2:22 methinks meaning I've got 15 mins left till 2.0X multiplier methinks.

You cant. Then why were people talking about it? It happens randomly. It resets only once, but it's random when it happens. So are people still getting resets? Because I've hit 2.1 right on schedule with no resets all day.

Well this is Jagex we are talking about. I did admittedly, like the rest of you, forget they fail to do the most simple task. They make the people in the GE shouting "free st00f pl0x" look like Oxbridge Educated Professors. I am still surprised at the lack of competence they seem to have..... Complete farce now. To make it fair they should roll it out that when people hit a certain time it resets.
